As the daughter of a veteran whom would not share what he saw during the war, I devoured this book. It was good to read a little of what so many went through, how young some were, and to read some of what the soldiers did to keep their spirits up. I for one am proud to be Canadian and I thoroughly suggest this book to every Canadian!
