Glad this was a library read. I love boho style decorating and was looking for inspiration. This is more the global part of the title than the bohemian in terms of style. It's a large book with tons of photos and there are some interesting homes. They're not my style for the most part but it was an interesting read.

Really loved something on every page.Global Bohemian showcased some rooms done up in deep ,moody color and others in expected white,but my favorite was the whisper soft breath-of-color walls briming with interesting stuff adorning them. So many pretty fabrics and pattern and lots of plants and art! My only unloved feature was prominent display of Buddha in almost every home! Otherwise,such energetic yet easy style beckoned from each page. This book deserves to be page through multiple times to be sure to not miss any fun detail.

A feast for the eyes! The entirety of the book centers around the boho decor theme; what elements specifically make up that vibe and how to capture it in your own style. The book branches out into showcasing different flavors of boho, combining it with multiple other styles. They have a section devoted to each of the following styles: Vintage Bohemian, Sophisticated Boho, Artistic Boho, Ethnic Boho, Tropical Boho, The Wanderer, The Scandi Bohemian, The Romantic Boho, Beach Boho, Creative Boho, The Free Spirit, and finally the Fashionable Boho. If you have boho as a base for your taste, there should be something here for everyone! I took pictures for styling ideas to incorporate in my own world. Lovely, rich coffee table book and visual inspiration.

Bohemian is definitely my style, and I love seeing other people's collections, so this one was a win-win for me.



There is a certain sameness to many of the featured homes, so many readers may tire of photos of yet another grouping of exotic pillows and native textiles, so - be warned.

This was an enjoyable (and beautifully photographed!) introduction to bohemian style, in all its iterations. I got the most out of the pictures themselves, and the text was an added bonus (which I'll admit I skimmed). I was most surprised at how broad the style is as a whole, and it really got me thinking about my own style and how I can turn it into a cohesive look.

4 stars for the sections on loft decorating. Accessible design for realistic budgets throughout this book. Nothing new here but definitely worth checking out from your library or perhaps buying if you’re a huge bohemian style fan.

Many of the rooms were too busy for my taste. I prefer less and a more controlled color palette. Perhaps it’s just what I like. There were three houses I did like. The many others were just too busy or colorful for my preference.

Loved this book so much. Got so much inspiration for my own home, but mostly in the sense that I love what I already have. I tweaked a few things (like displaying collections) but mostly just love the imperfect space I’m in that really feels like me.
