Such a great story!

I always enjoy reading how Titus Ray handles both professional and private issues. This volume did not disappoint! It seems most appropriate that I read this book at the same time of the current situation in Turkey and Saudi Arabia about the missing journalist.

I'm looking forward to the next adventure!

This is Titus Ray at his best. Titus is shown growing in relationships, temperament, faith, and family. The installment has our hero spending less time on his adventures and more time invested in his relationships. Character development is paramount for multiple regulars in the bigger story line. Enjoy.

uhhWhat a tangled web

I consider Five Years in Yemen an excellent example of the ways plans can change even with the best laid plans. Titus Ray is such a unique individual and to see the changes in his spiritual life really shows a change every man needs to make. He touched so many other lives. I loved the examples the author so carefully crafted with her words in drawing others to listen to his testimony.
It broke my heart when people got killed. These deaths were so unexpected and made the danger in Titus Day's life and occupation as a CIA officer very believable. One wonders how he can honestly believe a marriage to Nikki is a good decision with the danger that surrounds him.
This book was definitely another great thriller. It has its place in the series written by a prolific author I can't get enough of name Luana Ehrlich. No reader can be disappointed with any of her stories!

Five Yearsts in Yemen give Stars in my view.

This like the others in the Titus Ray series deserves five stars, the characters are now like good friends well not the D.D.O . obviously but Titus, Nikki, Douglas and Mitchell plus some other old friends and a couple of new ones, yes you noticed I'm on first name terms with his boss how cool is that.
The action feels real and that's always a good thing puts the way Titus's faith is growing is both natural (in the supernatural way out should be) and bet believable and the challenge off having a job were a major part of it has to be lying to people in order to survive is becoming a real issue for him. I enjoy these aspects of the story along with the main story line and the defence of the USA even thou I'm English (one of the lets leave Europe soon as pos route of English)
Yes this is a great read and i can't wait till August for the next instalment.

Yemen is Not A Good Place To Vacation
This book is the 5th in a clean, Christian series. The stories have no foul language, gore, or sex. There is violence, of course, but only enough to work the story. Our hero is a covert CIA operative who is also a newly minted-Christian. He is trying to live a Christian life as he lives lies and kills people. It isn't easy! These are great stories with plausible and logical plots. Our hero is not a superman, but he is skilled. Each book is a complete mission, but there is a continual development of personalities that makes it better to read the books in order. I have been binge-reading the series and can't wait to start the next book.

As with all of Mrs. Ehrlich's books, the latest in the Titus Ray series is very clean in content and well written. No swearing, gruesome descriptions, sex, etc. I also like how well-researched her books seem to be.

I always enjoy the subtle humor woven throughout the series, as well as Titus's attempts to juggle his life as a new Christian with his work as a CIA agent. (When is it OK to lie, and when is it not -- especially when you've never had to distinguish between lies in professional and personal life before?)

I'm already looking forward to the next book.

Another great Titus Ray thriller, but not as great, I thought, because it seemed a little slower and the storyline didn't engage me as the other novels did in the series. In other words, I wasn't that emotionally invested that a scientist with Top Secret information who disappeared in another country be found and returned to the U.S. Still, the positive is that it was a very good story, well written, and with great characters, all of which carried me along. Well worth the read, but I recommend reading the first three initially because they are connected.

CIA agent Titus Ray is sent to war-torn Yemen leading a four-person team in a sensitive operation. The goal of the operation is to bring back to the US an American scientist, Jacob Levin. After mysteriously disappearing in Iraq, Levin has spent the last five years developing an anti-drone device for the Saudis.

After the mission Titus is faced with some big decisions, starting with the plans for his upcoming wedding with Nikki Saxon. A number of situations, during and after the mission, test his faith as a new Christian.

Another Winner! I am so in love with Titus Ray. I love his covert missions and all the the characters involved in the stories. These books are so easy read and it has twists and turns that make it impossible to put down. I was up until midnight finishing this one. It was an emotional roller coaster for sure. I can't wait until the next one in the series. I highly recommend this book to all spy thriller readers who enjoy some romance.

A Difficult Journey

Although Titus Ray was supposed to be on a three month vacation, he barely made it home to Oklahoma before he was called back to Langley for a top secret assignment. He was asked to go to Yemen to retrieve a genius who had been thought dead until a recent picture of him showed up overseas. The mission is an extremely dangerous one. It's also one which will change his life forever. Not a story to be missed!

No, Titus was Not in Yemen Five Years

Titus was sent to Yemen to get a scientist who spent five years there. Of course, there are a lot of details to work out since this is interdepartmental operation. There are times when Titus is trying to work on the job of getting Jacob out of Yemen when his mind is turning to his beautiful fiancee Nikki. It's a short, but terrifying extraction. Then there is an eight year old girl in the middle of the end. Definitely read.

Another great story! This one has more before the mission than during. At least it felt that way. It was still very interesting and good and I enjoyed it. Titus is growing in his Christian walk and I'm loving it! And I still like Nikki! There is a situation in the book that I still don't quite like, but I really like the ending and all of that.
Now I need to move on to the next book because I have to know what Titus and Nikki decide!

I can't wait to see how God uses Titus next

I've read all of the Titus Ray books. Not just another action figure with unbelievable adventures, but a glimpse into the life of a man that has come to know Christ. The story of how God can change so many things in our lives is very inspirational.

This is another great Titus Ray book in the series! I chuckle at the dry humor and the obvious plot hints (which still leave you guessing what's coming). Ehrlich does such a good job! I have a hard time putting her books down, and this one is as good as the others. I can hardly wait until the next one!

I want more!!

I love this book. I was so sad to finish... I want the next one NOW!
What a emotional rollercoaster; I was happy, worry, scarded, confident, shocked, angry and sad all with in two paragraphs.
I need the next book sooner rather than later, the anticipation is killing me.

I have to say that the first 2/3 of the book was okay the usually getting ready for a mission but what kept me reading was the development of Titus. How his faith changes how he looked at everything. Loved how we keep seeing characters from previous books and how they have changed as well. Looking forward to the next book.

The "rescue" of an American in Yemen by Titus Ray

A well written story involving Titus Ray and associates traveling to Yemen to bring home an American computer whiz who disappeared five years ago while supposedly helping the Saudis build a drone detection armament. A good story. Recommended reading.

Enjoyable

Still loving the Titus Ray adventures. I understand the need to give character background repeatedly throughout the series as a refresher and to make each book a stand alone read. But the repetition is sometimes distracting. Not a criticism--just an observation. Keep three great books coming.

Great read ... couldn't put it down.

Five years in Yemen was the perfect blend of intrigue, action, compassion, romance and just plain down to earth living. I especially enjoyed Titus Rays sharing his new found Christian faith so openly with others. I'm looking forward to reading his next adventure, "Two Steps Forward".

Yemen Thriller

The most powerful book yet in this series. The author makes the characters come alive. Titus Ray is truly an operative eith a heart. The character development and the intensity of the interpersonal relationships is what makes this series special.

4.5 stars. For some reason, it took me a while to get into the story at first. Once all the characters and plot was set, it developed into a fascinating story, especially with Titus’s quiet but steadfast faith and testimony. The end was especially satisfying.

I struggled with the first half of the book, it was a little slow, but LOVED the second half of the book. Finished the 2nd half in less than a week and the first half took about 5 weeks to get through. Clean and inspiring. I love Titus Ray!!! I am a huge fan and spread the word far and wide!!!

The evolution of Titus Ray

In this book, Titus Ray continues to develop into a kinder, less selfish, person. He now thinks before doing anything brash. I cannot wait to read the next book!

A clean "burn-the-midnight-oil to finish" spy story with a helping of romance.

I have enjoyed reading this series and hope it will continue through many more books. The plot and characters are quite believable and make for a very interesting read. I recommend this series to all.
