It's a school textbook. It's boring. I had to read it; therefore, it's going on here since it took up so much of my time. AARRGGHH!!

It does its job, hence the rating, but it's complete torture and slow going if stats are not your thing or you don't have any background knowledge.

Honestly not the worst textbook I've read. It was good and engaging up until halfway and then it repeated a lot. But for a school book, not bad!

Applying Educational Research aptly serves the interest of those conducting or learning about research in the field of education. The book glazes over the deeper history that yielded the current research practices. But it has a really helpful, comparison-like design and its concise enough to serve as a reference that should be carried through a career. It covers all the bases of typical research FAQs.
