More of the same themes from Kot but with a totally different and unexpected art style. The backup story was great.

An intriguing world. It is set just far enough in the future to not be now, but close enough that the present of 2018 still echoes (ominously, in my opinion) in that future.

I enjoyed exploring the world through this issue. As often happens, #1 ended with a bit of a twist. And, as also often happens, that leaves me unsure what that means for the title: How will the twist change the tone and feel of the title? And that question is unanswerable, at least until I get to read #2!

Begining of an occult mystery.

Good color artwork,an image freebie. Soft of a moody, Ghost Whisperer. The Chinese hero is always going to be alienated by rich white people.
