Deck the halls with knives, chains, and dangerous children’s toys!
Team Alpha is celebrating the holidays, but a surprise blizzard has snowed them in at Bossman and Papa P’s house, along with a few friends.
Not that Papa P minds. He’ll take any excuse to keep his loved ones close and stuff them full of good food.
It’s not only snow that’s flying through the air, however. Omega counselor Dean and Team Beta leader Sam may have found more than a little holiday cheer while joining the team’s holiday festivities.
And Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Bossman and Papa P recounting the joy of their anniversary… and the hard times that came before.
This book is best enjoyed if you’ve already read the previous Team Alpha stories, as there are plenty of in-jokes, purple sparkly knives, and growing children sprinkled throughout this tale. As always, you can expect some naughty knotty fun, humor not suitable to share with your mother-in-law, and all your favorite characters. Trigger warnings: graphic violence and mention of human trafficking. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ readers only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
I started reading this series awhile ago and when I realized that a spin-off was coming out, I knew I had to wrap up this series so I can start the spin-off.
This book was short and cute. Just the guys and their mates and kids spending Christmas together.
It did introduce us to some of the characters in the spin-off.
This was sushi a sweet ending to this series. We got to see a new couple get together, but also got to learn about how Ray saved Justin so long ago, and thus formed the first Team ALPHA.
Perfect end to the series and set up for a new one.
I was so excited to find out how Ray and Justin found each other. I loved spending a Christmas with everyone. Sam and Dean were a bonus. I have already read the first book in the new series. Well written and entertaining.
Great Christmas story to introduce us to the new team. "Alphabits". Sam and Dean's baby. It was also good to catch up with all the guys three years down the road.
Let's see where this new series takes us and what surprise we will unfold.
I have now read all 7 of the TEAM ALPHA books. But I decided to wait until the end to review partially because I couldn't stop my binge. Why did I start reading these to start? Well I just heard from Nora Phoenix that Susi had passed. 😥 I had read some of her books but not nearly enough. I originally stayed away from the series because I thought maybe it was military like. It was somewhat but the reasons behind it were so important. I had no idea that Team ALPHA's biggest challenge was drug trafficking and sex trafficking rings often the two mixed together. These Alphas were highly courageous in saving many Omegas from death and from being sold into slavery. The leaders of Team ALPHA met at Christmas but then the Omega, Justin was part of a terrible "circus sex trafficking ring", they had collars and were shocked constantly. Even the ALPHA rutting as part of the show wore a collar. The other members of Team ALPHA were their son Noah>Preston, and Boomer>Davey, Levi> Cody, Zeke>Pax, Ezra>Cain, Joshua>Matthew. In each book, there was the required blowing up of a building for Boomer. There was always the Zeke and Ezra show. Always plenty of food. And oh yeah...the minute any of the Omegas went into heat, the Alphas were likely also in rut. Within a few days to a week the Omega every time was throwing up....some worse than others. And after 3 months (wolf biology) male or female Omegas were ready to deliver. Not all made it to the hospital to deliver. It had me Really laughing in many parts as I tried to imagine some things. As far as babies, Omegas had anywhere from 1-3. And many were getting even more kids the old fashioned way. This series is great the way it tackles some tough topics. I am looking forward to reading the Alphabits centered around helping kids with Dean and Sam. Can't w to see more about them. I am truly sorry that their won't be any more great books of Susi's to read.. I very highly recommend this series.
4.5 star ⭐s We Wish You a Merry ChrisTeamas🎄🎄 Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2021 Now I understand the purpose of this holiday edition of Team ALPHA even though the Team story was seemingly finalized in the Sixth book HIDDEN. What this book did was finally tell the origin story of Justin and Ray Perkins relationship. It was told in a manner of an annual cautionary tale with a happy ending for the ever growing number of kids.
It was the Perkins family rendition of a Christmas Story - told before the kids were all snuggled alone in their beds, with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads. Once the kids were put to bed, then the "R" version was told to the adults. What it reveals are the horrors and misery the Perkins suffered before creating Team Alpha and finding their HEA on Christmas Day.
Two new characters are also introduced, including the founding two members of the Alphabits Team and a preview of the spin-off series to come. This is a great addition to the mpreg rescue genre by Susi Hawke and Christa Crown.
Some extra holiday cheer and the creation of Alphabits!
I’m loving the Alphabits Series by Susi & Crista and I didn’t realize it started here! Team leader Sam and his omega Dean find each other at Papa P’s Christmas Party! I’ve read all or most of Team A.L.P.H.A. but I still have a hard time keeping everyone straight and whose kids belong to who but the overall premise of this story was enjoyable and I liked learning more about Papa P and the Bossman. Definitely not a standalone and as there are so many characters I’d recommend reading after you’ve recently read the other books! A great end to this series and the lead into another!
Decked is book 7 in the Team A.L.P.H.A series and you need to have read at least some of the previous books or have an idea of what the series is about. I've read a couple of these books and all of the Alphabits series, so I had an idea of what I was getting into.
Ever since I listened to Rescued (Alphabits book 1), I'd been intrigued over how Sam and Dean got together and learning more about Papa P and Ray's story. It was hot and fun and just perfect for the holiday season.
Colin Darcy is a great narrator, but this book wasn't up to speed, so to speak. It was still enjoyable, but some of the POVs were in a slower than usual voice and it made the story drag in certain places.
but seriously I’m not sure what to make of this book. First, I’ve been waiting for Justin and Rays story since the first book and then even more so when it was teased in the second. However, I feel like it would have been better as a stand alone story told in the moment instead of as a recounting of the event. I would have loved it as a prequel story to this series.
At first I wasn’t on board with Sam and Deans story but they won my heart. However, I also feel like that should have been a prequel story to the spin off series.
It was cute seeing everyone for Christmas time, but it seemed kind of rushed and left me wanting more from the couples.
This is the finally book in this series. A perfect short HEA just in time for the holiday season. Sam and Dean (yes supernatural comes to mind LOL) are to shifter that are friends with Papa P and and Big Ray. They are invited to their Christmas party separately and when the meet sparks fly and the wonderful smells of their mates appear. I loved this series and although I'm sad to see it end, I'm happy with how it was wrapped up with two lonely shifters finding thier way with their own HEA.
Loved hearing about Justin's and Ray's story and the promise of a new series
I have bought every book that Susi Hawke has written and loved every single one.. Her collaboration"s with Crista are fabulous and this festive catch up with all the gang was loveky, as well as introducing 2 new main characters who are going to feature in a spin off series...which involves rescuing children AND I CAN'T WAIT!!
Cute holiday story featuring all the A.L.P.H.A. Couples and their kids and introducing a new couple, Sam and Dean. Hopefully this will be the beginning to a new series since the story introduces the idea of a new team called “alphabits”. In this book, we are given some of Papa P and Ray’s story!
***** POV... multi first person
Standalone or series... part of series but can be read as standalone
Honestly i was never interested in reading M/M or Mpreg romance but this series really changed my mind. With its perfect plot and romance i was just enthralled by all the characters. It felt like they were so alive and a part of my life while i was reading each book. All the characters hold a special place in my heart now and of course their cute little shifter babies ^_^. This series was really worth reading.. Thank you Susi for writing such an amazing series :)
A nice end to the series and a lead into the next one, but it really felt like three different stories to me. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. If so, you achieved your goal. I'm just not sure I liked the format. If not, I found this to be a little disjointed. The stories all followed their own arcs and they all related to each other, but they could have easily stood alone as short stories.
Talk about giving us an entertaining ending to an already wonderful series! But, of course, I should have seen it coming... this leads us straight into the next series and the Alphabits, being led by Sam and Dean. Oh, well... I guess I have no choice but to jump straight into Rescued!!!
A great ending to team Alpha, getting to find out papa P and Rays story was great and catching up with all the families together was a joy to read. Looking forward to the start of the new series Alphabits and the continuation of Sam and Deans story. Well done Susi Hawke and Christa Crown thank you for a wonderful series.
This was a love story for two couples or anniversary buddies as Justin would say. Susi gave a use a book that not only tells the readers the story of boss man and Justin and also sets up the beat teams books to come. I loved it. I missed the crazy bunch.
I love that our favorite authors gave us an amazing Christmas story. This shows how Dean and Sam find each other by accident on Christmas Eve. And we get to see all of our favorite characters from this series! All together with presents and songs with the usual antics of the guys
I enjoyed every one of these books - I was lost for a while when the twins were giving Boomer a hard time, I found that really hard to deal with, but I think Boomer got his payback watching them as their gorgeous Omegas Brough them to heel. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next series but I know for a fact I will revisit this series often, it feels like they’re family now. Great job girls.
Great way to tie up the series and lead into a new spin-off. I loved everything about this, even though its shorter then you're us to for this series it is a great way to see all your past favorites and then see a new couple Sam and Dean come together. Hilarious moments mixed with sexy alphas mating omegas what more could you ask for! Can't wait for the next.
This was a sweet Christmas story to end the series. I liked getting to know more about Justin and Ray. There was also a new romance with Dean and Sam who are from Alphabits. It was nice to see everyone together with their families.
I had to speed up the narration quite a bit for my liking, but overall Colin Darcy did a good job.
I stumbled across the world of Team A.L.P.H.A. by accident on the first day of my long-awaited holiday break. Let me tell you, these bad-assed omegas and alphas pull on everyone of your emotions. From start to finish I was unable to stop myself from instantly starting the next book once I read the last words of the previous.
This story wraps up the Team Alpha series with an all hands Christmas party. It also serves to introduce a new team and a new series. Sam and Dean meet at the party and find out that they are true mates. Sam also pitches his idea about a team devoted to rescuing kids, kicking off the Alphabits series.
So great to see how the Alphabits were formed. We also get Pappa P's back story (perhaps that was book 1 but I don't remember ;) and see all the couples over the Christmas festivities. Sam and Dean's beginning was a nice easy coupling, no horror or abuse, which was great as an alternative :)
This is set during Christmas evening with all the magic that comes with holiday spirit. We finally get the book from Papa P & Ray’s perspective. Their story begins with a lot of angst however they are both so strong to get through it. It also is a prologue for the next series and we see the characters for next book. I enjoyed the whole book and it’s always fun visiting my favourite characters.
And Christmas makes it that much sweeter. It’s always nice to see our guys and in this instance get to see the emerging of a spin-off. Only side note the sexy times with Ray and Papa-P made me squirm a bit. For me it was like reading about your parents lol
I always loved team alpha and have read them over and over. I was sad when the story ended but I am so happy to see just a glimpse of them in this short read. Dean and Sam are so cute and hopefully we get more of them and the new organization that is forming.
What a delight to read. I loved getting to see all the couples and their babies growing together. Ray and Papa P leading the family with tons of love. I can’t wait for the next adventure with Sam and Dean and the alphabits.
Merry Christmas Romance Team A.L.P.H.A. style. It was fun to check in with the guys and see a start of a new love story with th Alpha of team beta. Great snow day read.
