YARD SALE: Is a quick novella which was previously releases in ‘The Team Player Anthology’ by Charleigh Rose. In this we meet Camden Hess & Mollie
I went into this knowing that it was a short novella, but damn once I started reading I just wanted to sped more time with these characters, I loved these two together, their first meeting brought on all the feels, #trickster brought him down a peg or two.
Cam first started off as an enthusiastic skate boarder but once he set foot on the white powdery slopes that's where his heart was cemented. At twenty-six he was in his prime, professionally and as a happy go lucky single guy on the loose not wanting to settle down anytime soon.
Twenty-two year old Mollie is at loose ends, job wise and boyfriendless wise, she's out to forget all her worries and wants just one night of reckless abandonment. That one night changed the course of both their lives.
Sugary Sweet, Short and Sexy, Sizzling hotness that oozed off the pages, an enjoyable read. A super quick dirty read that was full of so much swoon time.

Updated review 7/23/18 - DUDE. I just re-read Yard Sale, and Cam and Mollie are just as AMAZING as they were months ago. ALSO the extended epilogue is everything. We get to catch up with just about everyone from the Bad Love series, and some moment had me melting. Also there is a sneak peek at Charleigh Rose’s next book Rewrite The Stars. Just from the glimpse at the prologue I KNOW that book is going to be everything. Can’t wait!
12/28/17 - I was lucky enough to read an early version of Yard Sale by Charleigh Rose. A hot pro snowboarder and a girl visiting from out of town. Their story is meant to be a ONS, but it turns into so much more. Absolutely loved Cam and Mollie. The author does a great job combining their playful relationship and their lusty attraction. Plus, Charleigh Rose throws some unexpected goodness in there as well with the plot, and some side characters her readers will recognize from other books! All in all a great, fun, and hot read!

Best novella I’ve read in a long time. It’s sexy af. Hot. Damn. The page space used very well. It’s hard to get strong development out of a novella, but she did it. I just wish there was more. My first time reading this author but definitely not the last!

Yard Sale was a quick and sexy story about Cam and Molly, who we met in Bad Intentions. I had wondered what their back story was and I'm so happy that we got to hear it! And while this was a novella, it sure didn't feel like one. There was so much emotion and story packed into the pages that it showed me again why I have fallen so hard for this author. Charleigh Rose creates stories that become entrenched in my heart and I love every minute of it!
Cam aka Camden Hess was a professional snowboarder doing his own thing. One night stands, riding hard and hanging with his buddies was his world. He had never wanted more from a woman than just a night, until he met Mollie Mabey. They met in a bar and I loved the games they played with each other. There was attraction, lust and while Mollie felt it too, she didn't make it easy for Cam. I loved how she made him work for her!
I liked Mollie right away. She had sass and didn't fall all over Cam, like every other female seemed to do. And when Mollie quoted Cher Horowitz from Clueless, she became an instant favorite of mine. Plus, I adored her family and I knew she was good people since Sutton was her friend. If you haven't read Bad Intentions, Sutton was one of the friends in that book and she was kick ass, just like Mollie.
Cam and Mollie ended up having a one night stand and it was hot but also oh so dirty and kinky. After that night, she left. They didn't think they would ever see each other again, but fate had other plans. That's all I can say there, but I have to gush about Cam. You're going to love him! Cam warmed my heart and quickly stole it. He was genuine and fierce. He loved so strongly and he went after what he wanted. And when he was with Mollie, together they made me smile and laugh.
Yard Sale can easily be read as a standalone, but there were epilogues in the back for the couples in Bad Habit and Bad Intentions. So definitely don't read that part of the story, if you haven't read those books first. There were huge spoilers. So of course I recommend this book and I'm so happy I have found another author that goes on my I will buy every single book they ever release list!
PS The shops, the ice arena, the gondola, the lake, oh my gosh she was describing right by where I live. Not only do the descriptions make the scenery leap off the pages, but it makes me so happy reading about places that hold such a special place in my heart.

Yard Sale was my first Charleigh Rose book, but it definitely won't be my last! I'm honestly so bummed that YARD SALE was a novella because man this would've been amazing as a full length novel. The chemistry between Mollie and Cam was very much off the charts, the plot line was actually well done, and their happily ever after didn't feel rushed (even though this was a novella).

This was a seriously fun book that had all the tropes and they actually worked for me. So, hey CHARLEIGH ROSE if you're ever bored one day and have nothing to do you should totally expand this into a full length story ;)

🏂✨ - The sexy times were sexy and I enjoyed them. But I honestly thought the way she got to be the greatest! The fact that they pulled a Love Rosie was TRULY brilliant.
Also this is one of the first instances of
🏂✨ - I was invested in Mollie and Cam's relationship. These two had instant chemistry and I was really rooting for them. It takes a lot of talent to get us invested in a relationship that has .5 seconds to develop! So kudos to you CHARLEIGH ROSE !

I love Charleigh Rose’s writing! It’s crisp, engaging, and her books are sexy AF. That’s pretty much what I look for anytime I pick a new romance novel. So, she’s quickly becoming a go to author.
Cam and Mollie’s story is short, but is no less entertaining. I enjoyed the trope. I enjoyed seeing characters I’ve met in previous books. And, as mentioned before, it’s sexy AF. Pretty much, the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the length. I wanted more. You can never have too much of a good thing, right? 😉

I rarely rate 2-stars. I tried to like the story but I didn't enjoy most part of it. I didn't like both H and h. More the h. I had to stop for awhile so I can finish the story.
It's about Cam and Mollie.
She just lost her job then she found her fake boyfriend with another woman. She went to River's Edge for a family vacation. When her friend passed out, she went to a bar alone.
He's a professional snowboarder. He's at the bar with his friends and when she walked in, he can't look away. He made his move but she blew him off. Will he give up or will he pursue her?
He's a manwhore and he's not ashamed of it. And correct me if I'm wrong but it looked like he's not celibate during their separation. He's better than Mollie though. I didn't like her at all.
It has nice epilogues.

Yard Sale is set in the Bad Love series world. It is a 8 chapter + 2 epilogues novella which overall was doable to read in one sitting. Specifically, this novella has been sitting on my Kindle for awhile and I decided to finally give it a read. Generally, I have mixed emotions of Charleigh Rose books with I either 'like it' or it is 'eh.' Unfortunately, Yard Sale fell to the 'eh' side.
BRIEF STORY PLOT
Mollie Mabey (h) lost both her "boyfriend" and job in the same day. She set out to have a night of fun by going to a bar in River Edge. She meets Camden 'Cam' Hess (H) and instantly they have a connection. They hook up and do not see each other until ~4 months later where everything has changed — Mollie is pregnant and Cam lost his dream career of professional snowboarding. Finally, Mollie tells Cam, well, she is pushed into telling Cam that she is pregnant with his kid. The drama itself is short lived and these two work through a lot to prepare for a child that will tie them together forever.

Overall, I found her to be frustrating with not telling Cam about the pregnant, she waited 4 months. But I guess it is alright since he was spiraling... so ✨ maybe the timing gods were on her side.✨ idk. . . Nevertheless, I did think that Cam finding out the way he did was written to give the shock effect value for the purpose to increase drama to the story which I found to be meh.

He was the quintessential bad boy player that was knocked on his ass by a girl, very unexpectedly. What I liked about Cam was once he wrapped his head around that he was going to be a dad, he was very supportive and stepped up into the father role.
I do wish we got to see how he worked towards entering his professional again because it was more of a 'telling' than 'showing.' I felt his career was a big part of his identity as a character and should of been included to SHOW readers how he worked towards that goal.

➳ After their first time, it was predictable that she was going to be pregnant (e.g., her being on antibiotics still and the condom slipping off). However, what I liked about this moment was it had some humor to it that reminded me of Love, Rosie and overall felt realistic.
➳ I felt that Cam's career was different as I feel snowboarding is a professional sport that is underrated
➳ Mollie's family reactions were hilarious! I liked that each family member reacted in a different way to Cam being the father of her unborn child
➳ I LOVED the extended epilogue with Asher. It was sorta random but I thought it was really sweet & left it open to maybe a novella about Briar & Asher or Briar's brother, Dash.
✰ Why did I rate it only a 2.5 Stars though? ✰
↳ This story is HIGH on the smut level. That being said, this novella presented Cam and Mollie's relationship as sex = love and focused more on the steam factor than dialogue and getting to know each other. Sure, this was a one night stand but after Cam found out Mollie was pregnant they worked through her not telling him via having sex a lot. Overall, Cam & Mollie's relationship lacked development in all aspects, except pleasure.

Charleigh Rose has easily become one of my favorite authors and I can always count on her books to bring angst and a whole lot of steam. I am happy to report that Yard Sale, though a novella, managed to bring plenty of both!
After losing her job and her fake boyfriend, Mollie needs something to take her mind off of her failing life. And one night with a bad boy is just what she needs. She was never supposed to see him again. Unfortunately, Mollie has a secret that Cam, the snowboarding bad boy she hooked up with, is bound to uncover. And that secret will connect them forever.
Right from the start, this novella brought the heat between Cam and Mollie. I loved how insistent Cam was and how he would not take no for an answer from Mollie. Their banter was so fun and things definitely heated up between those two!
I will say, during the time jump, it was a little hard to believe the emotions Cam and Mollie felt for one another had progressed that quickly in such a short amount of time that they knew each other. This is a novella, so things do progress quicker than they do in normal novels, but I think that the emotional level of their relationship progressed too fast for my liking.
Overall, this was a hot and fun novella that had everything I love about Charleigh Rose's writing. I loved the setting at a ski resort and how complex these characters became in such a short amount of time. When I was done, I was only left wanting more!

Cam is a tattooed professional snowboarder, famed for throwing the hardest tricks and bagging the hottest girls. When he's not slope side or riding his skateboard he's throwing drinks back with his friends and padding his player reputation. When sweet, teary eyed Mollie caught his eye he went for it, finding her sass charming and her tears a problem to fix. She thinks a one night stand could fix it all and who wouldn't want a bad boy. She throws caution to the wind spending the night happy, confident, and in a haze of lust. When she sneaks out in the morning she thinks it's the last of them, but she couldn't be more wrong.
You can always count on Charleigh Rose to give you something sexy, dirty, and laugh out loud funny. Novellas are difficult to make convincing, they either tell a quick story with a cliffhanger that makes you desperate or too much is packed in to make it believable. Charleigh Rose embraces the challenge, taking romance reader's favorite tropes and making them work in Yard Sale. It's classic bad boy meets good girl, revealing a sweeter side to himself, a naughtier side to her, and a blissful future together. It also lends itself to some humor, with tears, impromptu lake side making out, and Cam getting his words handed back to him. I really liked both characters, I was able to picture them instantly and found them perfect together. I would take Cam fawning over me in a heartbeat. Yes, it's a quick read, a fantasy type of story like the kind you dream up in your head about your favorite actor falling head over heels for you randomly, but it's a fantastic escape. Plus, if you've read Bad Habit and Bad Intention you'll be happy to read the extended epilogues she has included at the end.

Charleigh Rose embraces the challenge, taking romance reader's favorite tropes and making them work in Yard Sale. It's classic bad boy meets good girl, revealing a sweeter side to himself, a naughtier side to her, and a blissful future together. It also lends itself to some humor, with tears, impromptu lake side making out, and Cam getting his words handed back to him. I really liked both characters, I was able to picture them instantly and found them perfect together. I would take Cam fawning over me in a heartbeat. Yes, it's a quick read, a fantasy type of story like the kind you dream up in your head about your favorite actor falling head over heels for you randomly, but it's a fantastic escape. Plus, if you've read Bad Habit and Bad Intention you'll be happy to read the extended epilogues she has included at the end.

Why has it taken me this long to finally read something written by Charleigh Rose?! Someone slap me, because I have been doing a disservice to myself.
Yard Sale contains an extended epilogue, as well as the enthralling excerpt to Charleigh Rose's upcoming release, Rewrite the Stars. While the extended epilogue features characters from Bad Habit and Bad Intentions, you don't need to have read those stories to follow along the extended epilogue. I haven't read either story, yet the brief amount of information we're given is enough to follow along and appreciate where the characters are at in life!
And the excerpt for Rewrite the Stars is so intriguing. Who would've thought a romance set amongst the carnival could be capturing? I'm keen to read Evan and Sebastian’s interesting romance.

Of course, there is also Camden and Mollie’s sweet and passionate encounter. From scorching and tantalizing scenes, to tender moments, it is easy to fall in love with this couple.
Needing a distraction after losing her job and her boyfriend, Mollie wants a rebound. And who is more perfect than Camden, a charming and tattoo covered professional snowboarder?
I normally don't find novellas enjoyable because more often than not the pacing is off and everything is rushed. But Charleigh Rose did wonderfully keeping an even pace and unfurling details bit by bit, keeping the transition from lust to love believable.

Boy, oh boy, how I love Cam! God, he is complete and total hero perfection. An athletic body, the perfect amount of arrogance and swagger, and the big heart underneath will have readers swooning. There is not literally one thing in this novel that he did that didn’t hit the right spot.
Mollie is so sassy from the moment readers meet her. She can go toe to toe with Cam, and that makes her my favorite type of heroine. I love her freedom in the bedroom, and her choices that follow after. She is the type of heroine I want to be friends with.
The pacing of this novella is perfect. It moves quickly, transitioning from lust to love, but Charleigh Rose got me to invest in them as a couple and cheer for them to get together. The snapshot is enough to entertain me, heat me up, and sigh at the romance between these two. With the new epilogue and the extended epilogue, Charleigh Rose has created novella perfection. We get the whole HEA package, plus a look at some of our favorite Bad Habit characters.

I absolutely loved "Yard Sale"! It is so so so Good!!! Cam and Mollie are everything!!! I love them both so much!! This story was everything!!! Cam and Mollie are both amazing characters and together they are fantastic!! This book was so freaking HOT!! I swear I was blushing hard core reading about this sexy as sin couple!! The connection between them is instant and the chemistry is off the charts!!! I just love everything about this book! How they first meet was freaking amazing and had me falling in love with Mollie!! She is such a badass! Cam is hot as fuck!! He is so freaking confidant and sexy! He takes what he wants and doesn't take no for an answer!! Together they are electric! I am so in LOVE with this story!! I can't get enough of Cam and Mollie!! This Novella was everything!! I Loved it so much! It makes me so happy!! I could literally read this over and over again! Cam is a professional snowboarder, attached to his brother and friends who are more than friends, they are his family. Living the good life between sport success, one-night girls and emotions.
Molly is from San Francisco, she lives a strange life that just fell on her lap, with a boyfriend she doesn't love, and with a life that is not what she wants for herself, until she reaches River's Edge and something hits her in a beautiful way.
One night adventure? Destiny? Love?
Friendship, sex and lots of snow in a novel that will make you go for new panties.
You just have to read it, it's totally delicious every piece of information excites you, and seeing the rest of the group in the middle of their own stories will cause you butterflies in your belly.
To make delivery even more juicy, she gives us two epilogues one of our sexy Asher (Bad Habit) and another of my beloved Dare (Bad Intentions). And as if this were not enough, there is an excerpt from her next book Rewrite the Stars, which looks like my next favorite book.
I don't know how Charleigh Rose does to give us so much in her books and everything she writes, they are hot, passionate, real, and they make you want to lock her in a room and force her to write daily forever, (no sociopath here haha).

I loved everything about this story. HAF Witty Snowboarder anyone!! You get the heat you expect from a Charleigh Rose story, and you also get a great big dose of sweet. Add in some laughs, a dash of angst, a major plot twist before you get your HEA and you've got a fantastic story. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a tasty novella.

I loved this novella.
I’m one of the few who didn’t get to read the sports anthology which had a part of this story in it.
It was my first time meeting Cam and Mollie. I’ve obviously seen them in Charleigh Rose’s other books, but this was my first look into their story.
This was fun, short, delicious read. Charleigh Rose always knows how to give us the steam. The chemistry between Cam and Mollie flew off the pages.
From their first interaction, that was too adorable and sly on both parts, to running into each other after some time with the obvious “avoidance in plain sight,” and the big bomb dropped with reactions, I enjoyed it all.
I was laughing and swooning throughout the entire novella.
You will love the Asher mini epilogue AND Dare’s, as well. Mrs. Rose always reminding us of our resident, drool worthy bad boys.
And, getting a sneak peak into Rewrite the Stars... #NoWords
Last thing... I’m still waiting for a Jesse book!!!

For awhile now, I’ve seen many good reviews about this author all over social media and how well written all of her work is which led me to this mini short story. I can understand the hype because I enjoyed her writing. It was easy to comprehend and the flow of the book was decent but it felt quite rushed even if it’s a short story. The only good thing I enjoyed of this book was the sex and its amazing details. But there was little to no chemistry between both MC’s and I’m not a fan of the pregnancy trope especially midway through a book.

A very hot, quick read. Usually I do not like short stories because they have little depth, but this was done really well. Cam and Mollie meet at a bar for a one night stand, they were not “standing” very long, they got horizontal real quick and then things started to heat up. Cam has more talents than just snowboarding! I am keen to read more from this author.

I love Charleigh Rose. I love her books. I love her characters. I loved Yard Sale. And I’m pretty sure I’ll continue to love every single book she writes.
Yard Sale was a sweet and sexy novella and I’m still craving more. I’m not always a fan of novellas but this one was amazing.
Cam was a sweet, dirty talker. He had the tattoos. The hair. Did I mention the dirty talk? He was pretty damn perfect.
We also get to see some of our other favorite characters; Dare, Asher, JESSE (my boyfriend), Adrian (my second boyfriend)
Plus, we get a little tease for Charleigh’s new book coming soon. All I gotta say is, I’m ready to meet Sebastian. 😈

After rereading this novella, as I first read it as part of an Anthology, it really is a HOT, steamy quick read! I don't know how Charleigh Rose was able to make 8 chapters so deliciously SCORCHING!
I feel this gif adequately shows Cam's obsession with Mollie's anatomy hehe....

It has all the elements of an addictive read that you crave more. The author even added an Extended Epilogue giving us updates on her other characters in this group of friends.

Camden Hess and Mollie Mabey are EVERYTHING!!!!!! I never got the chance to read this novella when it was part of the Team Player anthology, but not that its here, i have to say that it was so worth the wait. These two have ridiculous amounts of chemistry, right from the offset, and YARD SALE turns into one hella steamy love story. It was so good to catch up with the rest of the Bad Love crew and get those extended epilogues for Asher and Briar, and Dare and Lo.
Charleigh Rose has really come into her own as a writer, and I am truly excited for whatever she has planned next.
