He laughed, and it wasn't without a touch of mockery, but it wasn't without humor, either.
"You know, you'd better start believing in myths and legends, Hermione Granger," he advised, lifting her chin, "because you are one."
"You mean I'm in one," she corrected.
"I didn't fucking stutter," he said, and kissed her [...]
This was one hell of a mindfuck. And I need a cold shower.

When I first started reading this I'll be honest I wasn't sure, but of course I couldn't put it down. And then I found myself aggravated at what was going on and still I could not put it down. It was well written but I'll say this...that ending....what the hell was up with that? Very good story though.

An interesting and unusual plot. It was really interesting to see how it would go.
I liked those 2 different versions of Draco and Hermione and how they found their way to one another. How their alternative selves were the ones they wanted to be similar to. And how they helped them become better versions of themselves.
I loved all interactions with Theo. He is funny, sarcastic, and loyal to a fault. And I'm glad he got himself happily ever after.
But the plot itself and all its intricacies were a bit too complex for me. I still have questions how it ended the way it ended. And the last chapter got my brain spinning. It's worth a reread some time in the future when I'm more focused to follow it.

this book was soo clever!! to me it is a reflection on the inevitability of dramione.
draco’s surrender to a hermione who is irreverent, brash, and morally grey makes clear to him how hermione’s usual swottiness, care, and softness cushion his harsher lines.
hermione’s examination of a draco who enables her controlling tendencies and lowkey god complex confirm to her that her constant power struggle with draco ironically keeps her on a more benevolent path aligned with her true desires.
this is a story of true destiny told through fantastical circumstance. i loved it!!

The plot is very chaotic, so I found it hard to follow the flow. A lot of things happen, and situations get complicated without resolving others, so it's a bit frustrating.

3.5 ⭐️ (it felt between a 3.5 and 4 so). anyways! i did honestly really enjoy it, the alternate-realities was really well done and it was a great derivative from the obvious main plot. i also enjoyed being able to see both realities and the pairings in those with how they differ but also their similarities. i fear i did have some trouble at the beginning and ending trying to figure out who was who (the whole “other” and “not” was a tad confusing).
