In this book, you will learn how to infuse weed into butter, oil, coconut oil or virtually any fat you prefer. But you can’t just sprinkle your stash onto a recipe, as creating truly great weed butter is an art. Packed with helpful color photos and step-by-step instructions, this book shows how to make the perfect weed butter for any edible and every application, from reducing stress and battling pain to helping with PTSD and overcoming night terrors.
This was a beautiful book with clear instructions and a lot of quality photos. There is a decent amount of background on weed itself at the beginning which I found helpful. The recipes themselves are accessible ones that sound delicious like Stoney Hash Browns and Garlic Crunch Sweet Potato Fries. My favorite part was the inclusion of a fizzy drink to have if you have a little too much fun. Terrific book!
I love Mennlay and i love her podcast with Broccoli, i was happy to finally read her book! The part on actually making weed butter is great, the rest of the receipts are ok! Still a nice read.
A guide on how to make and use cannabis-infused butter and oils.
What I liked: This a small book with quite a lot of information. There is some introduction to cannabis and edibles and several recipes to make the various oils. There is even a recipe for cannabis-infused bacon grease and one where the infused oil is made in a sous vide. About 50% of the book consists of recipes that include the cannabis-infused oils or butters that can be made.
What I didn't like: Are there a lot of people that put this in their breakfast foods or salad dressings? I think perhaps I'm not the market for this book. Nothing to do with the content or writing, but the publisher of this book (Ulysses Press) has used a typeface so fine it appears grey in colour. It does not make for easy readability.
