The story of twin vampires Ezra and Erik who are stalked by a strange geeky girl, Dove. When she is found out, they will never let her go. First they need to convince her that they are not murderers. The story provides a lead for the final story of the series Bitten by The King.
This is the MFM story of the series and it could have been hotter.
And the story should have had more substance. The boys were accused for murders 100 years ago before they became vampires and the girl grew up at a cemetery. The authors could have made wonders with those facts.

This time it’s the twins turn to find their mate.
This was an okay read but it felt more like a prelude to Bishops book at times.
Dove is Dove and Ezra and Erik are worried a mate will split them. What if one of them finds a mate leaving the other out in the cold.
Still not happy about the total lack of epilogues. But I understand it’s an ongoing series still I’m hoping Bishops book has a ton of them.

This is the third vampire book by Alexa Riley, and I loved it!! Like all of her stories, you can expect a fast, sexy, and low angst read!! I am always impressed with how AR is able to squeeze a decent story into so little pages.... This series of four books have been released each Friday in October...with the fourth book coming out on Friday the 26th! I believe that this has been the first time they have written about vampires, and I have to say that I have totally enjoyed these sexy tales!!!
If you have a taste for getting into the Halloween spirit...then I suggest giving these four mini stories a try. They are perfect for a quick read, that gives you just the right amount of romance and sex!!!

"Twice Bitten" is the story of Dove and Eric and Ezra.
Twin vampires Eric and Ezra are excited to find their mate after their family members Ravana and Kane found theirs. However, as Juliet's roommate enters their life, both find themselves attracted to her, only to realize two eggplants and one peach can work together..well as the peach has two accommodating holes.
Well, that's it.
Could have been hotter.

So, it seems Virgin Blood series is a bit more then vampire meets its mate. There is connection between each book. And previous book left me with some questions unanswered. Here we learn more, but not enough to see the whole picture, yet. Need next book.
Talking about this book... I didn't minded Dove obsession with searching, but I was bothered with her stalking twins, Ezra and Erik. I guess, I prefer when H does stalking. Lol. But I liked how she felt bond between them. That no matter what and that she didn't knew Ezra & Erik very well, she still always had trust in them.
And I don't think, I need to say anything about Ezra and Erik. If you read any of Alexa books, you know how H are. And if you didn't, well be ready to swoon.

This is the third book in the Virgin Blood series by Alexa Riley. Erik and Ezra Marcellus are identical twin brothers who also happen to be vampires. They grew up with an abusive father who left them for dead until Bishop found them and welcomed him into his family. First their brother Kane found his mate (Juliet) and then their sister Ravana mated with a vampire slayer (Valen) now the twins are antsy for their mates. But they are extremely close to one another and the thought of separating to live with their mates is unthinkable. Dove Wheeler was raised by her Grandpa and grew up in a mortuary which caused her to be labeled a weirdo. She didn’t have any friends but when she met Juliet, her dorm mate the two became fast friends. Juliet has since left college to move in with her sexy boyfriend Kane who Dove is positive is a vampire so now she’s alone again. She’s become fascinated with Erik and Ezra who are friends with Kane and she’s been watching the four houses owned by Kane, Bishop, Ravana, and Erik & Ezra. The twins are acting out of character and longing to smell cotton candy which has them both on edge. What happens when they both want the same girl ? Is it possible for two vampires to share a mate ?

I know this is the third book and I still have one more to read but I’m saying it now that this book is my favorite!! I have been impatiently waiting to get to Ezra and Erik’s story and it didn’t disappoint. I was curious as to how the bonded mate aspect would work with twins and it was hot and intriguing to say the least. Dove is one lucky girl. Two hot, hunky, possessive alpha vampires at your beck and call! A girl can dream! The twins had a tough upbringing and it makes me happy to see them find true love. I also loved how this story sets us up for Bishop and Loren’s book as well. October 26 needs to hurry up!

I liked Dove’s character in the first book and was pleased she has her own story. Just felt it was incomplete and more of a lead up to Bishop’s story rather than one in its own right.

Twice Bitten by Alexa Riley is the third book in their Virgin Blood series and we finally get to learn more about the twins. Ezra and Erik Marcellus are very close. Yes, they are twins and share that bond, but something about their becoming vampires made that bond even stronger. What would happen to them once they found their mates?
Dove Wheeler, who we met in Bitten by the Beast was Juliet’s roommate. She knows there is something about Juliet’s new family that is different and she is intrigued by them. But most especially the twins, who she seems to be drawn too inexplicably. Now the twins are drawn to Dove as well, but who will she choose?
The mystery of what is happening around this family of vampires picks up more in this book. The family is growing, but things are changing too. I am enjoying the Alexa Riley twist on vampires. They are strong and determined, but once their mates are found, all bets are off. I am excited to read Bishop’s story!

I maintain that AR smut and vampires are a necessary pairing and I have enjoyed this series.
Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone but honestly, they do all connect. In Twice Bitten, we get the story of twins Ezra and Erik. We first meet them, it seems like they are the jokesters of the clan but now we get to see their serious side and watch them fall in love. Of course it’s insta-love. It wouldn’t be an AR book if it wasn’t.
I will be honest, I was just kind of indifferent about Dove. I didn’t hate her but I didn’t love her. I did like her curious side, though. She was a good mate for the twins because that is what they needed but I wasn’t sold.
Now the twins, that is a different story. I wanted more of them. All the time. I also thought they could have been a lot steamier in their threesome than what we got.
Overall, I did enjoy this book and I adore this series. I’m looking forward to the next book where Bishop finally gets his mate!

My favorite book so far in the series--- intriguing, mysterious and memorable characters!
This is my favorite of the Virgin Blood series due mainly to the intense mystery of Bishop making vampires of twins, Erik and Ezra, their monstrous father and how curious, Dove (Juliet's roommate and friend) was drawn to the twins in "Twice Bitten" as her mate. Dark, antagonist vampire, Gordon River was quite foreboding character since he was an enemy of Bishop but River's daughter will strangely be the mate he's been hoping for for almost 200 years based on the painting in his room that he dreams about a lot and Dove's acknowledging that she knew who she was!
Can't wait for Bishop's story, "Bitten by the King (Virgin Blood, #4)" and how River's daughter will be his mate! What's the deal with Loren's birthmark? And the title is it representative of Bishop being King????? King of what?

Estaba muy emocionada por leer la historia de los gemelos, pero se quedo corta. Yo quería mucho sexo salvaje con dos hot vampiros, pero solo tuvimos 2 escenas eróticas bastante ligeras.
La historia ya tomo un giro interesante al final, referente a Bishop, pero igual me quede con ganas de mas de mis gemelos.

This is such a brilliant series loving it and was so pleased that Dove was getting a book too.
We met Dove in the first book she was Juliet’s roommate. Dove is a quiet introverted woman, after being considered weird for her whole life, growing up with her grandfather who ran a funeral home she is no stranger to death. After she catches sight of Erik and Ezra she obsessed with finding out more about them, following them everywhere. Even without meeting them she feels a bond with them stronger than she’s ever felt before. She knows that she should be afraid of them but only feels safe when she is near them. Can she really be in love with them both and with bond that she feels how could she ever choose between them?
Erik and Ezra are twins and the bond they share is unbreakable that is until they catch the scent of Dove and her cotton candy, both want her and both realise that she is their mate, could they really make her choose between them and how will they survive without her. Maybe they don’t have to choose as their true mate could they both have her? After their past lives are revealed to Dove will she run or stay by their side? But before they can explain anything to her she’s taken and no one is keeping them from their mate.
Each book is hot steamy and full of excitement cannot wait for the final instalment of this series but will be sad to see this one end.

Woo hoo....a virgin vampire sandwich....the twins are here, the twins are here *jumps up & down*. This is Dove, Juliet’s college roommate, Ezra and Erik’s book. These three are sweet and they just want to be together. We get a little more background on their coven and their new/past threat. Things that make you go, hhhmmmm? This was a safe read, a trio of virgin mates, 2 vampires and their cotton candy smelling mate. Is it October 26th yet...anyone....Bueller, Bueller. I need the next book nowish....psst....still waiting😉.

Okay, this was good, not amazing, but good. TBH I am not a huge fan of MFM books but made an exception for this one. My expectations were right in this case.

Speaking on behalf of the twins, I hated Ezra!! He just acted without thinking and kept getting on my nerves. Erik was perfect - he has my heart. Now I'm not sure if I'm going to continue the series because I didn't love this one... Maybe one day.

I am in love with this story!!! It was so Amazing!!! I Love Dove, Erik, and Ezra!! Their connection is so special!! I love that Dove is mated to both of them! Erik and Ezra are twins and their connection is tighter than just normal vampires so it only makes since that they would share a mate! When they find her they both do whatever it takes to keep her with them and happy!!! Dove is so inquisitive. After she sees Erik and Ezra for the first time she feels this instant connection but doesn't know what to do. She knows what they are but she isn't afraid. She follows them to figure out her feelings and make sure they aren't dangerous. When they finally all get together it's epic!! So much sexiness between them! Also we get to know more about their vampire world. It was so freaking Amazing!!! I loved this one so much!!! I Highly Recommend this Alexa Riley Book!!!
