I'm generally not into coffee table books or picture books. This one is different. If you spent enough time studying EJ, you'll find that there is a frailty behind the mask. You just have to peel it back one layer at a time. Read it.
Great pictures of EJ through the years. Really enjoyed this trip down memory lane. If I had one disappointment it's that it doesn't have many pics of his band or enough background facts to support the superb photos.
Amazing pictures, taken by Terry O'Neill starting with 1972. Discovering this book as coffee table read in a restaurant was a wonderful bonus for missing my train :)
I literally have 700 photos of elton saved on my phone (do NOT ask) and this book still contains quite a few i haven't seen. Plus i love the added context of the captions by someone who was there.
