I've always been intrigued by the oldest of the Heart Clan, Miles. I loved his character so much! He was such a strong person to be able to raise his younger brothers and sister when a horrific tragedy occurred in their family involving their father and mother... If you haven't read the series, then go ahead and find out what makes these Hearts' feel the way they feel when love strikes at them; fear and not wanting to be in a relationship that its Toxic like their parents makes them to make some mistakes but at the end, everything always works out and that's exactly what happens to Miles... love strikes him when he least expected it, with the person he least expected to fall for; Jacquie, Kennedy's mother (Kennedy is married to Sterling) a mother whose mistakes had consequences, a person misunderstood by everyone that has surrounded her and a woman trying to be a better person, mother, grandmother. I felt for both Jacquie and Miles. I felt their loneliness and their longing for something they thought they would never have but fate had other plans for these two and I'm so glad they were destined to be together and how happy they made each other ♡♡
I must admit, I cried when I read some of the scenes where Miles spoke about what happened to his parents and how he didn't want to become like them and how understanding Jacquie was of this delicate subject and she never wavered or never once doubted that Miles was different from his parents. She saw how dedicated he was to his tattoo family shop, his siblings and knew deep within her heart that this Man was for her. Miles never wavered in how he felt for Jacquie, even when she told him her story; he didn't see a bad person but a person willing to change for the better and most importantly, he saw the woman of his life, his forever ♡
We learn some things in this story too, like what's going on with Chip, which we already had an inkling when reading Rose and Max's story but I'm definitely not spoiling anything for you guys so go ahead and read their story to find out what I'm talking about, you won't regret it ;) Now, I've got to say that I completely fell in love with Miles and his Jax's (Miles's nickname for his woman) epilogue! It was everything I like to read about when I reach the end of a good story, either long or short as the story may be, I'm a fan of happily ever afters and this one was freaking AWESOME!!♡♡
I have wanted to read Miles and Jacquie’s book since she was featured in Kennedy’s story. This story is short, fast paced and sweet. I really like Miles. He wasn’t looking for love but as soon as he saw Jacquie, he knew she was the one for him. I liked Jacquie. I liked that she had realised the error of her ways and was starting to bond with her daughter Kennedy. As soon as she saw Miles, she wanted him. The chemistry between Miles and Jacquie was clear to see and I really liked them as a couple. I liked that Miles and Jacquie both got the happily ever after they both deserved. I liked the entire story but the ending was my favourite. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Review: This is the 4th book in the Queen of Hearts Ink Series. This is a spinoff of the Moosehead Minnesota Series! It can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the other Moosehead books to understand this story better.
Miles and Jax was Insta-love, insta everything. They were meant to be together from the begining. The pull they had was no match for their insecurities. The tale was sweet and heart warming.
A different pace from the other stories in the series, but with all the Alpha Hero goodness. I was so happy to see these two lost souls find their happily ever after. Especially Miles who endured what most people couldn't deal with. Also Jax's story really hit me in the heart strings.
I've wanted to know more about Miles and why he's so dark for lack of a better word. Kitty, I didn't think I was going to like, but was I wrong. Life hadn't been kind to Kitty but she did what she had to do. Found a new respect for her. I really enjoyed reading about Miles and his family and watching him fall for Kitty. I loved that they were older and still that instant connection. Loved the ending so did not see that coming!! 😂😂😂
Miles and Jax. Two lonely souls who put their love of family before all else for years. A chance meeting has them finally putting themselves first. A fast paced, well written, short story tying together the Ink Me and Moosehead series.
Sweet fast read from M.K. Moore. Ink Me is Miles and Jacquie story. Miles has sacrificed so much for his family. Jacquie is a broken soul trying to do right. Loved this sweet story.
I'm glad to finally read this one it's been hinted about in some of the previous books and it was driving me crazy. I'm happy they found each other. A beautiful story.
There is something magical that happens when 2 people who have put their lives on hold for others finally get something for themselves. It is a beautiful love story.
I'm glad Miles got his happily ever after, he deserved it. I wonder what was so scary about Chip's life and his wife. Jax deserved every happiness after her failed marriage.
