When we were together, the world faded away. He made me remember the girl I used to be.
Being with him, helped me find myself.
But, our love was like a war— Each side fighting for survival.
I still crave his touch. He still wants my body.
But Noah’s out for revenge.
I’m tired of fighting. I don’t have a battle plan. I’m just stuck in the crossfire with no way out…
This is the ending to the story that began in Diesel: Savage Brothers MC—Tennessee Chapter. You will need to read that book first to understand this book. It is recommended you read the series in order.
This book will bring you away from the cliff and hopefully make you stop cursing the author.
I'm just a simple small town country girl, haunted by Alpha Men who talk in my head 24 hours a day.
I knew I wanted to write when it became clear I couldn't be happy with just viewing other people's stories. I always wanted to rewrite them.
Like why did Jack have to die? Why couldn't Rose move her butt over? Because that was a huge piece of wood she was on, people.
Happy Endings should be fought for, but they should always happen. Mine might take some curves and twists, but they eventually get there.
Having published over fifty stories, it always feels surreal that this is my life. Hitting USA Today had me crying for days, but nothing is more special than hearing from readers that they loved one of my books.
The woman who owns me inside and out... Rory and Diesel are both fighting a crucial war... for their love and for survival. Being back in her brother's control, Rory is struggling not to give into her past... she needs to fight again for freedom... not only for her own but for Ryan's as well. In Diesel's book of this duet Jordan Marie gifts her readers a steamy romance... in this book, however, get ready to be catapulted emotionally because you are in for one hell of a gut wrenching roller-coaster ride! Buckle up tight... what's about to go down is defo not for the ill at heart. 5 Passionately Deep Stars for "Rory"... an MC Romance with so much pure love and emotions that it will mend every broken part of your heart and then some.
The best thing that happened to this H was that he was shot by the villain ... that bout of hospital stay was his get out of jail card for his truly atrocious behavior in the previous book ... The h had lost too much and been treated rather badly ... I like to think that affected her judgment and led to her forming an unhealthy sttachment to the POS H ....
" You're not a fence Rory. You're the reason I'm still breathing. You're EVERYTHING Gorgeous EVERY. F#@KING. THING. Rory, Rory, Rory!!!! I seriously had to sit and ponder this review for a bit because it left me emotionally raw while reading it!! Now I must say..... I have been reading Jordan Marie from the very 1st Savage MC book and to this day she NEVER ceases to amaze me with her stories. You may THINK you what you are in store for but then she throws you brain into overdrive and you're rocking in the corner sobbing, yelling at you Kindle and messaging your friend who has already read the same book and YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED to speak to someone and have them share in your emotion... THIS IS WHAT RORY did to me while reading and I wouldn't change a single minute of it. We pick up where we left of with Diesel and it is non stop angst filed emotion throughout the entire story. I think the thing I love best about reading A Jordan Marie story is that you never know who will make an appearance and I LOVED it. The Savage family...... fierce..... protective and absolutely deadly when someone messes with one of their own!!! Rory was the PERFECT conclusion to this duet and I can't wait to see what is in store for us when it comes to the Savage MC Tennessee Chapter.
OK yes, I can stop cursing Jordan Marie now. Cause I have been ever since I finished reading Diesel. I have been anxious and floored and just a hot mess because that's just what the ending of Diesel does to a person. But now I've read Rory and everything is right with my world again.
When I finished this book, the first word that came to mind was PERFECTION. The way things picked right back up and thew me back into the moment. The way it kept me hanging on to every word and loving it along the way. And the way things were brought to a close in such a way that I couldn't ask for more. It was all perfection.
This book is a must read, but have tissues ready. I was about 30% in with tears streaming down my face. I was 40% in not even sure what I was hoping would happen but knowing I had no desire to stop reading until the last word was finished. I felt so much as I read, but I am so happy now that I'm done. I want to tell everyone to read this book, after Diesel of course, and to enjoy this truly amazing romance.
Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog, Wow this book blew me away, a warning get the tissues out otherwise you have to leave the book while you get them. I was devastated at the end of Diesel and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. It’s a long journey for all in this book, Rory Noah and poor little Ryan is was heartbreaking and emotional being there and invested in the characters this is a long road to recovery. Well worth the journey. An emotional and happy journey was well worth the read.
There is way too much angst and stuff happening, but I really really really wanted to know how things would end up for everyone after the crazy cliffhanger from the first book, so I am still really happy!
For me, the bar by which I measure any MC romance is set by Jordan Marie. Her writing always blows me away with the sheer intensity of emotion and the dramatic plots. Jordan Marie’s talent as an author truly shines in these types of stories, and it’s because her creativity in them is unparalleled. A gifted storyteller, she has this innate, natural ability for telling difficult, powerful and gripping stories, and she draws her readers into them with vividly portrayed, richly developed and dynamic plots. Her bikers are hardened, complex alpha males, who are fiercely loyal and love hard, play harder and don’t blink before moving to protect their own. She pairs them with strong, resilient, independent women who have survived their own hardships and are able to stand strong in the face of whatever adversity Jordan puts in their path to happily ever after. While they’re definitely beautiful love stories in their own right, these are not sweet and romantic tales. This kind of love is hard fought and harder won, with mountains of tumultuous emotions that are just as harrowing as whatever danger there is in the story for the couple to overcome.
Diesel is the first book in the Love and War duet, a romantic saga within Jordan Marie’s Savage Brothers MC—Tennessee Chapter series. That book ended at a particularly tense moment in the story, and Rory picks up the couple’s journey. I’m not going to go into any detail at all about the plot because anything I say would be a spoiler, and this is the kind of story that a reader really needs to go into blind so they can experience the full impact of the unfolding story exactly as the author intends. All I will say is that, in true Jordan Marie style, the Love and War duet was gritty, raw and intense. It was an emotional rollercoaster of dramatic highs and misery-laden lows punctuated by heartbreaking twists and spine-tingling turns. Both Diesel and Rory’s backstories are steeped with evil, manipulation and betrayal. This love story was shocking, hair-raising, and at times, even frustrating, and it left me completely gutted at times. But passion—in every sense of the word—overflowed from these pages, and I honestly couldn’t read fast enough. Rory and Diesel’s love story was a collision of emotion, lust, desperation and redemption, and it was an absolutely riveting, thoroughly exhilarating and heart-pounding tale.
While some readers may not like the idea of a story told over two parts, having read both books now, I firmly believe that anything less would not have done these characters or their story justice. This was the type of story where I was either at the edge-of-my-seat or up and pacing the floor, Kindle in hand, as I read it. I was anxious, I was excited, I got chills, I fell in love and I ran through the entire gauntlet of my emotions as I’m sure was the author’s plan all along. Jordan Marie did what she does best and sent me on a trip through the emotional wringer before piecing me back together again, and I loved every single moment of it. A stand out for 2018, the Love and War Duet easily earns a spot on my top favorites list for the year. Five stars from me for Rory by Jordan Marie! ~Danielle Palumbo

‘I hope Rory is ready because I’m coming home to her and this time when I claim her, nothing is going to take her away... Not even my own stupidity.’
This might be one of Jordan Marie’s best books yet. The ending of Diesel left so much up in the air that I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. While Diesel is fighting for his life, Rory is left fighting not only for her own but the life of her unborn child and Diesel’s son Ryan. Rory loves Ryan so much that she would do anything to protect him leaving herself in even more danger. Her brother King is dead set on raising Ryan to be his protégé in his own warped view of how a man should act.
There is a lot that happens in this book and I really don’t want to give anything away, but I have to say I really enjoyed the surprise character appearances we got to see in this book. I also loved that some of them got their very own chapters, for me it was like a big reunion of previous characters I loved and getting to see where they are now was a wonderful treat.
Watching how natural the relationship between Rory and Ryan grew gave me so much respect for Rory and at the same time made my heartbreak for what she had to endure. Diesel went from such a closed off alpha jerk to someone who has so much love to give it made me root for him all the way!! If you love MC books or ever read anything by Jordan Marie, you really need to check out this series!!
“It’s a vow, because a love as strong as the one we have can’t die. It will last forever.”
Re-read and just as captivating as the first time! 2-7-21
Wow this was the "conclusion" to Diesel aka Noah and Rory's introduction, relationship together and apart and their HEA . This series is a continuous story so read in order. Also just go ahead and buy all three books at once, it'll save you time so you can just read, read, read!! Romance, brilliant story, heat, violence, abductions, physical and mental abuse, tears happy and sad, heat heat heat! King what a piece of $h'+ brother he was! Top ten worst book family member!! Little Ryan is soo cute! Plus we catch up with some of the other characters from the KY savage chapter. Brilliant books you won't want to finish because then it'll be over! Hurry up Jordan Marie and get the next book in this series out so I can see Wolf get his (slow torture and slower death, ba$t@®d!) ***Triggers very likely in these books.***
Omg Jordan this book was amazing just loving this new series can't wait to read the next book if you love mc books then I highly recommend this book and any of Jordan books
Jordan Marie just knows how to rip out your heart and then mend it back. I was on the edge of my seat threw the whole book. Rory is one strong woman. She is put threw so much. And so does Diesel. Their love just grows stronger. I love all the characters.
Emotionally draining, but this book was so worth it. Despite what Noah said in the last book, Rory proved she was worthy of that man and his club. I loved how she protected Ryan and showed him how a mother is supposed to care for her children.
"And I promise you, Rory. I'll find out what your dreams are and I'll do everything in my power to give them to you. I'll give you every last one of them...and more."
What an explosive, mind blowing, heart crushing conclusion to the first book!! I couldn't put it down and lost myself in Diesel and Rory's heart breaking story. The Author filled it to the brim with a sexy, emotional, action packed second chance for these characters and each minute I was unsure of what the outcome would be! Once again my stomach is filled with butterflies, and I feel so consumed by these characters and absolutely floved that there was some breadcrumbs for a possible future story that I hope comes soon!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review and if you're in the mood for an MC Romance that checks all the boxes, this duet is a must read!!
"Noah is my future. The past-and all the monsters I had to face-they're not even a memory now."
I have been waiting for this book to come out since the October and let me tell you it did not disappoint, by chapter 3 I was already crying. Rory is STRONG and when I say she loves Noah and Ryan, I inspire one day to have an ounce of the commitment she has for the both of them. I don't want to give any spoilers but I will say this its has so many twist, that at one point I personally wanted to hunt down the author Jordan Marie and ask what the hell was thinking when she wrote some of this book.
Rory is a true mother even though she is not Ryan biological mom she does whatever it takes to protect the little boy, Ryan beats himself up because he can not protect Rory the way his dad Noah told him how man protect their woman. Where is Noah you ask?? well that is what we all want to Noah.. READ... THIS... BOOK. I think this was my favorite for 2018
This book broke me......and then put me back together again. That's why I love, love and love Jordan Marie books. Her MC world is one of my greatest escapes. I devour them. I could NOT put this book down. I was a blubbering snotty nosed mess. Thank gosh I was home alone "no witnesses" to my despair and brokeness. The love that Rory had for Diesel and Ryan was off the hook. The storyline is just brilliantly, heartbreaking and heartwarmingly written. It has everything I want from an MC read, hot AF sex scenes, a hot sexy alpha leading male and a hell of a strong woman by his side. I highly recommend this book and author. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
ABSOLUTELY GREAT READ!!!! This is book 2 of the Love and War Duet by Jordan Marie. It definitely is a must read of the year! Diesel is the first book that started this amazing read and it ended in a heart gripping cliffhanger that made you turn around and immediately purchase book 2 Rory. You can't read one book without the other but it's totally worth it. This story has everything from love, pain, tears, not and hope. It's a love story with so much emotions it leave you raw but I'm a good way. One of my favorite books in a very long time. highly recommended!!!!
Rory is the third book in the Savage MC: Tennessee Chapter series. I wouldn't recommend reading this series out of order. There is so much that you will miss. So how do I review a book that I don't want to give any spoilers away from?!
This book is very dark and I originally thought to myself why was this story being told over two books but after reading them both I highly recommend them. Very dark and full of heart break this book had me on the edge of my sit wanting to know what was going to happen next. I couldn't put it down and it left me raw.
I’ve been counting down the days to get my hands on the concluding part of Rory and Diesels story and it was well worth the wait. This book is amazing. Picking up where Diesel ended, we see just how determined and strong Rory is and I admit I have a big girl crush on her. I wanna be her when I grow up!
Rory is an action packed read that will not only have you guessing but will have you completely hooked. This is an emotional rollercoaster ride and I loved every single word of it. I can’t wait for more from Jordan Marie.
Rory was a great story, of a truly strong woman that goes thru so much pain and suffering but does not let it stop her from protecting Diesel son, thinking that Noah aka Diesel was gone. Her past had caught up to her and Noah's son, this man that was her past was her brother a very evil person. What Rory did was get Diesel's brothers to come to where they was living and see to Noah while she was running with Noah 's son . When she finds out about Diesel , she has not for give him but let me tell you he makes up to her for all the pain he cause her, this story was great with a great ending, love it! Would recommend this book to all romance readers!💖
After the first book, I thought I couldn't be more blown away. But. Whoa. This story was told from many different points of view. Story picks up where Diesel left off and I didn't know where this story would go after that cliff-hanger. I love Rory as the leading lady, I mean her love and fierce protectiveness of a child that wasn't even hers just blew me away. It was definitely a page turner!
Ever heard the sayin if it can go wrong it will, well that applies to Rory and Diesel in so many ways. their story is sweet and sad and heartbreaking and hot and omgwhatdidijustread kinda book. Freakin love their story
En deçà du précédent car beaucoup de pleurnicherie, et de motards sans moto (lesquels on se demande bien ce qu'ils font de leurs journées, en dehors de grogner tout seuls)
Wow ! I don't know where to begin. First Jordan Marie this book is fantastic. Love it. Rory and Ryan they went thur hell to get back to Noah.I cried ,I wanted to kick King ass . You want a great book to read this is it. I don't want to tell anymore because I don't want to give anything away. This is my favorite Jordan Marie's book. Go and buy it .You will not be sorry.
❤️🌼🔥IF DIESEL AND RORY DON’T TOUCH YOU....NOTHING WILL!!!❤️🌼🔥 I have sat here staring at my iPad for at least an hour, trying to review RORY, but my opinion can’t be expressed without sharing my feelings...And, there are just, SO MANY FEELINGS....the entire SAVAGE MC-TENNESSEE CHAPTER Series has been so emotional to me....and with there being such raw, gut-wrenching pain and sadness from the end of DIESEL and into RORY, I wasn’t sure how I would finish it, but, obviously, I knew there was no way and never any doubt, I wouldn’t or couldn’t NOT finish it.....❤️🌼🔥 Let me say, I re-read Books 1, DEVIL & 2, DIESEL of the SAVAGE MC-TENNESSEE CHAPTER Series, again, before I read RORY, because, well, that’s just who I am, but I recommend ANYONE who has not, yet, read DEVIL & DIESEL, READ THEM NOW, before you read RORY.....They are all tied together, and RORY will be 100% more meaningful, if you read the other two first.....RORY tied up some loose ends, from the previous books, but there is a BIG loose end still left hanging from DEVIL, so, even as drained as I am, emotionally, from RORY, I’ll be more than ready to read Book 4 when the time comes.....I don’t anticipate it very soon.....RORY had to be a hard book to write.... It, obviously, held my attention, throughout, but there were parts that were just hard to read....❤️🌼🔥 Every emotion I am capable of feeling, was brought to the surface while reading RORY...And, even after reading ALL of Jordan Marie’s books and never finding one, yet, I didn’t love, I realize my next statement is saying a lot..but..once you finish RORY, I know you will understand!! In my opinion, this may be Jordan Marie’s best series to date....❤️🌼🔥 I realize I didn’t say a whole lot about the storyline of the book, RORY, but, for me, RORY is DIESEL, part 2, because RORY begins where DIESEL ended......and that’s a very good and a very bad thing....❤️🌼🔥
I totally want more Noah and Rory. After everything they have been through, I freaking want to see them happy. I NEED to see them happy!!
When a series makes me sob through each book, it's a winner. These books gave me every emotion possible at an off the chart level. Jordan Marie is a new author to me, and I'm so glad I gave this MC series a try, and I will definitely read her other books.
My one complaint is that I didn't know about the Savage Brothers series before reading Savage MC: Tennessee Chapter first. I liked so many of the brothers and didn't know they had their own stories, so of course, I have to read them now. A note in the blurb would have been nice.
I have no words, absolutely nothing. Blown away by this book and the freaking emotions
Since I read the previous book, I couldn't wait for this one to come out. From the beginning to the end this book will capture you and have you trying to read as fast as possible to see where this is going to end. Rory was fierce, protective and such a bad ass. So much drama, angst, twists and turns that you don't even know how where this is going to end and so much more. All I can say is read this book, if you want to know what happened after Diesel!
