Llewellyn George started his publishing company in Portland, Oregon in 1901, concentrating Astrological books and annuals. In 1961, Carl L. Weschcke of St. Paul, Minnesota purchased the company and relocated it to the Midwest.
Llewellyn is the world’s oldest and largest independent publisher of books for body, mind, and spirit.
I enjoyed many of the articles in this almanac. While not all of them were things I am particularly interested in at this point, it was fascinating to read them and learn about ways that other people express and follow their own spirituality. I left lots of virtual bookmarks in my Kindle copy, because there are a number of things I'd like to go back to reference in the future.
