Vale Valley, Season 1 #10

O Little Town of Vale Valley

Rate this book
A Christmas Mpreg Romance.

When this alpha and omega meet, it’s love at frost sight!

Omega Slade Webster has been on the run for years from his abusive ex. He and his young son found a home in Vale Valley and found happiness making sweet, delectable treats for the town. Seriously, you should try them.

But what’s not so sweet, is that Slade is lonely. He’d love to settle with an alpha who would treat him right.

It looks like he’ll have to spend another Christmas alone. That is until he caters his son’s Nutcracker performance at the Vale Valley Event Center and meets a cop who’s just as interested in him as he is about his donuts.

You know what they say, the way to an alpha’s heart is through his stomach. Especially if that alpha is a cop and you make legendary donuts.

Except that Zach Beau isn’t a cop. He went to the police academy, sure, but after he moved to Vale Valley for his ailing mother, he took a job as a security guard for the event center. It’s not that exciting.

That is until he tries Slade’s donuts. And he can’t wait to taste more donuts and the omega.

When he stays late to help Slade clean up after the performance, one thing leads to another, and suddenly Slade may be carrying a special gift of his own.

But can their Christmas magic last?

O Little Town of Vale Valley is the tenth book in a multi-author series about Vale Valley, a small town open to everyone in need of love and a home. Each installment can be read as a standalone.

It’s perfect for readers who love stories with second chances, beautiful dreams between two men, male pregnancy, cute babies, and amazing HEAs. It will leave you singing!

This book totally underwhelmed me... my first thought was to give it 3 stars, but when I took into account how much humor was in the book and how well it worked i decided on 4 stars. I felt like overall the story was pretty good, it just did not flow as well as I'd hoped. Most of the characters felt kinda two-dimensional and I had trouble connecting with them. Overall it was enjoyable, it just didn't WOW me. I do have to say I will never be able to look at a Segway and see it the same again! LOL

***** Happy Omega Slade runs a donut shop and is raising his wonderful son. They escaped the abusive husband three years ago.
Police Academy grad, Alpha, Zach, a generous man, has come home to help his ailing Mom. He's a security guard at the event center,
and is putting his Cop career on hold awhile.

Slade makes donuts for the Nutcracker performance and soon, the men are naked and panting.
It's a short story so things happen quickly, and when the ex shows up, Zach takes over.
This is a fun, sassy, sweet, sexy tale of Christmas hanky-panky and more !
ENJOY !

**3.5 Stars**

This was a super cute one. I liked both characters and little Lakelan. Things were a little rushed and there were still typos but not near as bad as the last one. There were also things like why Zach never got a job out of the police academy that were never explained or I missed if it was. But overall, an enjoyable quick read.

This was book 10 in the "Vale Valley" series. Omega Slade Webster came to the Valley a few years ago with his young son Lakelan after escaping his abusive ex he has a good life he owns his own donut shop but he is lonely. Zach Beau is a security guard at the event center that Slade's son is performing at he returned to the Valley after his father died and his mother had a stroke Zach wanted to be a police officer and he even went to the police academy. When these two meet sparks fly and they can't stop thinking about each other. When they hook-up it turns into an all night affair. As they begin to date and fall in love things are going good until Slade's ex shows up demanding to see his son which we find that Slade is in violation of the custody agreement turns out the ex was abusive physically and verbally. Zach knows that Slade is the one for him and he would do anything to protect Slade and Lakelan. This was a pretty good read I liked both of these character's. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like
‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd,
‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya,
‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or
'Liberty' from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey’s books)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

This story was equally as cute as the Omega Dating Agency Book 2: THE PERFECT MARCH by Aiden & Austin Bates. Both books involved a Single Dad of a seven year old son. I felt the former book was more poignant, but O LITTLE TOWN was more humorous. The authors were quite different in their approaches, but showed that like most seven year olds these boys were more observant than adults realize. Young Lakelan had noticed his father's interest in the "officer".

This book had so many of my favorite tropes I couldn't help but love it, especially with the author Summer Chase handling it all very well. Single Dad, a kid acting like a kid & not a little grown up. One MC was a Baker and the other was in"law enforcement" (mall security :0). Running away to escape an abusive Ex. The Baker was a dutiful Dad and the "officer" a dutiful Son. Custody fights.

The characters were funny, strong willed, smitten, resigned, delighted about a strong mutual attraction. Noticed by others. Family oriented. Alcoholic Ex. PAST domestic violence. Legalities. Ten Little Lords a-Leaping, Dozens of Donuts Baking. And a Bun in the Oven. I truly enjoyed this book!

Well, let's just say that you are never going to look at your Christmas tree ornaments quite the same ever again after reading this book! *snort* LOL!!!

As for the story, it was short and sweet with just a touch of "evil" and of course the adorable Lakelan! There are a few surprises along the way to keep us entertained, but none as amazing as the unusual uses that Slade and Zach find for a scooter... enough said! ;p

I will be sad to see this series end... but it appears that we will be getting a bonus book later to allow us to visit with our new friends in Vale Valley! *grin*

Vale Valley brings together 2 men who have given up on HEA.

Zach is a good son, who returned to Vale Valley to care for his Mom, putting his dreams on hold. Slade is hiding , protecting his son from his abusive ex. When they get together, Slade's doughnuts aren't the only sweet
treats on the menu. Hot, steamy sex. An adorable dancing boy, the Nutcracker, and the Vale Valley Christmas Fair, all contribute to their unfolding relationship. Drama in the form of Slade's abusive Ex showing up threatens them all. You will love this book. I wish it was longer!

🎄Cute, sweet and naughty! 🍩👮

First time reading M/M Pregnancy and I still don't get it. How does a male have a baby? Anyways I still like the story it was cute and sweet and naughty too. Both Zach and Slade are two very nice, sweet guys with normal jobs, no buffed bodies or military background or history which was a difference to read about. Also, only people that are looking for Love can see this cute town, that's original.

It's a cute mm alpha/omega mpreg mating romance set in Vale Valley. A divorced baker omega father with an adorable son meets an alpha security guard who wants to be a cop. When the omega mistakes him for a real police officer, it strokes his ego. The omega's ex serves as the villain, and the alpha's boss is the helpful sidekick.
Typos: I for me ("leaving Jess and I," "have Zach and I"), flash and flashes for flask and flasks.

A sweet ending to the Christmas season!

This was a fun book to read! The characters were loveable and adorable!

Character breakdown;

Zach: he was a fun alpha to get to know! I loved how he did not mind being this tough alpha male but did when it was needed of him.

Slade: he was adorable, a good father and a kinky omega lol. I adored his strength and his humor.

Lakelan: because he was an old soul in a young boy's body I adored him so much!!

More Vale Valley sweetness

This was one of the sweeter stories. Zach and Slade were adorable together and Lakelan was a really great kid. I liked the way he looked up to Zach. I liked that Slade worked so hard to protect Lakelan from his alpha father and that Zach was there to protect him from David. I can't wait to see what else is in store for these characters.

Christmas mistakes

A mistaken identity is what leads Zach to his single dad omega Slade. Slade has a bit of a tragic past but makes the most of it. One day his past makes an appearance which causes Zach protective instincts to kick in. Both began a romance with amazing results until Slade's ex returns causing almost tragic circumstances.

Not my thing

Classic chick with a d***. The mpreg aspect only made it worse. This is actually the type of books I expected and why I avoided the genre for so long.

The characters were okay. Despite being in Vale Valley there was no magical or supernatural aspect at all. Predictable contemporary romance.

Just Enough Angst

I don’t like a lot of angst in romance stories. However, the arrival of Slade’s abusive ex added just enough angst to pull this romance together. I’m glad a baby made an appearance in this mpreg story, which seems rare in this series so far.

Good book

This was a sweet book. Zach was a sweet and kind Alpha for Slade. And I'm glad that Space didn't let the abuse he suffers from his ex Alpha stop him from taking his chance at happiness away.

This was really cute and often times very funny, I just wish I had gotten the chance to know the characters a little more. It’s a nice light (but with some extreme dramatics) Christmas story that I’ve come to expect from the Vale Valley series

Cute Christmas story

Mostly light and sweet Christmas love story. A little drama by an outsider, but other than that, drama and angst free and a feel good story.

Another cute story and another parallel universe. Last book the dance teacher was a woman and this time a man. Still I loved the overall story.

So good.
Another new to me author and another great read. Slate and Zach are perfect for each other. I do hope that Zach looks into the sheriff's suggestion. I loved this story and want to read more about them.
