I read this as part of a graduate class for educators pursuing administrator licenses. As far as textbooks go, this has plenty of useful concepts and some useful models and examples. It is a little long-winded and technical at times, but thorough in its goals. I would have loved more anecdotes and practical application ideas.

This was a course reading for my Professional Supervision and Evaluation class. It was a bit hard core in certain areas, but there were really good ideas in it. The focus on collaboration for educators is a running theme through the entire text. We really need to tap into one of our biggest resources, each other.
