Holidays are always challenging.
The values of the prestigious Brooks family is at stake when drama enters into the festivities as relatives and love ones arrive.
Beginning with the NBA star Jason Whitfield and his wanna-be baby momma, who has her irons in the fire for singing sensation, Taylor Brooks. As Taylor struggles to find her place in the music industry, her cousin James Brooks Jr. announce his intentions to enter law school. The family is thrilled. As always Iris never ceases to amaze me.
This was a great Thanksgiving read with family drama, coming together, surprises and mystery.
James Jr. coming into his own and standing his ground.
Rene's brothers gotta love them.
Taylor and Jason great together.
What can I say about Patrice trying to take on Genesis she just didn't get it when it came to Bobby.
Don't want to give anything away. I'm just saying A Brooks' Thanksgiving is a great book and I truly enjoyed reading it.

I loved this book. It was great seeing the updates on all of the family. It was such real talk when the men talked to Jason while the ladies spoke to Taylor. It's funny I could see my group of lady friends doing that. There were a few twist and turns. I hope there are more books to come in this series. Keep up the good writing

Another that left me wanting more. I absolutely love these people Iris writes about. They are my friends and family. This was another book where i tried to slow down but couldnt put it down so it was finishes in 4 hours. Thank you Iris. You can write your tail off.

Gotta love these families!
The Brooks family has more secrets than carter has liver pills! Where does one begin with this story? The cross pollination by the brothers and uncles with each other's wives leaves an offspring situation only DNA can properly address. I love that this family loves one another, goes to the wall and back for each other and is protective with no apologies for being so!!!! Question? Will we see Patrice again after she has gotten treatment and will she turn out worse? Rene and her team of lady agents impressed me beyond belief. Another question? Is Renee's heritage Native American? I love Rene and Vernon together and how all members of all of these connected families mesh so well together!!!!!!! Thank you Iris I am reading to catch up getting introduced to your writings at this time let's me know just how many intriguing suspenseful novel I have missed out on enjoying. This book is an excellent read!

Loved This Book!
Before I get into all the grown ups I loved in this story, I just want to say, I love Anthony!! He is absolutely adorable. Now, what a fun, sexy and exciting book. I always love the fact that, even though the book might have a "main couple" we get so many other family members and their stories, it's like a mini movie. Beautiful, strong women, sexy alpha males and all the trouble that follows them, you know its gonna be a fantastic drama with a deliciously happy ending. A wonderful edition to the series and I can't wait for whatever Mrs. Bolling come out with next.

Luv it
I don't believe there is a book she has written that I don't absolutely love. Now there are some I do re-read more then others but, I look so forward to her next installment that is like going through some type of withdrawal when I don't read anything new for awhile.
This is another one of these situations, it is well written, it incorporate Tracey, JD, Carolyn & Prince LaVere into its little while not taking away from the over all story. I can't wait to read James Jr. & Princess Zsa Zsa story, because you can clearly see he has a mind like his father for politics.

Once I got started, I couldn't put it down. I was up all night reading this book. I would not make this my first book.of the series. I think a reader needs more background on the Brooks family to fully enjoy this book.
I loved the drama, the humor, the suspense, the loyalty, the family and friend support, the intelligence and wit of the characters. I can't think of anything I didn't enjoy about the Brooks family, their friends, and associates.
I'd definitely recommend this book and series to anyone looking to be thoroughly entertained.

Great zReaf
Well it took me a while to put everything in its place. Once I remember where everything fit. The story came together. I loved how you brought people from other books to tell this story and what a story. I know this can't be it. There is still to much to tell. There is to much of this family left to tell. Too many people who deserve for their story to told.

Great book!
I really enjoyed this story and the characters were very entertaining. The author takes you on a journey that unforgettable, the twists and turns and drama is just what you need. Ther was romance and a murder case solved as a romance reader I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed.

Good Read(s)
This was the last of the old Brooks family stories. I had forgotten how wild and dangerous they were. I read them all one after another over the last 3 days. Phew! We need a Bobby update Ms Bolling. An update on Genesis and Cannon too. Now I have to start over with the Heart series.

I loved how Ms. Bolling tied in all the unanswered questions from the Brooks Family Values Series. I have never laughed so much from her detailed imagery of those Rene’s younger brothers antics and Vernon being Vernon. Well done kudos

I love The Brooks family. Vernon and Rene finally getting married. It was great seeing James Jr becoming his own man. Glad Taylor and Jason got back together. Patrice finally got what she deserved. Can't wait to read the next book.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the storyline and characters. Vernon and Rene are a great match. It was good to read about their wedding and catch up with all Brooks family and friends.

A beautiful love story!
Rene and Vernon's story was amazing! We caught up with some previous characters and closed a few chapters. I love seeing the younger characters grow up like James Jr. Nicely done novel!

Always enjoy catching up w/the Brooks family and their ever growing circle of family and friends...but it was quite a busy storyline...and quite a few unexpected typos/editing issues. But as ALWAYS still looking forward to the next Bolling tale.

Vernon's Story
Great read! I enjoyed the entire series. Ms Billing does not disappoint. Her books have everything, strong characters, drama, romance and laugh out loud moments. Vernon and Rene are getting married if the families can survive Thanksgiving dinner.

I really hope this isn't the last.
This series has been an awesome find for me. I love this wrap up. Everything was well written and very special. I felt as if I was at the wedding. I was Genesis in the game room. Too much fun, I really hope this is not the last book.
