Once again Leslie has written yet another wonderful book about a Sheikh. I don’t know where she comes with so many different ideas but she has yet to disappoint. I have read several of her books and this is another one that I would recommend to everyone to read.
Dr Alexis “Alex” Seaton has been called to Kattahar on an emergency call. She is a veterinarian that is a specialists in exotic animals mainly in Europe and the Middle East. She was arriving a the helicopter sent by Price Zatar Balizar. He has his own zoo which held rare or exotic animals that have been abused in hopes to release them back into the their wild. The ones like his Rhino with three legs could not be released but was made sure to have a happy home.
Alex had been around a lot of Princes, Kings, and people that had great wealth; they all seemed to be so full of themselves but it wasn’t them that she cared about it was the animals. Once she arrived she was taken to an enclosure where Zatar was with Sala the lioness that he loved dearly. She was pregnant but was listless and something was wrong with her and that caused him a great amount of worry. He could not believe that Alex was a woman and at first stayed in disbelief; however Alex had, had just about enough of the spoiled rich people that she had been encountering so she didn’t save word of politness or bow down to him and told him exactly what she thought. This in itself was something that the prince was not use to and was immediately drawn to her. She looked over the lioness and decided that all she needed was some special antibiotic that needed to be delivered. Zatar was not satisfied with just that he had her taken to one of the rooms and secured there he wanted her there for the birth of the cubs and also he wanted to get to know her a little bit better. T
Now what will happen when the King his father finds out that she is there. The King has been doing so very questionable things since the death of Zatar’s mother two years ago, things that did not help the country. Also there is the fact that he rejects any one and everyone that is not a part of his country. Will these two young people find love or will it just be an extended vacation of the vet from another country.

Prince Zatar wanted to save his pregnant lioness that he got as a gift from his mother. Alex is a vet and she loves exotic animals. When she arrives at the palace she is immediately taken to the zoo. One look at the lioness and she knows what's wrong and tells the prince what medicine to get for her. When Alex goes to leave Prince Zatar makes it known that she is to stay until his lioness has delivered her cubs. Angry at being kept there when she has a practice to run Alex stays in her room. Prince Zatar is attracted to the American woman he hopes will save his pet but when he father returns home suddenly he hides Alex because she won't be allowed to stay. One night is all it takes for them to give into temptation but will Zatar's father keep them apart?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Prince Zatar and Alex sizzles with each turn of the page. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Alex is an exotic animal veterinarian. Zatar is prince of Kattahar and owns a zoo that rehabilitates animals. His lioness is sick and pregnant and he sends for Alex. Alex checks out the lioness and prescribes some medicine and goes to leave. The meds must be ordered and Zatar keeps Alex there, against her wishes, until the medicine arrives and the animal starts feeling better. They have a sudden connection and the sparks fly between them. But his father, the King, disapproves and orders Alex away. Zatar disagrees with his father and the King leaves, leaving Zatar in charge. When an accident happens, Zatar must lead a country and hopefully with a Queen by his side.

I enjoyed reading the first book in this series (Desert Sheikh's), and am looking forward to reading the other 2. However, I do wish it were just a little longer. Just when I was getting into the story, it was over. The heroin (Dr. Alex Seaton) is a Vet that is called to the palace to care for the Sheikh's (Zatar) favorite lion named Sala. The real battle begins with the two of them and the instant attraction they have for each other. Alex has a chip on her shoulder and the Sheikh rules with an iron hand. The attraction grows and Zatar learns that women vets are Vets like the male species. Who's willpower will prove to be the strongest? Is Alex able to keep her heart in-tact while saving the Lioness and her cubs?

ONE AWESOME TALE!!!
Wow! Leslie brings it baby. Nobody does Sheikhs better than Leslie. She writes with such passion and great storylines it's easy to get lost in one of her page turning dynamo's. The plot flows as smooth as silk and draws you in so deep you don't want to leave it. All the twists and drama and a few bumps in the road make for one intriguing romance that keeps your attention until the last word. The characters are complex, believable and so realistic it felt like I could just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphic and descriptive it really brings this fantastic tale together beautifully. Leslie did an incredible job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Leslie, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

I am a huge fan of Leslie North and especially her Sheikh stories! Alexis is a vet who is summoned to care for Prince Zatar’s pregnant lioness Sala. Zatar wants Alexis to stay until the cubs are born and tells his guard to take her to the harem. Alexis hopes that girl power will get her out of the palace, but the harem will have nothing to do with helping Alexis. Zatar and Alexis’s interests bring them closer, but Zatar’s seduction of Alexis breaks her resolve of avoiding her client. But will Zatar’s father and harem destroy their chance at love? You have to read to find out and won’t want to put the book down until you finish!

I love Leslie North's book whether they are sheikhs or fire fighters she makes her characters come alive.
Sina the lioness is sick in fact she is very sick and her besotted owner Prince Zatar, heir to the throne of Kattahar calls in the best vet that he can Dr. Alex Seaton imagine his surprise when he discovers Alex is actually Alexis. He is used to getting his own way and isn't sure about a female vet but when she tries to leave he as her banned from travel. This annoys her but she does realise that it is because of his love for Sina. As they fight for Sina's life they begin to fall for one another but with the interference of his father do they have any chance at love

Oh gosh. This book...was just ok. Takes me back to those days when I would sneak off to read my mom's loveswept books. They were short and sometimes slightly unrealistic and just pure escapism.
Alex was great, independent, smart and knows what she wants. Zatar is goodlooking, and well, just ok. It was disappointing when he kept saying there are changes he wants to do in the country, and when his dad sort of left him in charge, what did he do? Take Alex out and around the country...so where was the devotion to his country? It was good he got rid of the harem but I was hoping he'd do more and be in some meeting with officials and all to make improvements... Oh well. Maybe after they're married it'll come.

The Sheikh's Royal Seduction is the first book in the Desert Sheikhs by Leslie North and a complete stand-alone. The book is written in the way Leslie North usually writes, but some stuff bothered me. Once Zatar gets over the fact that Alexis is a woman and she can help with Sala he forbids her to leave the premises and she is basically his captive. I was not a fan of that trope. Another thing I didn't like was how easily everything was resolved in the end. There wasn't a moment of worry and everything seemed to fall into place very easily and without much effort or communication from all parties. It wasn't awful and there were some parts I liked which is why I am giving it 3 stars and a read at your own risk recommendation.

Alex is an accomplished veterinarian, who's passion is exotic animals especially lions, when called in for an emergency pregnant lioness, she becomes a prisoner and much more to this Prince. Zatar's only concern is assuring that his Sala survives. His last thread to his Mother he will do anything including keeping the veterinarian in the harem. An intense book as you find out if the lioness and her cubs will survive, the heat meter is about a 7, and the turmoil and contention between father and son is dramatic. A really good short story that keeps the interest moving.

Her name is Alexis Seaton but she calls herself Alex. This caused Prince Zatar to think she was a male veterinarian. He doesnt trust that she might do a good job. Sparks fly between the two of them and they just cant resist each other . All thanx to Sala the lion who is pregnant and needs a healing touch from tge renowned healer Alex. The king, Zat's father doesnt really like foreigners, but Zatar is hell bent to have his girl. This is a must read. I took a day to finish it because I couldn't put it down.

Absolutely amazing!!! I voluntarily chose to read and review this arc. Leslie sets this story up really well a little too short but really good nonetheless.
Zarate and Alexis (Alex) are really good together despite their rocky beginning. She’s a vet called for exotic animals and he’s got one that’s in distress. A rocky beginning in a country that has a king with backwoods thinking has her head spinning in all directions. He on the other hand is nothing like his father.
Absolutely amazing and another must read to start off another series. Can’t wait to read the next book.

WOW! Turned out so much more than I expected. It is an absolutely fantastic contemporary romance. Prince Zatar is not your regular price, you love him right away. He is a huge animal lover and takes them in to care for ones that were mistreated. His lioness named Sala holds a special place in his heart and she is not well, and close to close having cubs. Zatar sends for an exotic animal veterinarian, and we get to meet Alex. We are taken on a journey that was easy to follow, I felt like I was right there with them. Extremely well written. I will be looking for more novels by this author. Must read!

Dr. Alexis and Prince Zatar's story was a fun read. They were brought together by Sala, the Prince's beloved lioness, as Alexis, an exotic wildlife veterinarian works to save her. Not drama filled, it was more of a sweet sexy story of two people from different cultures revolving around Alexis and Zatar, with a common goal, saving Sala. A short read, it was pure entertainment. I love books like this as it always gives me as a reader that aha moment of pure enjoyment. I would like to thank NetGalley and Relay Pub. for gifting me "The Sheikh's Royal Seduction". Author, Leslie North has written a contemporary romantic novella that is pure entertainment. The two principle characters, Dr Alexis and Prince Zatar, have an immediate chemistry with Alex's foul mouth and Zatar's gasping that he called for a male vet. Luckily they set aside their personalities for the sake of Salar the Lioness in distress and pregnant. They come to admire each other and more.
I like this novella and am recommending it. It's perfect for an evening read.

An almost instant connection between the main male and female characters. They had an inauspicious start but their path seemed to flow fairly smoothly on the journey to happy ever after. The story read well and the flow was good. There certainly were some great comments between the two main characters to begin with; amusing really. This was a quick read that this reader found to be quite charming.

I am such a big fan of Leslie North because she has such an amazing talent for writing! Especially writing interesting and unique storylines!! I found that the storyline in this book to be even "more" interesting and unique because the two main characters found themselves extremely attracted to each other not just based physical attraction but also based on a mutual interest of a love of animals. She also adds in that elemental romance and intense attraction and words/describes it so well that you actually feel it yourself!!

Alex has always strived to do whatever she can to help animals. Zatar loves animals and is determined to help them anyway he can. His father doesn't like foreigners. Will Alex be able to save his lion? Will Zatar be able to save animals and his country?
Definitely liked this insta-love story. I have to admit, I loved how Zatar wasn't a stuck up prince and how he stood up to his father for her. I loved how Alex was determined to see past the shell that Zatar put forth and was determined to do more good in the future. Good read!

Awesome contemporary sheikh romance. Prince Zatar has taken in animals that were mistreated. His favorite is a lioness named Sala. Sala is close to her date to have her cubs but she's suddenly having problems. Zatar sends for a well known exotic animal veterinarian. Alex diagnoses the problem but Zatar wants her to stay in case there are problems. There is a conflict going on between him and his father the king. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

This book is great if you are looking for a quick, fun read. This is a whirlwind romance of instant attraction.
At first, I wasn't sure if I liked this book, but it grew on me. Zatar seemed a little immature but after hearing his mother died and he was grieving her by trying to drown his sorrows in booze and women, he didn't seem that bad. Then, you find out that the harem girl lied about the father and son sharing the girls which was a relief!
Nice HEA and a successful birthing of the lion cubs!

I enjoy all Leslies books but have to admit the Sheikh ones are my favourite. Alex is a strong opinionated exotic animal vet brought in to help Zatars favourite Lioness who is dangerously ill. Zatar is an equally strong Sheilk used to getting all his own way. He expected Alex to be a man and thinking a woman not capable of doing the job intends to send her back staight away She intends to prove him wrong. Who will win?

I don’t know how she does it, but there is another new premise for this book. This time an extremely ill pregnant lioness is the force that brings them together in the first place. The amazing thing to me is that again the story does not seem the least bit contrived; it is actually possible. The characters as always are terrific as are the story and the writing.

Prince Zatar is sure his newly summoned exotic animal vet is a man until he lays eyes on the blonde ponytail wearing short shorts. One of his first questions to Alexis is, 'Why do you call yourself by a man's name?' Sala, the lioness his mother gave him on his 25th birthday is pregnant and sick. Alex prescibes the cure for Sala and Zatar in this first book of the Desert Sheikh's series! I enjoyed this read.

You will love reading Alex and Zatar's story. He favorite lioness is deathly ill and has called in Alex Seaton to help. Only Alex is not a man but a woman. So much passion and chemistry is between them that they can't resist it. Alex is wondering if it's all worth giving up for a one night stand. Strong characters and a great story line. I so can't wait to read more of this series too.
