Salvation in Chaos didn't work for me at all. The dialogue was terrible, the story was a mess and I had absolutely no connection to anyone in the story. There were editing issues and tons of issues with transitioning from one person to another. Half the time you feel like you missed something because it's either the next day or a week later. Overall this was not for me and I don't plan on continuing.

Sam wants to break away from the abusive club that she is forced to be a part of. Ratchet sees her and can't let her go and will do anything to save her from that life.

I am usually 100% on board with an insta connection novella but this one kind of missed it for me. I didn't feel their connection. A lot of it had a disconnect for me. There was a chapter where it was from Sam's POV and then in the last paragraph of the chapter it switched to Ratchet's POV with no warning, section break or page break. It was literally one paragraph from her POV and the next to his and it was confusing as all get out. This might be a case of its me not you but I just didn't connect with this one and I can't really explain it.

A fantastic action packed story!!

I really enjoyed this book, i had not heard of this author and decided to give it a go, it definitely is one I would read more off!!

The whole story was action packed and gripped me from the start, till the very end...I enjoyed all the characters and prayed for there HEA...might have done a silent dance when one character got what he deserved lol.

Definitely for me deserves 5 ⭐️ from me, I will definitely read more from this author.

This was book 1 in the "CKMC" series. This was a short quick read that I liked. Ratchet heads to "Bike Week" along with a brother looking for a good time. When he saves her from a drunk and give her a ride she drugs him and picks his pocket. Sam is running from the from the Hell Hounds MC. Sam is beaten and used and doesn't think she will survive much more. When she runs into him a week later she is right back where she started. But Ratchet knows exactly what's going on and he isn't going to rest until Sam is safe. This was my first time reading this author this book had all the things I like when reading about bikers hot sex and a lot of action. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

It's on - the opening scenes of Salvation in Chaos ignites a fast paced ride that keeps pace as we watch Sam and Ratchet discover not only each other but themselves.

I enjoyed getting to know the Chaos Kings world. I know the rival Hell Hounds are the one percent - diamond club (yep, I learned a new term) that survives in the criminal element, but it was refreshing to get to know the other side of motorcycle club life with the Chaos Kings. I thought the author's descriptions of bike culture, the type of bikes and the other added technical elements were interesting. I felt like that really gave the plot extra flourishes that made this story all the more real.

Salvation in Chaos has so much heart. Linny Lawless created such endearing characters that light up the page. I'm looking forward to the next book in the CKMC series.

Ratchet and Sam will draw you in to their world so deep that you feel the rumble of the bikes, smell the leather and taste the whiskey for yourself.
I was given a copy of Salvation in Chaos to review. I couldn’t stop reading! It only took a second for me to want Ratchet chasing after me. The pain, the scars, the heartache that you feel for Ratchet and Sam has you praying for their Happily Ever After. It makes you appreciate the brotherhood of the motorcycle clubs and their fierce protection of what’s theirs – good or bad. But, it’s the little things that have you turning the pages: the new friendships, the ‘first times’ they experience, something as simple as a cat… You won’t regret immersing yourself in the world of Ratchet and Sam.

This was a really good book! I really enjoyed myself reading it. At first I thought that I was going to have some problems with the way that the MC club treated Sam. I am not with people being treated like objects in any sense of the word. I hate it.

But luckily in this book Ratchet makes up for it. I love the way that he describes her and the way that she is the "Real that he never knew that he needed." Oh boy, can I get a swoon over here!
I can automatically see how the rest of the family will be needing a book.
This book was full of action and hot alpha male romance. I can't wait for the next book!

Two Broken Souls Find Each Other

Two broken souls find each other at Bike Week. Ratchet and Sam come from a horrible past. Love gives them a new look on their futures.
This was the first MC book that I read. I'm so happy that I gave it a chance and Linny introduced me to something new. This book will not disappoint you. I tried to read slower so the book wouldn't end but just couldn't put it down. I would love to hear more about the other brothers in the Chaos Kings.

Salvation in Chaos: CKMC Book 1

I really enjoyed this book. There was drama that keep it from being boring. I like Sam & Tanya & Kat. I hope there is more, I wanna see who Gunner ends up with. Can't wait to see what happens next in the story. I recommend this book.

This book started out really slow for me. It was hard to like the characters and get to know who they were. But the author turned it around and the characters became likable, the story became a page turner, I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen. The scenes between Sam and Ratchet were fan yourself hot! Started out as a 3 star but became a 4 star. This author is new to me, I will be reading more of her work.

I devoured this book! I couldn't put it down! I had never read anything by Linny Lawless before but I saw that this was an MC book and I really wanted to check it out. I'm so glad I did because it's amazing! This book is so awesome!

James "Ratchet"--is a guy that should scare the hell out of you between his size and wearing a cut from a local MC but underneath all of that is a heart of gold. He carries a lot of guilt over his mother but then he meets Samantha "Sam" and he finds new meaning. It also helps that his MC, the Chaos Kings, is different from the other local MC, the Hell Hounds.

Samantha "Sam"--is technically property of the Hell Hounds and meets Ratchet by chance. She's running away from her life when her path crosses with his. After one fateful night she disappears from his life only to be seen again with the Hell Hounds. The Hell Hounds think women are only good for one thing and one thing only. They beat them without a second thought.

After Ratchet and Sam paths cross again they find themselves in a whirlwind of drama but in the mist of that they both find things they are searching for. I couldn't put this book down. I had to know what happened next. I'll definitely be checking out more titles from Linny Lawless.

This is a new to me author and one I will definitely continue to follow and read her work. Ratchet and Sam was hot and I enjoyed reading how their relationship transpired. Sam is ‘owned’ by Sid and his club and would go above and beyond to get her back. Ratchet wants her for himself and to protect her. They go through so much together and it’s a relief when things start falling into place. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the next in the series as I need to know what’s happening with the Chaos Kings.

This is the first book in the Chaos Kings MC series by Linny Lawless. I’ve never read anything by this author before but I’m going to a signing she’ll be at so I figured I’d try one of her books. The story itself wasn’t bad but the writing was too mechanical. It seemed like the author was just listing things off of a checklist instead of incorporating them into a story.

A very entertaining and engaging read. Powerful, gritty and intense, the storyline grabs and keeps your attention easily. The characters are complex and the emotions deep. Sam and Ratchet's romance is filled with drama, action, passion, and sweetness. I'm posting a totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.

Salvation in Chaos is the first book in the Chaos Kings MC series and debut novel from author Linny Lawless. I love reading motorcycle club romances with their naughty unforgiving alpha men. Unlike other MC books, the Chaos is not a one percent club, and the men hold regular jobs. They do have sweet-butt, but it's not as graphic as some other biker romances.

In this story, Ratchet and his club brother, Gunner, are in Maryland for bike week. They grab a drink at a local bar and Ratchet hits on a cute brunette named Samantha. He brings her back to his hotel room, but she skips out on him, along with his cash. He sees her a week later on a rival club's lap. He soon realizes that issues are going on and he decides to help her. Now, hiding from the other club, Sam stays with Ratchet under his protection.

The storyline is sweet, with a touch of action and drama. Looking forward to the next in the series.

I enjoyed all of the action and heat in this book and look forward to reading book 2 which is already available. This is the first time I've read this author and there is definitely a promising future based on this book.

This biker book had me interested from the start. The language, violence and sex may be too explicit for some, but I enjoyed the raw escape Salvation in Chaos offered.

The dark underbelly of the biker scene has it's hooks into Sam and she can't escape. Sam and Ratchet are drawn to each other, but Sam's past cannot be outrun. I loved Sam's strength and Ratchet's determination and caring nature. I felt for these characters.

I would have liked a few more surprises or twists, however, I enjoyed this novel and will read the next book in the series.

Salvation in Chaos by Linny Lawless is the first book in her CKMC (Chaos Kings MC) series. In this first book we get Ratchet’s story and it starts out with a bang! On his way to Bike Week he sees a woman he wants for himself. Imagine his surprise when she drugs him and steals his money. He expects to never see her again.

Sam has been the property of the Hell Hounds MC for a long time and is used to being used and abused. When she meets Ratchet, she feels things she never had before, but runs. When they meet again, Ratchet promises to keep her safe, but Sam knows what is following her. But Ratchet makes her feel safe and loved. But with both of their histories, can they find a way to each other?

When danger follows Sam, can Ratchet keep her save her in time or will he find himself in danger as well? An emotional rollercoaster that was steamy and suspenseful.

3.5 stars. Happy reading!

I had a difficult time reading this book. After 2 chapters, I honestly wanted to put it down. The author was extremely mechanical in her writing to the point that it felt more like a check list of items that needed to be included rather than an emotionally gut-wrenching telling of two damaged individuals. James and Sam had so much potential as did their story. I wanted more angst and heart-wrenching scenes. Their relationship, both the early interactions and the progression, all just seemed too easy. I also felt like the fight for Sam's freedom was too simple. I would imagine if she truly was property of a rival motorcycle club, they wouldn't have let her live so freely for weeks with James nor would they have been so easy on her once they took her back. In addition to these plot elements, I did not find the characters to have much depth. It was difficult to connect with them and invest in their struggle to stay together.

This is the first book in the CKMC series and can be read as a standalone. To begin, I was intrigued from the beginning to the end. Ratchet and Sam’s relationship is unique, but damn did Sid piss me off. The more he tried to force Sam into his world, the more I rooted for Ratchet to protect her, and keep her safe from him. Both Ratchet and Sam have been through quite and bit, and it’s a relief to see that they try to lean on one another to get past the bad in their lives. I look forward to reading book two. Not sure quite yet who Linny will talk about next, but can’t wait.

I really enjoyed reading this book but what's not to like when a hot biker name Ratchet comes to the rescue of a girl name Sam who's been abuse from another bikers club, a lot happens to this girl and Ratchet finally claims her and its a love story between these 2 people. Can't wait to read another one from this author.

I like the story premise. What I did not like is chaos should have been a one persent club to it would have added more to the story. I liked sam and ratchet. But it just did not make sense in some parts of the story.
