Finding Peace

Rate this book
Til death do they part Tina Cooper is a young mom running from a dangerous past. With fresh scars, broken bones, and only the clothes on their backs, she and her daughter escape from a man who’d rather kill them than let them go.Taking refuge in a small town hidden by forest and mountains, they find themselves adopted by a loud and crazy family, and though Tina knows not to trust anyone, somehow, she and her daughter grow to love the amazing women who plant roots so deep in their hearts, it’s hard to consider running again. They’ll run one day. They must. But today isn’t that day.Today, she has a date with Sexy Store Guy and a bunch of lies to unravel before she trips up and puts her daughter at risk.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ok, it’s official. Aiden is my fav!!! I thought Jimmy was, but I just fell in love with Aiden!! Emilia does that to you. She makes you fall in love with the characters every time. Then she gives you a little suspense to make your heart skip a few beats. I can’t help myself but to keep going on this Series & then on to the spinoffs!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Every now and again you find an author that brings all of the elements of an exciting, emotional, suspenseful read that just knocks your socks off, and she does it again and again and again. This author has brought me to my knees, made me cry, laugh, choke, want to lash out, gasp and everything in between. This time she does it with Tina and Aiden. The brooding, quiet, laid back Kincaid, who claims to be his mother's favorite because she has no idea just how dark and dirty her sweet baby is. Yes he hides it well. . . but not from everyone. This time, this woman, this beautiful baby girl that is his heart and soul all wrapped up in sweetness, his Smalls. . . her Biggie. It's no easy feat to bring down a Kincaid man but when they fall they fall hard. For Aiden?!? Hell he may be the quiet one but he is far from the mild mannered, sweet boy his mom thinks him to be. He will do whatever it takes to protect his Smalls and the woman that has restored peace in his heart and soul because there is no option. He will protect them from the horrible past, one that will never destroy what they have or stop their future. . . and in the meantime we will be entertained by this wild and crazy, close and protective clan and their antics⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I love Evie, Tina and Aiden! Nothing is sexier than a big, badass man melting over a little girl and that's exactly what Aiden does. The way he takes to Evie is incredible and I love the way he takes care of Tina. Tina definitely deserved a happy ever after and I could not be happier that she found it with Aiden! This book will make you laugh, cry, curse and hold your breath and it's an incredible journey! I love Emilia and how she makes each character come to life. When you read her books you're not just reading, you're right there living the story with the characters too.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well, I feel like Nelly. Emilia fooled me into thinking Aiden was a quiet, clean cut kinda guy. Wrong, all wrong! Passionate and delightfully dark better describes him. Also, Tina is written so incredibly badass. Calling her a Momma Bear doesn’t do her justice. Loved it, as I do everything in this series and Survivors!

Spoilers ahead

A couple days ago I saw this teaser on Facebook

“Count them out for me, Smalls.”
“One. two. Fee…”
I stop in my tracks, flattening my back against the concrete wall and I listen to Aiden count with my daughter.
The girls and I split up in the hall; Kit and Iz going in search of their husbands.
I creep along the hall, working on my ninja stealth again, and this time it’s a success. I hit the end of the hallway to find Evie sitting on the floor near the front desk, her legs bent in front of her, her arms wrapped around her legs and her chin resting on her knees, and Aiden lying on his stomach in front of her, a nail polish bottle clasped in his left hand, the tiny brush pinched between the fingers of his right hand as he paints her toenails and she counts.
“One. two. Fee.”
“Mmmhmm.”
“…Five. Six. Seven.”
Aiden looks up mid paint stroke, his grin high as his dancing eyes study my daughter. “You forgot four, honey.”

It was so cute I immediately tracked this book down and took a giant leap of faith by reading a book from an unknown to me author and without safety details but thankfully it worked out in the end.

Tina is on the run with her young daughter from a the child's horribly abusive and controlling father. She's moved from town to town but finally settles and makes friends with the Kincaid's. There's one brother she hasn't met, the one her daughter loves. At the grocery she once again runs into a sexy guy she once had a convo with( these things apparently took place in the previous books which I didn't read) He asks her out and she agrees to a date with him.(this encounter was a bit weird tbh) Unfortunately her daughter gets sick so her date gets stood up. Imagine her surprise to realize her daughter's "boyfriend" and her friend's brother is none other than her almost date.

Aiden is the trainer to his fighter brothers and while he's a skilled fighter himself himself he doesn't want the limelight. He'd seen Tina briefly before and is thrilled at the opportunity to actually talk to her and ask her out. That meet however turns into an epic disaster that fortunately gave Aiden everything he didn't know he wanted. He gets the shock of his life to realize that his family's friend "Tina" , the woman who stood him up and the mother of the little girl he loves are actually the same person. When Tina's ex returns Aiden is more than willing to shed blood for his woman and the daughter of his heart

*The beginning (and probably throughout the entire book) had a bit of immaturity. I'm actually not sure of the characters ages but it feels NA which is out of my age bracket lol. The jokes and convos felt a little on the NA side but I still enjoyed it for the most part

*I won't say this is a standalone, I didn't read any of the previous books so I was a bit lost in terms of secondary characters and a bit of the backstory between Aiden and the daughter of the h.

*Aiden melted my heart. I'm not quite 100% invested in the romance between him and Tina but his love for her daughter made this book for me. He's probably handsdown the best "dad" I've ever read in a romance and Evie wasn't even his daughter. They were very, very sweet together

*I love children in romances which is why I took a chance on this one. Evie was such a sweetheart and she wasn't a plot device. She had a solid role in the book that just pulled it together

*The h was ok but she honestly didn't stand out in any way and actually acted like an idiot a couple times

*The Kincaid's are pretty close knit and the previous mcs as well as future mcs are featured heavily here which is partly why this isn't good as a standalone. The antics of the girls were hilarious and added some humorous moments to the story

*The H's situation was pretty graphic in the first few pages of the book but when her child's father reared his detestable head the wrap up was done quickly and he was carted off to jail.

All in all I took a shot and it paid off but the other books in this series just aren't my type so this may be the last I see of the Kincaid's but Aiden was definitely worth it.

No OW drama( H actually only briefly mentioned anything about his sexual past)
OM drama as the H's ex returns for her and her daughter, he's dealt with very quickly however
Graphic and bloody scene of domestic violence

A really good romance with a hint of action and angst in a couple of places, but mostly full of family and fun times. Plenty of steamy sex scenes, but they do take a back seat to the story. It's well written and entertaining. Tina is running from an abusive ex and has changed her and her daughter's names and has settled in a small town. She get involved with the Rollin' On women at the local gym and meets Aiden and they are both instantly attracted. This romance is very slow burn to start with. I will say this author is so talented, that you feel you are right in the room with the characters watching every little bit of banter. LOL.

You really should read the series from the beginning, to get the multitude of side characters and family members straight in your head. If you don't want to do that, the story does stand alone as a contained romance. I admit I put this down half way through a few weeks ago, then picked it up again this morning to finish it. The family owns a gym and many characters are MMA fighters. A great series well worth reading, as are all this author's books. 4.5 stars.

I have been waiting on pins and needles for this book and it was so worth the wait!! Finding Peace is the ultimate swoon worthy romance! If you're like me you've devoured the first three books in this series (if you haven't, go do that now because you don't want to miss out on those!) you've probably been impatiently waiting for Aiden and Tina to finally meet, and it was entirely worth the wait.

Aiden is entirely wrapped around the little finger of Evie, the daughter of his sister in law's friend. He's yet to meet the adorable little girl's mother though. The bond between Aiden and Evie, better known as Biggie and Smalls, is so incredibly precious. Their bond is the perfect example of what I LOVE in books with single parents. She may not be his by blood, but that's his little girl no matter what. As if Aiden was already absofreakinglutely perfect enough with his huge heart, he's also (don't tell Bobby I said this) the KING of romance and heat.

I've adored Tina since she was first introduced, but she's remained quite the mystery. We finally learn Tina's story, and I have to say, after what she's been through I love her even more. She's the true definition of a strong woman and a good mother. Aiden and Tina together were so incredible. From the sweet moments to the down right setting the pages on fire, they are by far one of my favorite book couples!

idc idc they're royalty

--------------------------‐----------------------------

I was so curious about this book, and I really didn't know what to expect, but OH. MY. GOD.

I literally didn't know anything about Aiden, other than that he was grumpy and quite, but this man really ended up melting my heart, more than already was after I saw his relationship with Evie. My favorite parts of this book if I'm being honest.

And Tina... God, I'm so happy she and Evie found a safe place with a family that loves them. She deserves it. After the first stories I know that these books are full of strong and badass women, but Tina outsold them. All the things she had to go through to save her and her daughter's life... I love her even more.

*I think this book is missing some trigger warnings.

Tina is on the run from her rich, well off, verbally abusive and physically abusive 'almost' husband. With her your daughter Evie in tow. She moves from town to town, moves as soon as she feels the risk of being found to great. Finally she may have a place to lay low for a while. She's made friends but more her friends love her and her daughter. The Kincaids are a big clan of protective, loving men and women. There is one brother though she hasn't met yet. Aiden. The one her daughter loves. She calls him Biggie to her Smalls.

Aiden has met a girl he cant get out of his mind, Sarah, at the local grocery. He has a date with her but he gets stood up. He also has yet to meet the mom of the little girl, Evie, who he has fallen in love with. Tina. When he shows up at his brothers house and finds Sarah trying to leave with Evie, all hell is about to break loose!

When Aiden, the family protector, learns what she is running from he vows to keep her safe, her and Evie, enlisting his brothers. What he never expects is her being followed and not by her husband, a night out with his 'sisters' raise the risk for all.

I really enjoyed this. The ending a little maybe far fetched, to me, but it was still good. Evie is a sweetie who I want to have a book of her in the future LOL

The book was such an amazing read. You can't help but fall in love with the characters. Been waiting for this book to be out and now that it is over, I'm just hungry for more. Finding Peace Book 4

This is Aiden and Tina’s story and it doesn’t disappoint. There’s a lot of humour in this one, add Evie (Smalls) to the mix and we get a whole lot of fun. I can just hear 3 year old Evie asking for her cawfee every morning.

Aiden (Biggie), is the quiet, middle brother of Bobby and Jimmy, he’s a fighter too and as accomplished but he doesn’t want to compete, his skill is in training his brothers. He’s happy, quiet, easy going and keeps his head down but when he meets Tina he’s ready to give up his bachelor days and ready to roll on in to love as we start to see a more playful side of Aiden.

Tina and Evie are new to town and we first meet them when Kit hires Tina, a photographer in Finding Victory to take photos of her for a wedding present for her fiancé Bobby and it isn’t long till the gang meet Tina and Evie and are adopted by this large crazy family. All except Aiden, well they do meet in a supermarket and instantly feel a spark but don’t exchange names and phone numbers then due to various situations over a few months they keep missing each other and drama and comedy follow.

But once again danger lurks for all the Rollers in this one and are Tina and Evie who they say they are!

Did a whole reread on this series!!!

Aiden is the protector of the family!!! Always quiet but ready to go through battle to protect those he loves.

Tina is a single mom who is hiding from her past. Her daughter is just the cutest thing ever!!!!

Aiden and Tina had a funny beginning 🤣🤣. I loved the way Aiden and Evie became instantly close. Is like they knew that they were meant to be family.

Tina had no choice but to jump on the plan!!!!

POV - Dual POV between Tina and Aiden, with a couple of chapters from others

Aiden (H) - The brooding and most mysterious Kincaid brother that has a serious weakness for little Evie that's stolen his heart, though we've seen him through the last two books somehow miss out on meeting her mom, who he finally meets after being stood up on a date by her.

Tina (h) - The timid single mom that is newest to the Kincaid clan, she's on the run from her abusive ex and is just looking to lie low. She's immediately taken with Aiden, but has very low self-esteem and likes to make decisions that are a little head-scratching to me.

Trigger Warning - The very beginning of this story shows Tina trying to escape her ex Sean, and there is serious physical abuse, including the use of a knife. Later on, Tina describes her abuse and briefly discusses him sexually assaulting her.

My Thoughts - For the most part, I was impressed with Tina. Did I think that sometimes she made boneheaded decisions? Oh yeah. But she also was willing to trust Aiden with her past as soon as she knew she could trust him, which I really liked. I feel like the norm with books like this would be for the FMC to just bottle it up and hide and keep secrets, but she was very forthcoming about all of the horrible stuff, and Aiden handled everything like a boss.

This book is intensely instalove. I thought Bobby and Kit were instalove, but this is even more intense. From the timeline I kept track of, they hooked up for the first time, had a fight the next morning and didn't see each other for a week, hooked up again and then basically lived together for 11 days, professed their love for each other and then got engaged. AFTER 11 DAYS. I know Aiden loved Evie for a lot longer than that, but he proposed the same day he even realized he was in love with her and actually wanted a long-term commitment.

The conflict with her ex wraps up very quickly and abruptly. It was honestly a little jarring with how quickly the conflict ended and then the book almost immediately ended, when it felt like the conflict had finally just begun. I also still have a problem with this series in that I have no idea where this takes place. They never mention a town name, and we're on book 4 of this series. I just want to know at least what state this is taking place in, I don't think that's too much to ask.

Overall, I love this book and this series. It's hard to read as a standalone, so to understand the whole gang and even the backstory of Aiden and Tina, you'll need to read the first three books. If you wanted to read it as a standalone, you'll find Aiden just as sexy, but it's more enjoyable to understand the dynamic of all of the secondary characters as they are very present in this book. Can't wait to keep reading!

Summary:
Tina (who was born Sarah) has been running from her ex, Sean, for years. He is a powerful man who abused her and tried to kill her. She has distanced herself from everyone so Sean can never find her and their daughter, Evie (who was born Katie).

But the Kincaid girls convince her to trust them. While hanging around them, she always heard about Aiden, but never met him. She also met a man at the grocery store and after bumping into him a second time, she agreed to a date. But when that date roles around, Evie gets sick, so she bails on the date to be with Evie. Kit convinces her to go to her house to hangout with Evie. Meanwhile, Aiden is supposed to be in a date but his date never shows up, so he goes to Kit's house too. Turns out, Aiden is the mystery man from the store. After lots of confusion and commotion, they work all that out.

Eventually Aiden gets Tina to trust him. It helps that Evie is obsessed with him.

Tina opens up about her past, first to Aiden, then to the girls, and lastly to the rest of the boys. Aiden and Tina want to get married but they can't because Tina would have to use her real name and that would help Sean find her.

The girls go out to the club for a girls night, they all decide to take a pregnancy test. But while they peed in the alley, they got arrested for public indecency. The boys pick them up from the jail, make them retake pregnancy tests since 2 were positive and 2 negative. Izzy & Kit are pregnant! But because the girls had their fingerprints taken, Sean is able to track down Tina.

He sandwiches her car between his and his goon's and leads her to the train tracks. He traps her there but the guys come and save them.

Turns out, Tina has had a sepcial agent watching over her for 4 years to help build a case against Sean. As soon as Sean's car bumped hers, they had reason to get warrants to search his properties. He is going to jail for a long time as well as his too guys. This leaves his big legal business inheritance to Evie (aka Katie).

In the epilogue, Aiden and Tina are finally legally married and there are papers in for Aiden to adopt Evie.

Review:
Triggers: Abuse

Loved Aiden and Tina's story. I was on pins and needles waiting to find out how they would finally realize who the other person was! There are a few spicy scenes but not much. The characters and plot definitely make up for it.

After reading the Mayat Justice series, it's unfortunately painfully obvious that this is the first books that EF had wrote. Im actually insanely so obsessed with Mayat Justice and this is so entirely...not that.

The guys are annoying. They're sexist, over the top dramatic and grossly possessive of their girls. Instead of like.... talking to their partners when they're jealous they hulk out and get tunnel vision and attack any man who breathes in the direction of their GF... and it's actually not cute or endearing.

I actually think Aiden is the worst when it comes to his attitude toward women. He didn't know why Tina had stood him up and he *immediately* calls her a bitch. Which, karma made up for that(legend says his balls still hurt)

and like... instead of thinking logically when he sees Tina back with his family, he still treats her so fkn gross.

there were a few other times i cringed at his attitude. And every time, it was because of his internal monologue about needing to be a !M A N! *beats chest like king Kong*

i don't understand how EF can write guys like this.... and then turn around and write guys like Archer (bc let's face it, even though Fletch has been burned by his ex, he's still kinda an asshole to Sera) so I don't know if the personality of the guys in this series is just like FOR this series or if something happened and made EF realize that this was not it.

I honestly think these books are average. The writing is fine for an authors first ever book(s) but they're just. i don't know. I didn't necessarily have to force myself to read them but i definitely did not binge how i normally do.

I also think, especially with the first book, EF was trying to do shock factor a little too much. It just felt very, very dramatic and OTT. especially the villain dialogue.

This one seemed a little more ironed out, though not by much.

Mayat Justice is definitely something I'll keep reading. but this series? Not so much; I actually found myself not caring about Jon's story. and the first half chapter of Jack's story just nailed that decision down and I'll be skipping his too. So 3/5 books and each of those 3 have a soft 3⭐... overall for those 3 books, I think a solid 2.5⭐ seems right. i know that doesn't make sense but giving each book a 2.5 didn't feel right, it felt too low but a 3 feels too high.

4.5 rounded down I suppose.

These books are all great but they lack details and are not regionally accurate books. The words used are not American terms, yet the book is set in small-town USA somewhere.

This book was also good. The connection Aiden had with Evie was so super sweet. It's a bit unrealistic that Tina wouldn't have met Aiden sometime sooner, but it is what it is.

When they did finally meet at the house and Aiden is protecting Evie from "Sarah" and she's kicking Aiden in the nuts... It was also entertaining but not very realistic either. I mean, really? They couldn't step back and think about things as they were seeing it happen?

The ending, like the others, is just abrupt. Like, they took care of Sean and his goons, and beat the living daylights out of them, but didn't get any real follow-up. Perhaps in the next book?

I will say Jon and Tink make less sense in this book than the first 3 books. But their story is coming up so I'm looking forward to it. My guess is Jon doesn't want commitment/kids because he saw how crazy his parents were and doesn't want to potentially pass that along? Otherwise, he makes no sense. He's so protective of his sister that he'd make a great boyfriend/husband/dad. But the fact that they're both sleeping together and with others doesn't really fit the expected MO for Jon.

And the girls lost their VIP status at the bar because some douchebag guys were there not taking no for an answer and one ended up hitting Iz? That's not their fault. Sigh.

And who the hell puts ketchup on an egg and bacon sandwich?! *Shudders*

My fave of the series so far, Aiden was perfect! The dependable one that loves so hard. I loved his relationship with Evie and Tina’s whole story ugh loved it. All the Kincaids have me swoooooning and are the definition of book boyfriends.

Things I’m loving about the series:
- big lovable teddy bears, fighters but so sweet to their girls
- no 3rd act break ups! I looove when I can enjoy the couple n not worry.
- No random miscommunication, no unnecessary drama.
- all the drama is outside of the relationship really
- the family dynamic! U can really tell they love each other, there are real arguments and fighting but also sooo much love and hanging out. Usually with series, I feel like the couple before doesn’t exist anymore unless for a random chapter, but nope. In this series you keep seeing everyone again and grow and can just enjoy all the couples together.

Series overall:
What’s crazy is I originally dnf’d the first book because I felt like it was too much push/pull or idk what it was but I jumped back in and am sooo happy this is one of my favorite series. I finished book 1 and read 2-4 within days! And the fact that the first couple (Kit & Bobby ❤️❤️) got a second book of them being together and being able again to enjoy without unnecessary drama was amazing! Loved Jim’s fun personality but still serious about his Bubs and the fact (SPOILER maybe.. he was the one that waited for his first time instead of the other way around ugh llve). Loved how Aiden already was in love with Evie! And the funny way he realized Tina was Evie’s mom haha this series is gold!

I can’t say enough good things about this series!!!!

Every now and again you find an author that brings all of the elements of an exciting, emotional, suspenseful read that just knocks your socks off, and she does it again and again and again. He will protect them from the horrible past, one that will never destroy what they have or stop their future. . . and in the meantime we will be entertained by this wild and crazy, close and protective clan and their antics.

Another fabulous book!!

Each book in this series gets better and better.Tina arrived in town because she is running from her abusive ex boyfriend Sean who is a billionaire many times over. He planned to marry her but Tina whose real name is Sarah escaped. She has been hiding from him for a longtime. Tina is barely keeping them fed working as a photographer. She has an almost four year old daughter Evie whose real name is Katie that is Sean's. Sean beat Tina and cut her many places leaving lots of scars. He also was abusive to Evie. Evie develops a relationship with Aiden Kincaid after the girls befriend Tina. Somehow Aiden is always missing when Tina is at their houses. Tina and Aiden meet in the cereal aisle at the grocery store but don't exchange numbers. Meanwhile he gets closer and closer to Evie. They finally meet again and plan a date but Evie gets a stomach bug. They only arranged to meet but didn't exchange numbers. Tina has no way to contact Aiden to cancel the date. She doesn't know who he is just that he's hot. They eventually get together. Now they have to keep Tina and Evie safe from Sean. These books are so hard to put down so I can accomplish something. Just fabulous!!

>Book Review – Finding Peace
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 4th in the Rollin On series and ends in an HEA. Tina and her daughter, Evie are on the run and hiding from an abusive man. This man is also rich and powerful. Aiden is the quiet Kincaid brother. He is the fighters’ trainer and the voice of reason. Once everyone learns Tina’s story, the alpha protectiveness kicks in. This book has a ton of humorous moments. There is also a miscommunication between Aiden and Tina at first that is cute as Aiden tries to protect Evie from who he believes is a crazy woman.
>The funniest scene is the girls’ night out when the girls are all arrested for peeing in public. Of course this all leads to unknown pregnancies as the test sticks are all mixed up. Tina’s job as a photographer includes boudoir photos. This plot point was never used as a source of jealousy for Aiden and I was expecting it to be.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. Everyone is in the story and Jack really comes in to his own. The danger in this book is super serious and page turning.

{53} Finding Peace by Emilia Finn is a 5 ⭐️ read.
I’ve not been able to get into any book in about a month, nothing held my attention long enough. But this book just pulled me in and wouldn’t let go.
The storyline was very well written, the characters were very likeable.
Tina (Sarah) Cooper is a single mother on the run from a very scary past, she’s made some friends in town but hasn’t disclosed her past to any of them, when she meets a really good looking guy in the store she agrees to a date with him without finding out his name or phone number, but on the night of the date her daughter gets sick and she doesn’t show up leading to a somewhat funny encounter at her friends house.
Aiden Kincade trains fighters, he comes across as a grumpy person and not someone people want to get close to, he meets a beautiful woman in the grocery store and awkwardly asks her on a date but when she doesn’t show he goes to his brothers house and finds her there going by a different name than the one she told him.
This is book 4 in the series and can be read as a standalone but I’m going back to book 1 to get caught up.

This series gets better and better ❤️

I adore this series, and definitely recommend reading it in order to get the full effect. These Kincaids and crew are amazing, and I love watching each couple fight for their HEA. We met Tina earlier in the series and knew she was on the run from someone pretty awful. This time we get all of her story, and it’s rough. We also have quiet broody Aiden, who falls head over heels with her daughter long before ever meeting her. I love how he loves Evie, and she adores her Biggie!

As usual, we get to see all the others and the goings on in their lives. And there is always something! There’s so much to love in this series, and this story brings it all. I love that Aiden finds someone who loves him for him, not for his last name, or as a means to get closer to one of his brothers. These two are really perfect for each other, and sweet Evie is the icing on top.

I’m dying to see Tina and John figure themselves out, and then Jack’s story, but I don’t want this series to end!

Finding Peace by Emilia Finn. This story is all about Aiden and Tina. Cheese on a cracker, their story is amazing. It’s the perfect blend of drama, comedy, and pure hotness. In the previous stories I didn’t really feel a bond with Aiden. Well Emilia Finn corrected that for me in this story.

Aiden melted Tina’s heart with the way he acted around her daughter Evie. When she finally told him about her past, you know he is going to do whatever it takes to protect her and Evie. I devoured this book in a day and a half. Aiden and Tina have dethroned Kit and Bobby as my favorite couple.

The storyline was on point and moved at a steady pace. The dialogue between the characters was believable. I felt a connection with all primary and secondary characters. Emilia Finn has a way of making the readers feel like they are actually part of the Rollin On family.

I will recommend this story to everyone. I give it 5/5 Platypires

This is the fourth book in Rollin’ On series by author Emilia Finn.
This is a standalone book with a HEA and NO cliff hanger ending.
I will say that after 4 in a row, that all these characters are intertwined in the stories, we have known the main male character since the first book, and the main female character since the third book.
The character development over the four books shows great interactions throughout all of the stories as a reader we were invested in Tina, Evie, and Aiden before this book.

This book has a single mom in hiding from a physically and mentally abusive man to her and her daughter. Then you have a quiet family guardian, a brother to a bunch of fighters, and a son to an amazing woman. This story has lots of heat, some unknown danger, a bit of suspense, a little tragedy, some heartbreak, lots of romance, and a great deal of humor and sarcasm (which I really love), in this story. I laughed out loud in some sections, and my heart melted in others.

I love Biggie, Smalls and Tina. Their relationship was absolutely adorable but I found myself so frustrated at times. The main characters misconstrued what the other was saying so many times. However, once they were together, I was happy and thought they were perfect. I wanted to cry when Tina couldnt even afford Tylenol for Evie. She is such a good momma who obviously tries so hard.
The storyline was a little choppy and the ending was... mehhhh unbelievable and a little (okay a lot) out there so I gave it 4/5 stars rather than my usual 5/5 for this author. Really it's a personal preference thing too.. I just thought the story could've gone a more believable route and gotten the same results.
I did love the happy news for the other characters (dont worry, I won't spoil it) and I'm excited to see what Tink/Jon have in store for us next.

Evie/smalls has officially taken over as my favorite character. She is the cutest!!!

Sexy, Suspenseful, Dramatic, Romantic

This is the fourth book in Emilia Finn’s Rollin’ On series. This is a standalone romance with a happily ever after ending. But, these characters all have interweaving stories and great interactions throughout all of the stories in this series. I think they are definitely best if read as the whole series. This is Aiden and Tina’s story. It’s the single mom in hiding and the straight-edged, slightly controlling brother to a bunch of fighters. The anticipation of Aiden and Tina finally meeting in this story did not disappoint. Not quite a “meet cute”, but more of a “meet embarrassing”. There’s plenty of heat, danger, suspense, tragedy, heartbreak, romance, and humor and sarcasm, in this story. I loved Aiden filling in as a daddy and Tina learning to trust someone else to protect them. And OMG the ending is dramatic and stressful!!

my favorite Kincaid brother finds love

I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part of a series with interconnected characters. You should start at book 1.
The stories just keep reeling me in and I'm binge reading them while in quarantine mode. Author Emilia Finn really knows how to wring all the feels out of the reader.

Triggers: talk/flashbacks of domestic abuse incl physical and mental and non-con

**spoilers**
Tina aka Sarah runs (with her daughter Evie aka Katie) from her ex after putting up with years of abuse.
Aiden the strong, quiet, slightly grumpy Kincaid brother. He falls for Evie first and then meets Tina. They are both leery but eventually commit to each other.
Drama with her ex but a HEA.

Aiden is the quiet brother, but he opens up in book 4 of the Rollin On series. I fell in love with this series early on and the rewrites have just enriched and sweetened the stories so that they have moved from a highly rated 4 stars to an awesome 5 stars. I love, love, love the relationship between him and little Evie, who has to be the absolute cutest toddler on the planet. And, I love how he falls for Evie's mom, Tina. He wasn't looking for love, but when he meets his girls he cherishes them. The brothers' interactions crack me up. This book has humor, sexy times, tears, and a bit of suspense. I highly recommend this series and this author!
