Ivy Morgan

Wicked Seas

Ivy Morgan has never been on a vacation. Her fiancé Jack Harker is happy to be the one to provide the experience. With that in mind, the couple embarks on a sea adventure on The Bounding Storm, a cruise ship where sun and fun are the order of the day.
Ship photographer Rowan Gray is drawn to Ivy from the moment they meet. There’s something different about the woman, although Rowan can’t figure out what that “something” is. Quinn Davenport is too busy with the murder of a high-profile woman who was drawing a lot of negative attention to give much thought to Rowan’s distraction, but he encourages her to delve deep if she’s that desperate for answers.
When Margaret Adkins – the leader of a political group that wants to limit certain movies, books, and television shows – is found dead in her room, Jack is drawn to the mystery while Quinn tries to keep him at arm’s length.
Since Ivy is distracted by visions of death and Rowan is caught up in figuring out the secret Ivy is keeping, it seems multiple people on The Bounding Storm are in danger of tripping over one another to find answers.
It’s a tangled web of intrigue and magic as Rowan and Ivy come face to face with some carefully concealed secrets. They’re going to have to work together if they expect to survive the murderer running free on The Bounding Storm.
This fearsome foursome is about to discover just how strong they can be … together.

A fantastic cross-over with enough of Ivy, Jack, Rowan and Quinn to keep me amused and entertained throughout the whole book.

Jack is taking Ivy on a cruise a special holiday for the woman he loves with all his heart. (What to Schmaltzy?)

Rowan and Quinn are ready to set sail for what they are hoping will be a 'normal' cruise lol I have a feeling that is never going to happen for them but at least this time they have Ivy and Jack along to give them a helping hand or at least for the girls to give the helping hand to each other while the guys have a testosterone quest, which in itself was extremely entertaining.

I love cross-overs

A mostly enjoyable book, fast paced and full of familiar characters combining well in an excellent tale.
The only problem is the over the top 'romantic' sections, which pass into slightly nauseating, and the emotional talks between the male characters, which comes across as unbelievable.
The mystery itself, however, is well thought out and enjoyable to read

Fun, fun, fun

Great crossover!!! Now we just need to get Harper and Jared together with Jack and Ivy and Rowan and Quinn in one supersize mystery. The girls will all get along fantastically, but the guys might have some issues, but boy would it be fun!!!

Such a fun crossover! I actually liked that they weren't all instant friends and there was a bit of suspicion there. I really liked the mystery here and thought that was developed well. There was also a good balance of both couples, which can be tough to do. I am looking forward to the next one!

Very scary, but very schmaltzy

Another cute murder mystery by Harper Hart. This one included Ivy Morgan and her fiance Jack Harker. Ivy is a witch who loves gardening and has her own greenhouse that she sells plants out of as her primary source of income. Jack is a retired police detective from Detroit.

Ivy and Jack are sick in love and to watch them together is sickening. Lol. However, Rowan and Quinn are very similar in that respect. Rowan and Quinn are hopelessly in love and schmaltz all over each other. Haha.

The two couples work together to solve the whodunnit of a murder on the ship that Rowan and Quinn work on. Rowan is the ship's photographer and Quinn is the head of security. Quinn and Jack are a lot alike, but they'll never admit that to anyone even if it is blatantly obvious. Both men love their women more than life itself and will fight to the death to protect them. The guys are always in competition with one another as to who is the strongest and hottest. Its quite comedic.

Ivy has special abilities... Magical abilities and so does Rowan. They are both psychics, but in completely different ways. Both women's secrets come to light to each other in this book, but not until more than halfway through. But after the secret as out, Ivy and Rowan became very close.

There was a mention of Demarcus in one of Ivy's psychic predicaments and it makes me wonder if perhaps Dear us has magical abilities of his own. It didn't come up in this read, but my hope is that it will be expanded upon in a future book. I honestly think it was actually Demarcus dream walking with Ivy and Jack and he wasn't a figment of Ivy's imagination like she thought.

Ivy and Harper (Harper is the one that can see and talk to ghosts) are friends. Harper was in the crossover book - just prior to this crossover - with Rowan. That book was "Ghostly Seas."

In the end the murder was solved by the two couples working together. So. That's it.

See you in my next book thoughts review.
Stay kind. Stay humble. Be magical.
Deuces to your cabooses!

I love these crossovers! I think when I finish this series I will be reading the Rowan Gray series as Ive seen her in both this series and the Harper Harlow one..
Ivy and Jack are going on a cruise! Jack is hoping that by the time they return that they will have finally set a wedding date.
The cruise is a mixture of regular people and a group which wants to do away with violence in the media. like movies, music, and television.
On the first night one of the leaders of the group is murdered. Rowan knew something was going to happen to her due to her special ability to see omens in the photos she takes. Her and her boyfriend did their best to keep an eye out for her but it wasn't enough. She was murdered in her room. Now Jack and Ivy catch wind of whats going on and Jacks cop radar goes off, and he can't help but want to figure out whats going on. Rowan and Ivy meet and bond a little about living in Michigan. Rowan ends up hearing Jack and Ivy talk about her seeing another murder, they end up talking about what they both can do. (i think the only thing that would have made me like this story better is if they somehow mentioned that they both know a lady that can see and talk to ghosts that also lives in michigan -Harper)
This was another good one! I am really enjoying this whole series. They mysteries are excellent, and Ivy and Jack are a great couple. if not more than a little co-dependant lol.

Wicked Vacation

Jack takes Ivy for a cruise on "The Bounding Sea". It's Ivy's first real vacation and she's a whirlwind of activity, anxiety and excitement.

Once aboard they're greeted as VIP's and, after a quick friendly exchange with the ship's photographer, they're ensconced in a 1st Class Loft Cabin which exceeds Ivy's expectations but Jack's determined to make it special for her.

Rowan is happy to meet the couple from Michigan, especially as she's from the same city, St Clair Shores, as Jack and stayed in Shadow Lake for a time as a child.

Quinn's busy covering the security and wondering just how much trouble the "National Organisation for Clean Minds and Hearts" could create. They're trying to get films, books and video games heavily censored to remove violence and crime believing that watching it is the direct cause and a ban will stop crime in its tracks. They're also uptight about nudity and want everyone to be covered up.. a cruise ship is a weird choice for the group. Rowan has seen the omen on one of the group and despite Quinn's efforts all too soon there's a body. She's mystified over a new symbol that's shown up on her photos of Ivy and Jack.

Now the two couples need to trust each other enough to share their powers and to prevent the murderer leaving when they dock.

Entertaining Paranormal cozy mystery series crossover

This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series crossover. If I’m cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Rowen Gray is a photographer on a cruise ship. She sees mystical omens in her photos that have different meanings. The biggest one being the death omen. She should be a Detroit newspaper photographer until she got downsized and had to find a new job. her boyfriend Quinn is the chief of security on their cruise ship. In this crossover event Abby Morgan a young woman from Michigan and her fiancé Jack a place detective in their small town is on vacation on the cruise ship. Of course if something happens and then I’ll get drawn in it together. Read on and find it how much fun and entertainment in misery is going on this time. If an crossover event between these two series in this magical world by this awesome author. Check it out

Ok I must be the only one who is soooo tired of hearing the “ I LOVE YOU’s” over and over and over again!!!! I get it ....they are both madly in love ....YES....! And what about the whole” I’M PROTECTING YOU”. Can we PLEASE tone it down a little!!!! That being said....I think the crossover it great. The story was also great.....I love the banter between Quinn and Jack...made me giggle.
I like how Ivy and Rowan share their secrets. This is a nice mystery series .....but that’s only 1/2 the story....the rest is filled with....shall I say SCHMALTZY. I’d love to give it 5 stars ...but just can’t seem to bring myself to it. Happy Reading :)

Another wonderful story!

A delightful crossover story set in two of Ms. Hart's worlds! Expertly crafted storytelling with a believable premise. A great introduction to two different sets of characters, although there are spoilers if you haven't read their storylines before. Whether you have or not, the background is explained quite well, and sets the stage for this unique story. A story you won't want to miss.

Another great add to the series. I love all the Ivy Morgan books but I've never read the other Rowan Gray books, I was never lost or confused with those characters though. If anything I wanted to know more. Ivy and Rowan meet like its Fate and their connection is a great friendship. The two boyfriends meeting though was not easy and had me cracking up they were so grumpy. Can't wait to see what they can get into next.

Fun Mystery

Crossovers with favorite characters have become one of my favorite self-indulgences. This mystery was hard to figure out, but the best part of the book was the interactions between the four main characters. Honestly, a scene where our favorite bartender appears in a dream will forever rank as one of my most memorable scenes. I cannot wait for another crossover by Hart is published!

An interesting read

Ivy and Jack join Rowan and Quinn aboard The Bounding Storm for Ivy's first real vacation. Soon, a murder has them working together (reluctantly on Quinn's part) to unravel the mystery. Ivy and Rowan pair well together, but Jack's and Quinn's testosterone-fueled interactions are eye-rolling fun. Another facet of Ivy's magic manifests, and the possibilities are intriguing...

Loved This Book

I love both series, so it was fun to read a cross-border mystery on the high seas. The mystery was not as complex as in other books, this book seemed to me more about the characters meeting, getting to know each other, and how they worked together together to solve the mystery. I really enjoyed Demarcus role in this book. I love his character.

Wicked Seas

I love that both Rowan and Ivy are continuing to develop abilities. Jack and Quinn are hilarious together. With ivy on her first vacation and multiple murders to be investigated, Jacks attention is split. I loved all viewpoints and interlocking storylines. Hope to see more.

Over too soon.

Why did it have to end? As much as I love the individual series, the cross overs are so much fun. This one had me wishing Harper was there too, just to see how that would go.
Entertaining and fun. Nice mystery and interesting new talents discovered by both Rowan and Ivy.

A rollicking good time!

Two of my favorite series get put together for this one and it was great! The girls form a like for each other and share secrets but the men, well, they are like two roosters sizing each other up but in a fun way. They all come together to solve a murder and it was a lot of fun.

Loved it

This was the best story yet, the author is to be cheered for a great storyline and cast. The smooth transition into both series without taken from each other but blending perfectly together and new friendships are formed. I guessing they will be coming to the Wedding of Jack and Ivy right, along with Harper, Zander and Jared? Can't wait!😍

Not my favorite

I love Rowan and Quinn. I think they're my favorite couple. Unfortunately, Jack kinda ruined the story line. The last few Ivy/Jack books he's become increasingly unappealing, and it pretty much ruined most of this story for me. The parts he wasn't in were good though and I like how the murder panned out.

Brilliant crossover

I love both the Rowan Gray and the Ivy Morgan series by Lily Harper Hart and this crossover of both series did not disappoint. The interaction between Rowan, Ivy, Quinn & Jack was wonderfully outlined and there was a lovely little "I wonder if" moment regarding Demarku.

Fun Crossover

This is an entertaining read featuring 2 of our favorite storylines intersecting. I definitely had envisioned the dynamics of these two couples meeting differently: Ivy always seems so much more grown up than Rowan so I would have pictured her taking the lead more.... But despite my preconceived ideas I thoroughly enjoyed this story line 😁

“I knew what I was getting myself into when I took you on,”

When Jack and Ivy take a vacation, a cruise sounds like just the ticket for relaxing. That is until someone is murdered. Quinn and Rowan along with Jack and Ivy have to work together to figure it out. Another great crossover read! Enjoy!!!

I love the crossover

It's great to see this crossover from both series. Quinn vs Jack was very cute. The only thing better would be if we get to see Rowan and Harper meet again at Ivy's wedding. What's great book that would be!

This was a crossover from Rowan Gray and Ivy Morgan series! I really enjoyed this one a lot. However, it seemed like Rowan wasn't the star of the story, Ivy was, and Rowan was always my favorite so that was kind of a let down. But, it was still really good, and I liked it a lot.
