Wings of Forgiveness: Working with the Angels to Release, Heal and Transform

Rate this book

Wings of Forgiveness is a book for anyone who is ready to release their past and find freedom from fear. Kyle has found through his personal psychic practice and work with the angels that when people are experiencing difficulties, there is one topic that helps click everything else into place – forgiveness. Forgiveness is not an easy subject, but it is a necessary focus in spirituality and personal growth.

In this book, the reader is taken on a journey – not outside of themselves, but within. Drawing on many spiritual texts, including A Course in Miracles and The Gnostic Gospels, Kyle shows that we truly are all held and cherished by the divine, and makes these sacred concepts more accessible for his 21st-century readers. Together with the angels, he will show you how to call in the power of heaven to help you forgive, release all that no longer serves you and experience joy and peace.

The whole time I was reading this I was picturing the author as like a skinny, aging hippie with long, tangled grey hair, tattered hemp clothes and a prevalent smell of weed.

Imagine my surprise when I saw his contrasting pic in the back.

This book is choc-full of hippie vibes which I LOVE if I connect but LOATHE if I don't. I can be incredibly cynical for someone who actually does believe in spirits XD

The Jesus stuff in this was too much for me. I believe in spiritual stuff, but otherwise I need scientific grounding. I just don't believe that, if Jesus was a real person centuries ago, that he'd be floating around in spirit form today, encouraging people to love one another. Don't tell me this is a book about angels and then give me Jesus. You're gonna make my task of forgiveness a little harder.

So that was kinda disappointing.

But then I do actually like the overall message of letting forgiveness help you to let go and love others. Holding on to pain only hurts us, and as much as there are some jerks in my life that I can't imagine forgiving any time soon (I am a serious holder of grudges) I do love the idea that one day I'll figure out how to let that old pain go through forgiveness.

I also really enjoyed the part relating to the chakras - this is definitely something that resonates with me so I'm glad it was included.

The personal anecdotes kinda took away some credibility of the author for me, because his experiences were pretty full on. I'm not doubting his accounts, but I can tell you that if I saw someone in public acting the way this guy did in some circumstances, I'd probably think he wasn't playing with the full deck. Plus, again with the Jesus and the Mary and Magdalene and ... *sigh* At one point he talks about how God is not a religious word, it's just the universe and love etc etc. But then within the same segment says that God just wants you to feel loved and he's not going to punish you. "In his eyes, you are always forgiven." So ... is God the universe or does he have (non-judgy) eyes?? Tres confus

For a book about angels there was, tragically, a distinct lack of angels. But I did like what I read! And obviously forgiveness is pretty specific so naturally there's a bunch of celestial beings that were never likely to make an appearance.

Overall I enjoyed most of it, but the personal influences were a bit much for me. There was just a bit too much regarding religion and religious figures, but there's some great stuff on chakras and energy and ultimately about how forgiveness can help you free your soul.

A good book

A good book with many lessons to help everyone understand the need to forgive and why we forgive. There are many lessons on how to forgive, especially asking the angels for assistance in forgiving ourselves and all those in our lives.

Not my favorite Kyle Gray book

I was super excited about this book and truly wanted to enjoy it more. I feel like a lot of the stories were filler material and only some were more in alignment with the topic he was trying to share. Personal experiences are important however some really didn't resonate I do like his interpretation of how to work with the different angels for forgiveness. It is nice that he has also giving you prayers to work with. Though I plan to use a few of these prayers with revised words that resonate for me, overall the beginning half of the book is best. Kyle Gray is one of my favorite angel experts and this book left me wanting and lacking information.

Through his sharing of his experiences and the experiences of others, including channeled messages, Kyle Gray offers insight into the value of forgiveness and the downside of unforgiveness. He offers evidence and testimony that forgiveness is part of the journey to love, healing, and a peaceful life and soul journey.

However, I found overall, based on experience with Kyle Gray's other works, this book fell short. It seemed to be a book put out for promotional purposes and, as such, a collection of fillers in book form. Little about knowledge of connecting with angels, as implied by the title. He has better books, and while I don't discount this one entirely (it will remain on my shelf for now), I think this one fell short if the reader is expecting more about angels and how they work with us on forgiveness.

It's a good book to pick up and put down as you have the time to read a bit of forgiveness inspiration here and there.

Meh

I didn't finish reading not because the book is lacking, it probably has great insight for some, and I love Angels.
However, I did feel that the beginning was an advert for another persons book and this one had just reworded and the book itself is more Kyles own experience and an advert for himself.
I was kind of hoping for a bit more knowledge on the angels themselves instead of another book that simply says the essence of every other medium - meditate and call upon your guide.
I just find it a shame when a person so enthusiastic about a topic only talks about their own experiences with case studies - why not give more knowledge to the readers rather than a sales pitch?

thought and change provoking

As I read this incredible book, I began thinking Kyle was talking to me. I’ve been working on forgiveness, but not in the way Kyle presented the information. I immersed myself in the process and accepted the ideas presented. I did the work and finished the book on 31 December 2024. What an incredible way to start 2025. I’ve book-marked pages to revisit as I continue on my “Wings of Forgiveness” journey. Thank you, Kyle Gray for sharing your story, so I can “work with angels to release, heal and continue to transform” my life 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I do love a good spiritual book every now and then as i like to step out of ficton mode for a little bit. This book helped me through my own brothers passing. Sadly he took his own life and for a fair few years i struggled quietly to process it and let forgiveness in.
Wings of forgiveness helped me look at at things from a different perspective and helped change my thought process along the way.
I love how Kyle Gray writes as he helps you see things clearly on a spiritual level.

Self forgiveness

Found this book really comforting to read. I'm familiar with it's concepts but really enjoyed the way he interprets A course in Miracles.
It's an easy and very heart warming read. The Angel's were loving my energy as I read. Quite joyous.

This was a good book but not one of Kyle's best. His high vibration book was a lot better.
