Best collection of steamy holiday scenes ever!! Whether you know any of the authors or they are all new to you this collection allows you to get a taste of each of their writing styles while keeping you hooked by incredible short stories themselves. All of them will make you feel the holiday spirit in their own way and if they happen to not work for you just skip to the next one which I bet will make you happy. Absolutely wonderful anthology that I recommend to all!! I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
I actually loved this collection! I have read the other two, and the last one had a few stories I wasn't super impressed with. This one didn't disappoint. There were one or two stories I skipped as I needed context/backstory, but the others were easily readable and very hot. I really enjoyed reading this collection, and will be checking out most of the series that the scenes in here were from. 4 stars.

Plenty of stuffing stockings, kissing under the mistletoe, and unwrapping will keep you nice and toasty through the New Year! Contributing authors are LA Boruff, Skye MacKinnon, Laura Greenwood, Debbie Cassidy, EM Moore, Riley Walker, Rae Tina, Tabitha Barret, Jaliza A Burwell, RM Walker, Helen Scott, TB Mann, Lacey Carter Anderson, Kristen Banet, Bea Paige, Caia Daniels, Athena Phoenix, HA Wills, Mila Young, CR Jane, Nova Blake, EE Andrews, Dia Cole, Skyler Andra, Joely Sue Burkhart, CA Storm, and Karlee Hunt. I am working my way through the pages (sheets). I will be adding reviews over time.
A Dannan Story by LA Boruff, 4 stars Jen is a dragon shifter with one other Sarkany and two fae. After celebrating the winter solstice celebration, she is trying to explain why the following week will include a Christmas dinner with her family that is equally important during this time of year. Even though they have settled into their relationship and love one another, there is still much for her men to learn about her human side. All discussion is put on hold as her men watch her remove her hairpins and ready herself for bed. Dinner is still a week away tonight there are many more enjoyable things to be done. I missed Doryu in this scene, however Jen, Alexander, and Roan managed to have plenty of fun without him. This is one steamy hot evening with a touch of realistic bedroom complication that provides a giggle. Love Jen's last thought before sleep! Can't wait.
Below the Baubles by Skye MacKinnon and Laura Greenwood, 4 stars When a 'garden gnome' spy shows up asking Macey for help against Knecht Ruprecht, Saint Nicholas' servant that punishes the naughty children. He has actually become real and is attacking humans in Germany. Duty calls the wardens, so Macey and her men head to Heidelberg for the holidays to stop the attacks. But just because they have a job to do, doesn't mean that they can't enjoy their time in the hotel! This is an adorable holiday addition to the Seven Warden's series. It's cute with a sweet outcome. It's also sexy. The bathroom time is hot! Sorry no Luc but the rest were sensational.
Mistletoe Mischief by Riley Walker, 4 stars Amanda is an author but her latest book isn't one of her normal series. It was inspired by a Halloween masquerade and an unforgettable night with three men, Masters V, J, and W. She remembers every touch, their voices, their eyes behind their masks. Now she has received another invitation to spend the evening with the three. She knows it will be another memorable, inspirational event. I loved and hated this story. I loved Amanda. I loved the men. I loved the mystery of the masquerade. I hated that the three asked for a sex-only, no strings attached relationship. I need emotional involvement. I assume that the full story would have the Masters and Mistress X (Amanda) breaking their own rules and falling in love. At least that's how I have it in my imagination. I have to say, I loved how the story got its title!
Just The Once by RM Walker, 4 stars Sally lived in a marriage where her husband destroyed her piece by piece. He didn't value her, cheating on her time and time again until her love was gone and her self-confidence was destroyed. When she finally had enough, she left, divorced him. and started a new life. As part of that, she decided to treat herself to a once in a lifetime night with an escort service. She booked one night with four men and it turned out to be more than she could have ever imagined. But the morning brought unexpected truths and the surprises didn't stop there. I enjoyed this tremendously. It was hot, hot, hot. Shawn, Ben, and Murray were exactly what Sally needed, physically and emotionally. It went beyond incredible sex. These guys were supportive, encouraging, and kind. Aaron, not so much but I can't wait to see his next move. His first impression was not a good one but he has the potential to be my favorite by the end. I need more!
Cherry Picking by TB Mann, 5 stars Brad, a pro hockey player can't make it home for the Holidays. Feeling nostalgic after speaking to his brother and his family, Brad jumps at the chance to catch up one evening with his childhood friend Stephen. They met at an upscale burlesque club where they were joined by Stephen's college friend Grace. After an evening of easy conversation and watching the sexy dancers, enjoying intimate touches, and plenty of flirting the three decide to continue their evening together at Stephen's penthouse. An amazing night follows where Brad and Stephen both encounter feelings and cross boundaries they never imagined. But when morning dawns Brad is unsure if their friendship will reach a new level or be destroyed. I have been looking forward to this story since reading Changing on the Fly. I was not disappointed and can't wait for more! Brad and Stephen were so real. Their nervousness, confusion, excitement. There is so much between these two. I'm not sure how or even if Grace fits in or if she was just the conduit but these two definitely belong together and definitely need a third. I loved it and look forward to their continuing story.
A Mortal's Choice by Lacey Carter Anderson, 4 stars Alice lost almost everything in one night, in a tragic accident. She lost her parents, her fiance, her hope and happiness. She almost lost her life and would have if it weren't for three men rescuing her. As it is she still walks with a limp and bears the scars both physically and emotionally. Now ten years later on her way home from the grocery store, she comes across a broken down car. The same road, the same men who rescued her. Now it's time to return the favor and rescue them. However, once again, Aeron, Ethan, and Sage have come to save Alice. I really enjoyed this story. Lacey has a way of blending the normal and paranormal worlds to make for believable, entertaining reads. Alice is so broken and the immediate healing that begins with the return of her rescuers is welcome. Great chemistry and an overall feel-good read.
A Kingston Christmas by Kristen Banet, 4 stars Riley and the Pride celebrate the Holiday in the steamiest, sexiest way possible. Hot and heavy entertainment.
Star of Christmas by Bea Paige, 5 stars Five years have passed since Louisa met and fell for Bryce, Hudson, and Max and they are returning to the chalet where they first fell in love. So much has happened since then, so much has changed. They are married now and have a lively son together. But the one thing that hasn't changed is how good they are together. Their friendship is deeper, their love fuller than ever. They've created a beautiful life. Now they are taking a brief getaway before Christmas to enjoy each other the way they do best. This is sweet, sexy, and exactly the story I wanted for these four. I love the little holiday snapshot into their happy world. This was a great series and catching up with then was everything I could have asked for. Off the charts hot, sweeter than ever, and a coming surprise. I admit I was rooting for that from the beginning. I hope we get another full story in the future.
Boys of Summer by Caia Daniels, 5 stars Knox is the newest member of Madame Summerlan West's harem but the night he was promised to have his time with her alone, one of her boys showed up. Instead, he was instructed to keep her beautiful servant Luna busy. He's been 'busy' dominating her ever since and she may have just stolen his heart. Now for Luna's Christmas present Madame has promised to fulfill her fantasy and Knox will become a member of Mistress Luna's harem for the evening. Knox is a switch, so even though he's nervous, he's excited. Being a submissive has never been so good! Hot, hot, hot. Luna and Knox have something special that comes off the page to ensnare you. The dom play is streamy, Knox giving himself over as the sub is sexy, and the trust and love these two have for one another just amps everything up. Enjoyed every second.
Tempting the Huntress by Athena Phoenix, 4 stars Arcadia is taking her place as the Huntress Supreme like the females of her family before her. She is the leader of the worldwide organization that protects animal shifters from Poachers and will have four consort at her side. Worried that her love Chase won't be chosen as one of her consorts she is having a heart to heart with Master Trainer Oliver, her mother's dearest. When she asks him for personal information and advice, he gives her her mother's journal which contains her account of the very situation worrying Arcadia. It's a look back in time to a beautiful love story, saying goodbye to one life as duty takes the lovers on different paths, and proves the rightness of the consorts. This is a good excerpt from Kalen's journal. Not being familiar with the story, I don't feel as though I got the full impact but it was sweet, emotional, and entertaining nonetheless.
Ghosts of Christmas Past by CR Jane, 5 stars Juliet always feels a little nostalgic and sad at Christmas. As a time traveler, she's loved passionately but she always loses her loves. James. Landon, Will, and Gabriel each made Christmas special but now she's alone again. Unable to stop herself, she has bought ornaments that remind her of each of her men. After decorating the tree she spends time reflecting and remembering her earlier Christmases, particularly a special year with Landon. Lamented Pasts was one of my favorite books of the year. It was hauntingly beautiful, romantic, and heartbreaking. This excerpt belongs with this series. This scene captured me, heart and soul. I adore Juliet and her men, and Landon is one of my very favorites. His all-consuming love and passion for Juliet are apparent in this story. It thrilled me and left me wanting so much more.
Queen Take a Late Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhart, no rating On the way to visit the Crow Queen Shara and her Blood are startled by an impromptu visit from a rhinoceros and a unicorn. Xochitl has snuck away from Mayte. When Mayte returns the child to her realm, she stays to enjoy the day with Shara and her newest blood member Vivian, a phoenix. A Dom, a submissive, and a Queen. This is an extremely hot read but as F/F is not appealing to me, I didn't rate it. I have no doubt that readers who like their women intimate will love this story.
Sweet delicious holiday goodness. This book came out three years ago. I read it and enjoyed it. If you are in for some sexy holiday fun with multiple merry men in the mix, this is one to try out.
There are many different authors who give us tasty erotica in little sweet packages. I picked up this book specific Joely Sue Burkhart. She provides another look into her reverse harem Vampire world in "Queen Takes a Late Christmas". Mayte, Shara, and Vivian all make an appears. This short and sweet piece gives a nice feel good for the holiday season.

Karlee Hunt- Holiday Seduction- I can't wait to read more about Gina and the Chase brothers. So steamy and their story seems like it is going to be fantastic!
The subtitle clearly states "scenes that get to the point" so don't read these if you have some odd hangup about sex scenes.... because that's basically what they all are. However, these talented authors still manage to convey buildup to the books these stories belong with. While I did read and enjoy all of these small gems, I only wrote individual reviews for some of them. If you enjoy fanning yourself while you read and are looking for a way to get introduced to some great books, read this anthology. I'll leave you with these while I go stick my head in a freezer:
Below the Baubles- This short story belongs with the Seven Wardens series. Skye MacKinnon and Laura Greenwood do a fantastic job in both letting this be a story in and of itself, and linking it in with the books. The sex scenes were hot and the mini adventure was entertaining and well-thought.
No Adulting Allowed intro- Is a story supposed to be both wholesome and steamy at the same time? This one is! Aliza A. Burwell did a great job of making me feel like I was looking in at a (very sexy) slice of life while still seamlessly introducing the characters.
Queen Takes a Late Christmas- Not going to lie, Joely is one of the reasons I wanted to read this anthology. Her Their Vampire Queen series is masterful. We get a glimpse of Xochitl with this story, as well as more delight from Shara and her harem. Heads up, this is F/F (and F). If that is really not your thing, you might not want to read this. However, you'd be missing out.
Alabaster's Gift- Well, well well. CA Storm mostly certainly knows how to write a very steamy scene. I'm greatly anticipating the adventures of the characters on Kryptos (of which this was a prelude to) and the furthering on of the tale of Amantha. There was not only sex but, also humor and a glimpse at a relatable friendship in this short story.
I read four of the authors stories and have written this review in the order read which is also the order that these authors appear in the book.
A Dannon Story by L.A. Boruff: Well, this one was just ok for me. I felt a little disconnect even though I know that’s not the case. I wish all the guys were there. Also, there was a little too much of explaining her thoughts, while they were supposed to be having sexy time. But, it was entertaining and I like having so many snipets of stories from all these wonderful authors.
Ghosts of Christmas Pasts bonus scene by C.R. Jane: I swear, I will never get enough of Ms. Jane’s story telling and she picked the perfect guy for this one. Landon is my favorite from her book Lamented Pasts and he didn’t disappoint here. Intruly love how he is with Juliet. I’m addicted to their connection and their steam. This was a perfect flash back for our girl and left me sad that we might have to wait so long for the next book. Thank you for this little extra taste.
Claiming Her Mates, extended bonus scene by Dia Cole: This just reminded me how much I loved this book. I think this scene was at the end of the book, but, it’s so hot and so much fun, I was thrilled to be refreshed with this story. Havana is a great main character and the guys each offer something different and fantastic to the relationship. I’m really excited for the last part of this story.
Queen Takes a Late Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhart: While I did like having girl time in this, I missed the guys. But, our little unicorn is so darn sweet and I love catching up with her and Mayte. Also, I like that even though this was a short story, we were able to gain a little extra info about the blood and the tree. I’m also thankful to get a little something new to help while waiting for the new book.
All your Christmases will arrive at once, with this steamy anthology.
Once again the Between The Sheets authors, have created nonsense scenes which are deliciously naughty. If you’ve been nice all year, it’s now time to flip that around and join these RH authors on the naught list.
What’s great about this collection is that the stories can be read as a stand-alone. You might just find some new books and authors who’s stories you’ll want to keep unwrapping, well after the holiday season is over.
Don’t forget that these stories are only available for a limited time. So bump this to the top of that Christmas list and have yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

💝Below The Baubles by Skye Mackinnon and Laura Greenwood This short story from the Seven Wardens series will have you wanting to join Macey (or at least be Macey) and her men in the jacuzzi, and their sexy times don’t just stop with one scene either.
This review is strictly for the short story Queen Takes a Late Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhardt. It was a yummy story that started with Queen Mayte chasing her delightful daughter Xochityl through a portal in the trees that connect their kingdoms. Xochityl wanted to show Queen Shara her unicorn self and her first blood. Now if you haven't read Burkhardt's Queen series yet, wth is wrong with you?! It's an extraordinary series with strong female characters that will make you swoon.
This is a beautiful scene between Shara, Mayte and Vivian, and I'm not a huge fan of F/F/F fiction...But I am a fan of Burkhardt and she does it with class and dignity. I don't usually care for short stories because I always want more. But this story was perfect, and for once I was left thinking I don't need any more.
L.A.Boruff, Skye MacKinnon, Laira Greenwood, Debbie Cassidy,E.M. More, Riley Walker, Rae Tina, Tabetha Barret, Jaliza A. Burell, R.M. Walker, Helen Scott, TB Mann, Lacey CArter Anderson, Kristen Banet, Bea Paige, Caia Daniels, Athena Phoenix, H.A. Wills, Mila Young, C.R. Jane, Nova Blake, E.E. Andrews, Dia Cole, Skyler Andra, Joely Sur Burkhart, C.A. Storm, Karlee Hunt.
these authors all contributed stories to make this fantastic book collection. Each story will keep your interest until the end.
this is a review for author Joely Sue Burkhart contributed Queen Takes A Late Christmas: When a unicorn,Xochityl, comes thru the heart tree in Eurika Springs Shara contacts her sub Queen Mayte since it is her daughter. Before Mayte leaves for home Shara treats here to her own special Christmas present, a three-some. Merry Christmas!
This review pertains solely to Joely Sue Burkhart's "Queen Takes a Late Christmas." I received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.
What can I say? I love anything JSB puts out until the world. This is a short, sweet, sexy "girl time" (ha!) story.
I'm thrilled to see Vivian get some more page time, and I always enjoy when Mayte makes an appearance, as she gives Shara something none of her Blood really can. Their time together always warms my cold little heart.
Also, as much as I never want Shara's story to be over, I want little Xochitl to grow up and have her own series, because that would be so awesome. Don't know if it'll ever happen, but a girl can dream (about unicorns).
Holidays Between the Sheets is a collection of short scenes that get to the stuff....between the sheets. Some feature characters/places I haven't read yet, and some feature characters that are in already published/established series. Since I have finished Debbie Cassidy's Chronicles of Arcana series recently, I jumped straight to reading her scene as it revisits Wila Bastion and her harem. It was fun to read about them again, and get a snippet of their life after the end of the series. I will be going back to read the other scenes as I finish those authors' series, or to read the ones that are new series. I won a copy of this collection in an online contest.
With Christmas right around the corner, these authors came together to write these extra, steamy scenes that are set in/near Christmas and all of which are collected in this antho. Most likely, these will continue on to be transformed into a series and/or an on-going series. All of these are from the minds of talented authors; however, I have to single out 1 in particular aptly titled Ghosts of Christmas Past from the Timeless Affection series by C.R. Jane. Newcomers who read that scene, would want to pick up book 1, Lamented Pasts. P.S. Landon is my favorite and I have a feeling he'll become popular.
Review for "Queen Takes A Late Christmas" part of the Holidays Between the Sheets Anthology
This is a very hot short story from Joely Sue Burkhart that centers on Queen Shara, her sister queen Mayte, and a phoenix spirit from the Their Vampire Queen series. This is an erotic, well written story with a Christmas-related theme. I'm not really into F/F liaisons, but If you enjoy F/F action, I think you will love this story.
I received a complimentary copy of this story from the author. This is my honest, voluntary review.
Macy and her men- This is a great short story to read. We follow Macey and her men to defeat some evil. They have to travel to another town to stop Knecht Ruprecht. He is a powerful being so how do they stop him from killing innocents. You will need to read this short story to find out. There are some smexy times with Macey and her men that gets hot and steamy. You do not want to miss out on that. Overall this is a awesome short read.
Whooo hooo a smoking hawt reverse harem filled collection of Christmas stories by various authors.
This review is specifically for Joely Sue Burkhart’s offering. Queen takes a late Christmas. If you haven’t read Joely’s ‘Their Vampire Queen’ series... stop what your doing and go an read that series!!! This is a continuation of that series and you don’t want #Spoilers!! My only grumble is the same as always... I WANT MORE!!!
Whoa. This is a hot anthology from some of my favorite authors. I was really excited to see some of my favorite names (and characters) in this anthology. If you're looking for a hot holiday read, this is it. Just don't be surprised if you get a little warm ;-) All of the stories are fabulous and I was introduced to a few that I haven't read before, so I will be adding to my TBR pile. Awesome anthology!
Another awesome collection! Love this edition of Between the Sheets. This collection is stories that can be read as a stand-alone's. Some of my favorite authors have written amazing stories! I've even when on to reading some of the other authors books since I loved what they had in these collections. Also, per the title "Scenes that get to the point" you will defiantly not be disappointed! NSFW! But damn its hot!
This review is for Queen Takes A Late Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhart.
Alright, that was, wow. This novella is a continuation from the series, so if you're updated, you never want to miss this one. Also, can't wait for little Xochitl to grow up and have her own story. I heart me some unicorns!
I received an ARC from the author and am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
OMG this is so hot and sexy. These authors have all come together to give you a spicy treat for the holidays and oh is it amazing. Yes they are short stories but very detailed and will leave you breathless and craving more. I recommend this to everyone because a little spice now and then is what makes the world go around right.
This review is for Joely Sue Burkhart's story in this anthology. Since I have been obsessively consuming all of the stories including Shara and her blood I have opened up to a whole new wonderful world of reading! This one does not disappoint. I have been waiting for a scene with her female blood and this one includes her Sib as well. What a wonderful unwrapped present! Enjoy!
This review is for Ghosts of Christmas Past by C.R. Jane.
This short story is about Juliet and Landon from Lamented Pasts. We get Juliet's memory of a steamy Christmas Eve with Landon. It's hot and it's great getting a little teaser of Landon, I love his character. Can't wait for book 2.
I absolutely adore CR Janes Lamented Pasts. My favorite of her books. So spending some more time with Juliet and Landon was heaven. And that time between the sheets...oh yeah! Fantastic and can’t wait to read some more.
Below the Baubles by Skye MacKinnon and Laura Greenwood This read is a story set between books 5 & 6. It was a shortie with an intriguing set of events - Germany, some kind of traditional character came to life and it's not pleasant! Be prepared for some HOT HOT acton in the end - loved it!
Wow!!! Amazing stories that definitely lesson your need for a fire in the fireplace!!! Really enjoyed getting a bonus scene from Lamented Pasts! Landon is sooo Hot!!! Found a few authors I’ve never read that I loved and plan on following ❤️ Heat up your winter and buy this book!!!
So far this just relates to Queen takes a late Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhart. Honestly it was a let down for me as it is only f/f/f and I don’t read those scenes, I just skip them. It was cute to see Xochitl though.
Once more our authors have made delicious sexy steamy naughty scenes based around the holiday celebrations. They have ceased to fail yet on making these amazing short stories that truly leave you craving, wanting more and stuck taking cold showers.
A Review of Queen Takes a Late Christmas OMG, this book gave me all the feels. But at the same time it is not something you should read at work (spoken from personal experience), so hot.
I just finished queen takes later Christmas by Joely Sue Burkhart ugh so good!!! I need more story’s like that! Can’t wait to get the rest of these stories.
