I absolutely loved writing this book. It incorporates many of my favorite personal growth techniques but teaches them through the stories of four high-school seniors. It was the first time I partnered with my wife Chana on a novel, and it was great to work together as a team and brainstorm the best ways of getting the messages across. Compared to the books I've written prior, the writing just absolutely flew, and the book reads the same way. For a book that has so much to teach, it's an incredibly fast read.

Don't bother reading the following, and read "The Size of Your Dreams" instead.

But for those of you who want more detail:

Everyone wants their life to look different, and most people don't know how to manifest that change. Funnily enough, these are the same people who would be loath to crack open a self-help book, considering it beneath them, too heavy-handed, or simply not worth their time. In The "Size of Your Dreams", Dave and Chana Mason ingeniously teach their readers how to activate every ounce of their potential: through the art of the novel. By following the arcs of the four characters in the book, we learn simple, easy, and effective techniques for how to change our lives with the same ease that a potter molds clay.

The narrative is thoroughly compelling, but what's truly remarkable is how it makes you realize "the size of your dreams." This book's ideas and exercises are so potent that I was using and benefiting from them before I'd turned the last page. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!!

Can you imagine a school where each day of learning is filled with fun, creativity, challenge... and relevance to our daily life?

This is the classroom that Dave and Chana Mason dream up in "The Size of Your Dreams" as we follow the four main characters through their growth-filled senior year of high school.

"The Size of Your Dreams" is more than just an enjoyable read as it is chock-filled with valuable tools that help the reader to gain clarity in our own lives and to take those first scary steps closer to achieving our own dreams. I highly recommend this book for young adults and adults like. An awesome read!

Hi everyone, my name is Jaxel and I just started Goodreads eager to share my view on my favourite topic books! :). I will be doing reviews on books a LOT, so please like, as it will encourage me to write more!!

Firstly, on Kindle the book is free, so if you have a kindle, you should definitely download it. Although it is free, I would have still bought the book after reading the sample, if it cost a few pounds. I was hesitant at first, because it said it can change oyur life, but after reading the reviews, I got it.

The first chapter introduced the main characters in such a way that it would be impossible not to like them. The teacher, Mr. Griffin, is represented as a very mysterious character who is not interested in teaching the kids their trigonometry but more interested in teaching them and you how to live a better life.

Throughout the story, it is interesting to see how the characters grow and become better at facing their problems.

The Size of Your Dreams is not just a story, it’s a book that teaches you how to live your own dreams.

Thanks for reading, and if you can, follow, add and leave a like for more updates and reviews on the BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!!

I'm absolutely in love with these authors writing style. It's the second book I've read (first one being Cash Machine) and you could feel the same emotions developing for characters. On one hand - it's a great, enjoyable read, on the other - altough it acts as a semi-tutorial / guide, even if you don't exactly try to implement what's offered - it still contains some fundamental wisdom that sometimes needs to be refreshed.

A story with takeaways!

Every so often a story inspires you to reach higher than you ever thought you could.

As I read this, I saw the story as if it was unfolding in my own life. I thought, “My dreams aren’t much different from these. With these tools, I can change my future.”

Honestly, it’s the clearest explanation of mastermind groups I’ve ever read. Now I can start my own and know it will do the good work it’s designed to do.

If you need tools to help you succeed, this book will give you a solid foundation. Grab your copy now. Read it, and use it to make your wildest dreams come true!

Although the story itself was sophomoric, I feel that it helped illustrate how to use the techniques that the Mason's have developed to facilitate achieving your goals. I did find that I wanted to find out how each of the kids did in achieving what they wrote on their cards. It was less dry than perhaps a book that just outlined what to do. I like the way they differentiate what to do for continual growth vs identity vs working towards an outcome. As someone who wants to improve my health as well as a couple of other areas in my life, I think I am going to give this technique a try.

This is a self-help book, very, very thinly disguised as a novel. That’s OK! I was very interested in the guidelines to getting to know yourself and what you want out of life. I will very likely reread it with a notepad and pen in hand. The story aspect is a bit simplistic and geared toward teens, but it was enjoyable, and the helpful notes and suggestions are valuable for any one at any age (even seniors like me!)

Surprisingly great book!

I didn't have high expectations for this book but was intrigued by the title and the reviews that the book had. I truly enjoyed the book. I have 2 children, one of whom will be a teenager soon and hope to start implementing the strategies in the book with him. It has also motivated me to start creating goals for myself as well.
I'm very happy I stumbled upon this book!

Reminds me of The Greatest Salesman in the World

I love the way the authors have taken a lot of ideas and philosophies and put them into a story with interesting characters and simple but compelling plot lines. It is not great literature, but it is great palatable easily digestible self-help material. I highly recommend it. I also love the sequel book about money management, so far as I've gotten into it. Seem mechanism of putting great ideas into a story format.

This is a terrific book to give young adults positive tools to deal with challenges , to own their own learning experiences and learn how to realize their dreams. It is written in a very accessible style avoiding any trace of off putting pedantry. A great read for you kid, grand kid or use in the classroom and maybe even for yourself.

Have you ever had the feeling of never wanting to stop reading? The feeling of being in the last two chapters and with a strong need to go to the toilet but you still can't stop reading? These are the feelings reading this book.

Do you want to change your way of seeing your inside power? This is the right point from where to start.

Inspiring accessible self-help in a palatable novelized form. This is not quite to the level of Steven Covey's "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People", but it is more likely to be utilized by today's late teens, early 20's young adult. I am quite impressed by the authors and plan to read more works by them. Recommended.

When it comes to personal development, I'm not a big fan of the parable format. But this book worked for me. The outcomes are somewhat exaggerated, but the stories of the four students illustrated how they system can work to achieve a variety of different goals.
Highly recommended for young people.

A beautiful and simple story, packaged in a string of chapters without forced intention of preaching. I find the book successful in conveying the importance of goal settings and realization of internal/ external factors in one's life. If only the pace is slightly faster than what's currently written, I would probably rate it higher.

Goal Inspired

Not only am I inspired to try the methods used in this novel, but I can't wait to have my homeschooled children read this book, one of which was the awkward homeschool girl on the high school swim team!

Eu não gosto de livros de autoajuda, comecei a ler este imaginando ser somente ficção, mas é um misto dos dois. Não é que seja ruim, e até me deu algumas ideias, mas achei bastante inverossímil.
