Will Clover be able to keep her identity a secret or will she fall in love with her four band mates?
His, His Or His? is the first book in the Lust & Lyrics Reverse Harem Series.
Hanleigh is a USA Today Bestselling Author and is about as English as it's possible to be, without actually being English.
She first fell in love with books as a child reading Dr Seuss, but moved onto romance when she first read Pride and Prejudice at the age of twelve. She wishes she could live inside the world inside her mind, but since that isn't possible she puts pen to paper and shares that world with her readers instead.
Clover's had a less than ideal life with her parents constantly forcing their will upon her, even as an adult. Her life takes a very interesting, very naughty turn when she finds herself masquerading as her twin brother. Just as things are getting good... BAM! End of the installment. I can't wait to see what else she gets up to with her brother's band mates as the secrets unravel.
It was a good narration by Susan Greenway but there was barely any variation in the voices for the characters so it was easy to lose track of whose POV was being spoken.
Interesting concept for sure - parents are so obsessed/concerned with brother that they force sister to fill his shoes after an accident. Somewhat surprised to see the written from the perspective of multiple people, as books I read lately may be from two perspectives and this has multiple, which is definitely harder for the author to do. Feel the main character, Clover, is definitely in a hard place in life, trying to find herself, her worth, and is seeking out attention and love but can't say that I respect her for some of what she does in this book. A bit of a cliffhanger at the end, wish I knew what the next book's title would be or when it was available so I could stay involved for the next book in this series.
Absolutley amazing! If you're a lover of the movie 'She's the man' you will love this! Sister pretends to be her brother while he is in hospital and falls for his best friends! Loved Loved Loved this so dang much! I'm off to binge the next one!
this book was really good! just really hard to follow. she must help out her brother after he was in a bad accident. only problem some dont know who she really is and feelings start to surface. its a short read you will enjoy.
The book is a good romantic suspense read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good. The story is a dramatic fast pace read that does end in a cliffhanger.

Creed and Clover are twins. Creed is the lead singer in a band, while Clover has taken a year out to travel. While Clover is in Paris she gets a call from her mother telling her that Creed has been in a car accident, and needs to return home straight away. This is where it all changes Clover is to take Creed's place in the band. Will she pull it off, can she keep it up, will the other band members notice. While she pretends to be her brother, all is sort of well. She as Clover things start to get a little hot in the band. This is a great story loved it can't wait to see what happens in book 2
Christi is a hardworking young woman who works at a lingerie shop. She's been yearning for an internship at her company's Paris location, but in the meantime she's just working and saving money until her dream comes true. She went on a date with her boss that ended in a hot, one of a kind kiss, but since then he's been sullen and withdrawn, so she's unsure of where they stand. Now it's Christmas Eve and she's working overtime after having given her other clerks the night off when suddenly Lane appears and startles her to the point of almost falling off her precarious perch where she's trying to replace some burnt out Christmas light bulbs in the window display.

This was a quick story with an interesting premise. Clover is a wonderful character. I loved reading about her as she tried to do as her parents asked and yet finds herself in a bit of a dilemma. The writing was well done, the characters were interesting, the storyline good and I liked what I read. I just wanted more of this amazing story right now. I look forward to the next book.
When her twin brother is injured Clover finds herself taking his place in the Saving Creek rock band and pretending to be him. Her parents are famous rock stars who convinced her to do this even though her love of music is in the writing not the performing.
Things become even more complicated when she develops feelings for the other guys in the band which leads us to the cliff hanger needing to know what is going to happen next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Think She's the Man meets the music industry. Here we follow the story of Clover, who takes the place of her twin brother Creed in his band. But it's not easy being your brother when you haven't seen him in 9 months, and he's supposed to be living with his band mates. Add in the fact that those band mates are gorgeous, kind, caring, supportive and talented and it can only end in disaster.
This story captivates your attention with action from the get go. It's a super fast paced story, but nothing ever feels rushed. Interested to see what happens next for Clover and Saving Creed!

Holy crap. Clover is in quite the predicament. Shame on her parents for asking this of her. I wonder how Creed will react when he wakes. Instead of running tho Clover should have talked with the guys. They deserve a cah ce to know and the chance to decide how they feel too. Maybe she can date them all. Hmmm what will happen next....

She grew up with rock stars as parents who expected her to follow their footsteps. She did not want to join them as all she wanted was to write music. Then she joins the group. How is all going to go? Will she find her place? See what will happen

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. I loved this book, it grabbed me from the first page and I couldn't put it down until the last word. The storyline was well thought out and written, and the chemistry between characters was great.
Captivating dramatic fast-paced switching places story but ends in a cliffhanger. Intriguing characters and a well-written book. The pleasure to read this book.

Ouch, I’ve got to the end too fast. I need more. The story captured me from the beginning and didn’t let go until the last page. Now I’m just waiting for the next book. Have to know what will happen to Clover and the guys. It’s my first book by Hanleigh Bradley, but not my last.
This is my 1st read and review for this author and wow what a read I loved it, sadly it ends on a cliffhanger so I need the next book like yesterday lol. Clover has grown up with rock star parents that’s the life she has only known, her parents want her to be rich and famous but Clover just wants to create the music. This is an amazing story and I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This ends on a serious cliify and right now I am torn between comforting Clover and knocking some sense into her! I dont want to give anything away but I need book two now! This was a hard pass for me. It felt like it was written about and for a bunch of teenagers. I've read books with more substance and depth on Wattpad than this. Not only was it incredibly short, but it was also pretty far fetched to believe that Creed's closest friends couldn't recognise that it was him despite a complete 180 in terms of behaviour, mannerisms, musical style, personality and even certain physical aspects. Sure, Jett recognised Clover in disguise, but it was really only Rigby that was doubting Creed and that was mostly because he 'suddenly' starting feeling attracted to who he thought was one of his close mates. Additionally, I don't know why Clover agreed to play along for as long as she did- sure the first concert I can maybe excuse, but then going to practices and moving in with the band undercover while her brother was still in a coma or something?? Yes, I know her parents kinda 'forced her' but I feel like there's an ethical line somewhere that shouldn't be crossed. Besides, if she's old enough to be entertaining attention from multiple males, then she should at least have the balls and basic decency to reveal how serious her brother's crash was to his friends and tell her parents to buzz off. I also wasn't really into how Jett got all possessive over Clover because he was the only one that knew she was faking it, and how Ziggy was crazy down bad for another woman, and not to even mention how much of a misogynistic ass Nash was for constantly viewing women as objects for pleasure and little else. While the book has a great idea, the execution is awful, spearheaded by the fact that the whole reason She's the Man worked is because nobody knew what Sebastian actually looked like- not this, where the guys were in a band with him for nearly a year just for him to 'mysteriously' change. Nope. 2/10.
Creed and Clover grew up with unconventional rock star parents whose greatest wish was for their twins to follow in their footsteps toward rock stardom. Clover loves to create music of her own and has no real interest in performing, whereas Creed and his band, Saving Creed, are already world famous and getting ready for a concert at the 02 Arena. On the way to the venue, Creed is involved in an automobile crash and the family doesn't have any word on his condition. How are they going to make sure the show can go on? Clover is just as fine a musician as her twin, with a great voice, and her mother gives her a call in Paris, where she's on vacation, to ask her to come home right away to take Creed's place. Jet, Ziggy, Nash and Rigby know that Creed's been injured, but they haven't been told if he can perform tonight. When they walk out onto the stage, thankfully, Creed is ready and already standing in the spotlight, getting ready to perform. What nobody knows is that it's Clover, with her rose gold hair covered to match Creed's dark hair and dressed in his clothes. Will it be easy to fool "his" bandmates, let alone the fans? This story is well-written with a true rock star vibe with clearly drawn and cleverly named characters that made me chuckle every time I thought of Crimson (and) Clover, Joan Jett, Eleanor Rigby and more! As the band mates slowly start to realize who she is, the atmosphere changes and some jealousies exist, but so does the passion. The ending is not a cliffhanger, it's a transition to the next phase of their relationship. I know who I'm cheering for, but it might change in the next book. The big question is, what is Creed going to do once he wakes from his coma to find what has been happening with his band. Hanleigh Bradley never disappoints!
How does this book can have this many 4 stars ? The FC is easy. Falling in love with 4 men : 1 childhood friends to whom she never confessed her love, and finally, when he got the guts to confess his, she just say « how could you ? » before running away like a petulant child. 1 manwhore to whom she never speaks when disguised and the night he discovers that she’s a girl (sleeping), he just put her naked and sleep with her WITHOUT a condom ! Giiiirl, show some self respect and protect yourself at list. You can jump him just because, but you ealth is away more important… 1 guy that stays in the back ground wishing to fanilly be seen by a girl (falls too easilly in love, quickly, and the mourning period in between is like « This one is sooo pretty ! That one will never love me anyway ». This one lacked charisma, intellect, and pertinence (sorry if it’s not the english word) as a character. Bland guy, tasteless character and dumb « love ». & the only one that might by relevent is Rigby (Hello Patrick Jane & Teresa). Even if after a few days, when she ran away because she is scared to own her actions and feelings, his attitude in the beginning of the second volume will be « How can she do this to me ? » + short tempered And why no one talk to each other ? They’re supposed to be a familly with the moto Bros before ho’s, but they don’t confide in each other when they discover the truth (by the way, they have a lot of brotherhood for guys that just started their career together 9 months prior. Where is the building of their group and brotherhood ?) Bref, lacked deeper connexion between the characters, the lore in itself is almost non existant, the story is too fast, chapters too shorts, and I paid for this deception. I loved the topic, but I’m trully disapointed.

'Sigh' I've had to relisten to this in order to properly complete my review.
There's more about this performance that I really don't like than I do. I have never liked the way songs are portrayed/performed in audiobooks. They are never actually sung, they are read, so the tempo is never even close to how it should sound. This is normally simply annoying, but the proliferation of 'singing' in this book is just too much for me to enjoy this book as it is intended. The songs are overly used as filler as we have to go through a band performance of the song and then it gets repeated as an actual chapter because for some odd reason, every other chapter is just tye lyrics of a song. As this is a single narrator, they provide the voice for all characters, but there is little to no distinction or variation to their voices or accents, so it is hard to follow who is actually talking, even when it's one of the women. The narrator appears to be struggling to get some of their words out, as if they haven't read through the lines prior to reading them out loud. As to the story, I struggled with the concept, as we are expected to ignore how biology actually works and believe that fraternal (non-identical) twins look and sound so alike that no-one can tell the difference between them, even people who see at least one of them on a daily basis. It would be pretty plausible IF they were identical twins, and a bit of stretch if they were the same gender fraternal twins, but simply sharing a womb doesn't make fraternal adult twins seamlessly interchangeable by strapping down breasts and putting on a wig 🤦🏾♀️
