Как сказал полковник Дэвид Хэкворт: "Не утруждайте себя запутанной двойной болтовней Клаузевица, а сделайте своей библией Искусство войны Сунь-Цзы.". Кто бы спорил - действительно, Сунь-Цзы и сейчас почти целиком актуален, тогда как Клаузевиц процентов на 60 устарел ещё при жизни автора.
Но тут на выручку совершенно не нуждавшемуся в таких услугах "Искусству войны" приходит помощь откуда не ждали: Лиддел Гарт берётся пересказывать суть трактата хуже оригинала, обильно искажая или даже просто игнорируя факты, чтобы "доказать" "свою" "правоту".
В общем, этой запутанной двойной болтовнёй тоже можно не утруждать себя ни военным, ни гражданским.

Very good review of the wars with the interesting and logical conclusions
