First arc was actual ass, second was ok but I wish it could have been better third arc was so boring I was being for it to be over and the fourth one was fine but not enough to make up for how long this was 😐 I can appreciate how the author tied up the beginning's loose ends during the ending but brooooo I could not get behind this story I wish I liked it but it was dull and the ML lacked so much dimension and the MC too tbh

I liked the amount of cat content, and some of the scenes were quite cute. There was a bit of interesting plot. However, for the life of me, I could not continue reading this because there is almost no interesting or cohesive plot whatsoever. There are weird plot holes and important scenes done “off-screen.” I was so confused how the first arc ended. After a while of contemplation, I decided not to continue reading this book.

This was super fluffy! If you're a cat maniac like Gu Yan, then you'll love this book. If you like possessive, clingy characters, then you're going to love the ML. Also, if you like the author's other works like The King's Game and I'm Not Human, which has a sweet, doting relationship amongst the plot, then you'll like this book.

One of my absolutely favourite online c-novels. It's lovely, but also heartbreaking at times (bring your tissues and never look away). The romance is always consensual. And the male lead is always somehow a variety of cat (shapeshifting, a feline variety of demon, AI taking the form of a cat, etc.). The little cat gifs every chapter are an added bonus, thank you translator.
