Hi! I am Daniella and writing is my life. It was not until very recently that Fiffy and I finally got the courage to follow our dream and become full time authors.

Even though I am the only one writing, Fiffy is always here to assist me with inspiration.

My characters are like people inside my head that won’t leave me alone until I give them life on paper. I really enjoy writing fantasy romances and I’m thrilled to be doing it full time.

Thank you so much for reading my books!

Sold - yeah, the tittle doesn't fit, because she wasn't sold, she was "assigned". So already it's not working for me. We now have humans being detained by aliens. Aliens who look like werewolves, but that wasn't really clear, they're not shifters, that's all I know. Follow that up with a ship commander who basically abandons her crew. She gets "assigned" to some type of Prince for integration into their society and that's where it went totally downhill for me. Want to know what that process entails? Producing a child. Oh you don't want to have kids? Too bad. You HAVE to do it. Oh and guess what? You'll end up being a single mom too because you have to have multiple partners and this suuuuuper advanced race apparently doesn't have the capacity for DNA testing. I mean, the main character doesn't even know how many children he has fathered, he has zero contact with any of them, and the female mc is totally ok with this. None of it makes any sense, even if you read it with an open mind. Did I mention how human the aliens are?

Look, the key to a really good syfy romance book is to make your aliens actually alien. You can make them outrageous with a hint of humanity, you can make the worlds all kind of crazy as long as they make sense. Case in point - Poppy Rhys and VC Lancaster. Their world and character building are incredible. Completely alien, with talons and bird feet, but so well written it absolutely worked. Try those books instead, KU, free to read, and a million times better.

If you picked this up because the synopsis thing made it sound like you were getting fiery heroine meets alpha prince, well...I hope you’re reading this through Kindle Unlimited. She’s not fiery and he’s not alpha. She does not make “his life hell” by any stretch. She’s boring, he’s boring. There was literally group sex and I was like eh. There was even double penetration and I was BORED.

These PC Aliens Are Wolves🐺 In Sheep's🐑 Clothing

Nothing To See here....
Hannah Bakewell 💃💋 is a rare conservationist in a futuristic human world 🌎that is exploring space in order to mine and devastate every habitable planet 🌎 they can find.
When their ship is captured by werewolf🐺 like alien men, the humans go ballistic and are killed for being rude and resisting. The werewolf🐺 society is PC to the maximum, yet completely intolerable to any one who descents from their standards.

People cannot express differences of opinion without somehow offending the werewolves🐺.
Half of Hannah's crew is killed for arguing with their captors! Best to keep your 👄mouth shut!

I disliked the book📕 most of the way through because I didn't like the creepy attitude of the werewolf🐺 peoples.

ARC Received from Booksprout🌱
I also got this book with KU.

The only problem with the writing is that the author switches first person characters without identifying who is speaking or making some type of a break in the page structure to show the change.
This is an adult XXX sci-fi romance. There wasn't much fighting or adventure to it. It's mostly a study of the huge differences in the werewolf🐺 and human society.

The title is misleading! She wasn't sold at all. She was given to the prince to help her integrate into his society. The book was boring, but the sex was pretty hot! Would have liked more of that!!

This book was completely different than what I expected. I had read a few comment saying that there was some things that were different then the description and that they didn't like it but I thought that wouldn't be an issue with me. I was so wrong I have so many issues with this book I don't know even where to start.

(Just kidding I know we're to start🤬)

Let's start off with the actual title "sold" isn't the correct word it's more like gets a green card to stay on the alien planet and get impregnated or be killed. Second the Prince isn't actually a werewolf yeah he has some traits that look like it but in overall he is described as an alien.
The next problem was the main characters themselves. First off she was totally not believable as a real person or character. I mean half of your crew is killed and you don't really feel any remorse towards them? (That just doesn't make any sense😑). Then brings the other problem of this society that believes that everyone should be polite and if anybody is not they kill them which is totally ridiculous. The whole time this society is being explained she actually agrees with it and goes along with it which is totally different than what her description says to be. Then came the prince he was so wimpy and so boring that I didn't want to get to know him at all. Then comes next of telling how she becomes integrated into their society she must sleep with a bunch of men and get pregnant so that she may be allowed to stay . Okay this was not what I expected I usually like books that have monogamy so I was a little taken back that there wasn't going to be that in this book. Around halfway through the book The Prince just shows up out of nowhere and having had no time spent with her really he then says that he wants to have sex with her and she's totally into it so the night comes and she's excited to spend the night with him but then his guards come and they all have sex by then I was totally done with this book it wasn't anything like it was explained and usually books that have multiple partners tell you before you buy the book I was a little mad that they didn't show that in the description before I bought it!

I ended up not finishing the book which I hate doing. I do not recommend this book unless you like that kind of stuff but this book was not for me.

Hannah complains constantly about Earth and the people on it and Americans but then later in the book she misses it so much. If you hated it so much you wouldn't be wanting to go back... Then she says "there is an analogy that if you are in a plane crash and need oxygen, you must give yourself oxygen first. If you don't, you will probably pass out or die, and then you can't help others. You can only help others when you are looked after yourself." She is saying this as in a bad thing but if you pass out what good are you to help others? She goes on to say that her father was rich and she and her younger siblings got showered with gifts and that she didn't like it. So she moved in with her older sister but now she lives with a prince and gets showered with gifts and loves it... Another thing is that Tamkin has x amount of babies and it doesn't bother Hannah? How do you know that the single mothers are even getting treated fairly and getting jobs and husbands? Tamkin doesn't get executed on the spot because he is royalty and then gets sentenced to exile. Wouldn't you imagine that would cause an uproar from family members that have lost loved ones for saying far less insulting things? Some of the chapters it switched between Hannah and Tamkin in the middle of the chapter and that was very confusing as well. One sentence you are reading from Tamkin's view then a couple sentences later you are reading as Hannah. Hard for me to read but I feel like I need to finish a book to give an honest review!

I received this book as a gift of an advanced read copy and I would like to give my honest opinion of what I have read.

This is an amazing story one the I would have never thought of to write. Oh, I have read stories of ships being taken over and the occupants into slavery of some sort but this one is really different. It brings up to the forefront how we as humans interact with one another, and also about the way in which we treat our own planet and how we think of ourselves in the grand scheme of things.

In the beginning of this story Ranger Hannah Bakewell is about the largest space ship ever built and is the most advanced in technology and weaponry. At this point Ranger Desmon is waiting for her reports about the planet that they have been circling. Back on Earth she was the Environmental Officer of Forest and looking down at the pristine planet down below she can just see what their race will do to the beauty of in no time. The reason that they are looking for new settlements is because they have abused earth from polluting the air and oceans to killing off mass species of animals that were native to the planet. People with money just want and they don’t seem to care of the consequences of their actions. The computer read out showed Hannah that there were single cell organisms on the planet which for her it was the beginning of life. She want to do a deeper scan though Ranger Desmon was put out about it. It seems he was more interested in beating the Russians and reaping the financial reward of finding a viable planet. To his displeasure she ran the second scan staying by the computer at all times to make sure that no one messed with the findings but unfortunately there were no sentient life forms there. This is where Hannah decided that she was going to go against command. She told the computer to delete all the findings and to set a course to another planet. Just as she was about to start things in motion Desmon came into to the room all smug the saw she was changing the course. Told her that she was too late he had all ready notified them on earth. As they were arguing the are thrown to the floor by a strong force.

Suddenly their screen is filled with the biggest ship that Hannah had ever seen and the earth ship was suppose to be big in their standards was sucked into the ship with ease. This is where their lives get turned upside down. The crew is taken into a cell, and before crew new the customs of these people Desmon went up into one of the Guards face and started to yell at him. Desmon was instantly shot and killed. It was then that the Guards told them that they were to talk to everyone politely and with respect; anyone that doesn’t comply would be instantly executed. They were told that they were going to the home planet to be judge for attempting to violate a planet that was just starting to show life and couldn’t defended itself. Needless to say that there were some crew members that were having trouble complying with the rule of respect and politeness and didn’t quite make it through the sentencing part of the courts decision. Hannah was found not guilty of the charges. They showed the evidence where she tried to erase the scans for the plant and set a course away from it.. They also played the argument that she had with Deson how was her superior standing up to protect the planet. She was then given to Prince Tamkin the forth, to be integrated into their society.

Now this is where you the reader are going to have to read for your self what happens. How will she be able to speak to someone with out offending them and getting herself killed. What is there to the being integrated into their society? How will she get along with the Prince and the Royal family? There is so much to this story that it has to be read because it more that a story. It is about us now in our day and age and the things that are happening to use today. This is in fact a very deep book when you get right down to it. I suggest to anyone that reads my review that they get this book and read it. Yes, there are seance with graphically described sexual encounters and if that bothers you try to look past that part because this is really, really a good book.

So misleading

First of the name Sold to the werewolf prince is total crap. There was no auction no one bought anyone. Hannah’s ship got boarded by aliens because they were investigating a class 1 planet. Class 1 is where there is sustainable life but no sentient beings thus far. Anyway I also have to add that if it’s a romance novel shouldn’t there be romance? Attraction feelings love?perhaps a connection with this other person? So close to the end the prince Tamkin explains to his parents that he feels attracted to Hannah is there love umm nope. The book has no mention on love. Also, this book should be classified as harem based or mmmmf.
So there’s this orgy with the prince and his guards with Hannah and although the prince is the only one who penetrates her vaginally she still does these other things with his guards. No where in the description they mention that is that type of book. I’m not part of the polyamory relationship crap.

Again that’s part of the misleading information. The book talks about being nice and not offend anyone because they aliens in vethor will kill you on the spot. So let’s say my whole review would be considered offensive to the vethorians I would be killed if I was on that planet. The book had potential but the author didn’t do it justice I don’t like harem books to begin with I’m glad I didn’t pay the buck for this because seriously it’s not worth it.😡

Imagine

Imagine a world where politeness is revered above all else--so much so that you can instantly be put to death if you insult someone or are otherwise impolite. That is the way of life on Vethor. When Hannah's ship is captured, she finds this out the hard way. Many of the crew are killed on the spot. The rest are sentenced to prison. She, alone, is spared because of her stand on upholding the sanctity of life (even though that life is a single-celled organism). Instead, she is accepted for integration. She is to live with Prince Tamkin and learn how to be a Vethorian. He has always been fascinated with humans and urges Hannah to teach him all she knows. Things are going smoothly until Tamkin makes the mistake of playfully dissing one of his guards. Now, he's in prison awaiting execution. Can she save him in time or will she and their unborn child have to live without him?
A very interesting storyline. Imagine how hard it would be to always be nice. Living in fear of saying something that can get you killed. Ms. Wright does an incredible job of depicting such a world. Her characters are engaging, her plot is well managed, and the ending is a pleasant surprise. The only problem I have with the book is the title. I'm probably being too picky but she wasn't sold, she was given. And, he isn't a werewolf, he just resembles one.

So my complaint on the previous books I’ve read from this author was a lack of character development. This book exceeds in that area, & yet the book was still too short. The ending was way too abrupt with many loose ends. In short, the conclusion was unsatisfying. I just don’t understand what would be the harm in writing a longer book!
Another complaint is the switching pov’s. It should have been clearer.

That said, I still thought the book was wonderful. I thought the plot was fresh & inventive. The chemistry between the characters was great. Even the world building was on point. The author knows how to fit a lot into a little.

Now, I did see a lot of reviews where people thought the aliens way of life was stupid, but like the book said...humans are arrogant like that. First off, it’s fiction people. Second, it’s mighty xenophobic to assume (if an alien race does exist) that their values & belief system would be similar, when even those on Earth vary so much.
Was it frustrating to read? Yes, but I thought that was part of the fictional journey. Immersing yourself in another culture isn’t supposed to be comfortable- it’s supposed to be thought provoking & eye opening.

Misleading and irritating

The name of the book is misleading. I mean it says "sold" but Hannah was taken from her ship with her crew and given to the Prince. That was the first thing that sent me on this low rating journey.
The second thing is the fact that Hannah was supposed to be a leader on her ship but she left her crew hanging to defend themselves. I thought she represented the alien's negative version of humanity quite well. She was selfish and I didn't see one reason why she should have gotten her HEA. I didn't understand why the Prince wanted to see humans because everything she said was negative and from what she said I wouldn't want to have anything to do with Earth or its inhabitants. The characters were simple and very irritating. The aliens were so self righteous and arrogant that they never got to know the aliens they were integrating into they're society. I'm the end this was not the story I thought it was.

Sold to the Werewolf Prince. I was surprised at this book. It was different than I expected from a werewolf story. It takes place in space and on a different planet. I'm not sure I can buy the story about a whole planet acting with politeness all the time. Nobody can speak ill-will of anyone or else they are killed. Ranger Blakewell gets with the Prince along with others used to replenish the planet. Sex on this planet was different than Ranger Blakewell ever experienced. How will she do when she is inpregnated by the Prince? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. That book was... underwhelming.
I thought werewolf meant that he could transform or shapeshift into a wolf, he doesn't, he just look barely wolfish, he's not the wolfiest guy out there and he's just mostly human...
No possessive or jealous guy, but it's not menage, it still is one girl and one guy.

No passion, no culture shock, boring and underwhelming.

Great story!

This is really interesting. The author was very creative in her development of the alien world and it’s culture. A very reserved culture when it comes to personal interactions and not offering insult, a very strange new world when it comes to their sexual practices. This was not quite the story I thought i would be getting based on the title. He’s not actually a wolf, although to a human the prince has similar features to wolves but he’s not a shifter. Also, the h is not sold to the prince, I think that’s a matter of branding. The h is assigned to the Prince for him to integrate into his world, what makes this an unusual situation is that he is not just teaching her his culture. For an alien to be an integrated citizen they must have a child...

"Prison is not much fun. It's a given,..."

I found this book to be better written than the other "Sold" book by the Danielle Wright. I do believe the title and the discription of the book are misleading. No one was sold to anyone and she is not forced or expected to bear young for the prince.
The idea for a society that goes to such extremes about politeness hits close to home with all the "political correctness" we have here in the United States of America.
There where several mistakes of missing words and plot/storyline errors. Most of them toward the end of the book like the writer was rushed to finish.

Werewolf Prince

First, let's start off with the fact that if you are looking for a werewolf story you have come to the wrong place. He is a hairy alien. She is human. The story itself is a pretty new take on an alien romance scifi. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The author is a smooth writer ( for me at least). The one thing that I wish was different, and would have made it easier to read, is if there were indicators to distinguish between who was talking. One moment you are reading her p.o.v and the next paragraph it's suddenly his.

I stumbled upon this through suggestions from Kindle Unlimited, certain parts definitely intrigued me , such as the way Earth is described and how rangers are out looking for better way of life.
The world and situations the author has created very different. This hits home with the challenges we face every day, and could be scene as a scary foreshadowing if we dont change our way of life.

I was torn by the rest of the way the story progressed, sex scenes were ok, but felt something felt off, maybe how the alien culture feels about procreating and parenting, family units.

It’s ok

It’s a good story but at times the perspective changes without any notice. It’s very frustrating to jump around from one paragraph being Hannah and then the next sentence be the prince. Some were marked and some weren’t.

It was a good story but the ending was very rushed. I don’t want to give spoilers but the beginning and middle flowed very nicely and I was enjoying the story. Then there’s a quick left turn and it’s over. I found the ending to be disappointing on that front.

DNF at 48%. I really liked the beginning of this book and I had hoped I would like the rest but, alas, I did not. The writing was a bit confusing; the changing POV with no indication. Also, the whole ‘politeness’ quirk of the aliens rubbed me the wrong way. Like, if you are taught to respect someone and always be polite, wouldn’t executing someone who doesn’t know your culture be considered rude? Or forcing someone to conceal their true thoughts in the name of being PC? I’m also more into alpha males and sassy main characters, so the whole politeness thing obviously detracted from that.

Ranger Bakewell is struggling with current job...as an enviromentalist it is doing her in.. next thing she knows her and her crew are being whisked off to a new planet. What will become of her.. what will she see... who will she meet and how will she survive this vastly different planet and its laws...I enjoyed reading this book. I think you will too.

Tamkin and Hannah's integration

Imagine leaving Earth behind and then finding yourself being intergrated into an alien culture were a lack of politeness on your part can get you killed. Characters that are interesting. Intimate scenes that are believable and stimulating. A definite page turner. The books title needs to be changed as Hannah was not sold to Tamkin, he was assigned to help her intergrate into the alien society.

An alien race that believes being polite and always thinking of others feelings and happiness before your own. It definitely would never work with a human but maybe Hannah can be the one that can. Otherwise she will die just like the rest of her crew. Don’t forget they want you to be happy so just imagine what four males or even on can do for a female in bed. The book has deaths but the violence is barely there. It does get extremely hot at times.

Not what I was expecting

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised 😮
The book has a good story line, and also, more importantly, the characters ( some of them) have depth!

However I did have some confusion with the POV change, there is no title or even a break between the paragraph to show a change of view, also one of the characters names was ( i guess) autocorrected to Maude! 😁., these things happen but it’s such a ‘human’ name is really stood out xx

I really liked this sci-fi read. While the rest of the crew is sentenced to life in prison, Hannah is sent to Vethor where a prince is there to teach her the customs of the planet. Being offensive could get you killed and Hannah is often biting her tongue. How long will she be able to keep this façade up? Fast-paced read with great drama and an intriguing story-line. I really liked it.

This book was okay. I wanted a light, fun romance and essentially this is it. It only has two stars because the POV changed in the middle of pages and it was super confusing. Also, the protagonist wasn't sold to the prince, he was responsible for integrating her into their society. Overall, a meh read.

Umm

I found myself struggling to finish this book and I wanted to scream at the most asinine things happening. But I finally finished the book and can say I would not recommend this one. The is no “wolf” per say but just a split race of aliens that take on some of their features. I felt lied to since I love a shifter romance.

Different from other aliens views

A different take on a alien/human love connection then I have read before. I didn't like that it didn't clearly tell you whose point of view you were on, the more you read the quickier I was to determine who it was. I am hoping to see if there is a book two, overall was a really good read

What to Say

This was one of those books I thought about tossing after second chapter. As it turned I should have.
Felt like the author was lecturing this reader about social ills. The title of the book is misleading. The characters didn’t grab me, they were bland and lacked personality.
