Not so wholesome.

I really like this authors Christian fiction books. So I tried out this western series. I liked this series until the cussing and taking the Lord’s name in vain came in. So I would not say it’s clean and wholesome.
Nor … Can I say this is a Christian series. (Although I don’t think it’s meant to be. )
Because While there’s no explicit sex scene. There is cursing and blasphemy.
So 🙈 if you’re truly looking for clean and wholesome maybe this isn’t the one for you.

Engagement?

This was a good book written by Morris Fenris and it was a really good book. The Civil War, home engaged, a young man buying a ranch, a spoiled rich young woman, a companion, going to the ranch, she hates the ranch, realizing they don't love each other, meeting and leaving with someone new, setting a trap, discovery, finding out the truth, will there be a happy ever after? I would recommend this book to everyone. Buy this book and enjoy reading.

James Yancey

This was another very interesting story about James. He had gone but their old home and met. Young lady, Emma and asked her to marry him. He was on his way to California to see his brothers. Emma and Molly, her chaperone, traveled to California to meet James. Emma was not suited to the rough life and was not easily adapting . You will enjoy the problems and events that followed.

Brother #3

Civil war veteran, James Yancey, proposes to young Emma in Charleston. After buying a ranch in California, he sends for her. Orphaned Molly accompanies Emma on the long trip. James discovers Emma isn't exactly what he wanted in a bride, but Molly is. How will this all work out for everyone's happily ever after?

Anticipated the ending, but it good read.

Don't believe in writing a review, feel that should be left to recognized critics. The star rating system should be sufficient for most readers.
