I first picked up book 29 of Richard Blade when I was probably in middle school. I didn't know it at the time, but it was wildly inappropriate for my age. Extreme, non-stop violence, vulgar, pornographic sex scenes...you know...everything a growing boy needs. So, naturally, i loved it.

I now pick up a new Richard Blade every time I see one in a used book store and currently have more than 20. Short, simple, clunky prose, a whirlwind of sex and blood. If Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote a James Bond porno fan fiction--you would have Richard Blade.

Fantastic fun to read about Blade kicking some pirate ass. (My 4 stars were given generously, using only other Blade stories as comparison)

Ninth adventure into Dimension X.

I fully enjoyed this installment. Blade awakens to find himself in the aftermath of a sea battle. Pirates stalk the waters and keep honest folks terrified to travel by sea.

Conveniently the pirates infest a large island in the middle of a land-locked sea. The pirates want to attack and overthrow the strongest opposing nation with treachery. Richard Blade has other plans.

This installment adds a bit of the supernatural. A priestess of an outlawed snake cult backs her boasts up. Hell-bent on world dominion.

Richard's story in H Dimension takes a new direction.

This has to be the worst Blade book of the series that I have read so far.Very boring and shallow.I just could not get into it.I did finish it though.

Richard Blade travels to new worlds and never fails to find danger and love. Good quick men's adventure read. Recommended
