Arden Pearson loves planning weddings. Other people's weddings, that is. After her own engagement ended in disaster, she prefers to live vicariously through her work. But when she needs to persuade a big client that she’s capable of planning the celebrity wedding of the year, she’s willing to go as far as pretending to be engaged herself to her best friend’s older brother.

Soon their ruse has everyone in town believing they make the perfect couple—including Arden. She’s always been nothing more than a kid sister to Wade, and it might take a village to convince him otherwise...

It’s been a while since I’ve read a book by Jennifer Shirk and I’m scratching my head as to why because she always delivers a light, engaging romance with endearing characters. Even more so when the couple in question are a Doctor Who loving, bespectacled, widowed veterinarian and his sister’s best-friend who may plan weddings for a living, yet having being left at the alter herself, has sworn off men.

description They were practically two relationship-dysfunctional peas in a pod.”

I have to confess, the fauxmance trope isn’t one of my favourites and a deceased spouse can make or break a story for me, but Shirk does a fabulous job in bringing her reader a heartfelt romance between Wade and Arden as they fool the town that they’re dating, and have some fun together whilst doing so.

description

Whether at home or away, Catch Him If You Can is a perfect read for summer, or any season for that matter, and whilst the second in the Accidentally Yours series, can easily be read as a stand-alone. I won’t be leaving it so long before I read a Jennifer Shirk novel again.

description I want an animal happy to see me and to lick my face when I come home and to snuggle with at night.

Jennifer Shirk is an autobuy author for me, I just love her books! So mark your calendars for August 13, because you'll want to grab this one and devour it like I did!

I've really come to love the whole "fake relationship" troupe and thought this was one of the best ones I've read so far. Wade and Arden have known each other for a long time and their reasons for faking a relationship seemed realistic and I liked how it was written. They have a natural chemistry that just jumps off the pages. The story really unfolded in smooth, believable stages which kept me glued to the pages wondering how things were going to play out.

This was definitely a fun, well written story with very likable characters and a very swoony romance. Overall, it had everything I look for in a book! This has been such a fun series, I can't wait to read the next book.

Hi, yes, I've read this book.
Actually, I've read this book MANY times over since I wrote it. :-)

A lot of firsts with this book:
my first veterinarian hero, my first hero with glasses, my first hero who is a Dr. Who fan, and my first book with a DOG on the cover. (Really happy about that last one, by the way)

Hope you enjoy the Hallmark-esque moments of Wade and Arden's story.

After the passing of his wife, Wade Roberts has sworn off love. There is no way he'll ever put his heart out there again. He'd be setting himself up to be crushed. No one should have to go through what he went through. He dates but the women know going into it that nothing serious will ever happen between them.

After being left at the alter, Arden Pearson came to the conclusion that she's not cut out for the long term, happily ever after kind of love. But just because she isn't cut out for marriage doesn't mean she can't give other couples their dream wedding.

So what happens when meddlesome matchmakers stick their noses too far into Wade's love life and a runaway groom starts to jeopardize Arden's company's reputation? They come up with a plan that will be beneficial to both of them... a fake relationship. Neither Wade nor Arden are looking for anything serious, so there really isn't anything that can go wrong... or so they think.

The more time they spend together, the closer they become. When Arden realizes that she has fallen in love with Wade, she's torn. She knew going into this relationship what the outcome would be. But she owes it to herself and Wade to see if something real can come out of their fake relationship. But will Wade stick to the original plan of breaking up? Or will he open his eyes to see what's standing right in front of him and risk his heart again for a HEA?

*dreamy sigh*

Can I just say how much I loved Arden and Wade?! Between their sizzling chemistry and their witty banter, they had me routing for them from the very beginning! I think everyone but them saw how perfect they were for each other. They were such a fun couple! I had a hard time putting this book down once I started it. It was SO good!

This is such a fun series! I am definitely enjoying it! I'm really looking forward to Elena's book!

Ms. Shirk is definitely a favorite of mine. I always look forward to reading her books. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

As for my casting... let's just take a minute to admire these two. I pretty much saw them from the beginning. I love it when that happens!

Tired of romances where Hero is a widower and can't get over his past love. It always feels like heroine settled for second best....

“You know, I used to feel sorry for Miranda because she died young and missed out on so much in life. But I was wrong. Now, I can see you’re the one I should feel sorry for.”

“Why me?”

“Because when she died, you put yourself in that coffin with her and closed yourself off to any kind of future commitment with another woman. To a wonderful woman, I might add. Since Miranda’s death, I’ve never seen you so happy as these past few weeks with Arden. Your life seemed…full. But now you’ve closed yourself off to someone who loves you, and who I think you could love back".

“All I’m trying to say is that Miranda had no choice with her life. But you still have one.”

Yeah..no. Sorry, this is my opinion and one of my pet peeves in romances. Don't let it stop you though from reading.

I love reading books by Jennifer Shirk! She has a gift for writing books that are easy to settle in with. There is always a pull with her books that makes me want to keep reading and keep reading. . .

Wade and Arden have some zingy chemistry. The mutual attraction is there so when they decide to help each other out by faking a relationship, boy do those sparks start flying. I loved the fun banter between Wade and Arden. It was so easy to imagine them, like scenes from a movie. Arden falls quickly for Wade, even though she knows better because all Wade does is casual. Wade is a harder sell but I loved how everything worked out in the end. It was such a fun ride! I can't wait to see what is coming next from Jennifer Shirk!

A few extra loves: the name Arden, dreaming of the weddings she created (I'd love to see them in real life!), the pink bedroom.

Personally, I could have done without the swearing, but that is a definite personal preference. I also would have rather seen the characters take a less casual approach to sex but again, personal preference.

Content: Swearing. Intimate relations between the characters behind closed doors with no details but you know it happens. Innuendo.

I received a copy of this title via NetGalley. It does not impact my review.

This book was so cute! After reading a number of mysteries/thrillers lately I was really in the mood for something light and sweet and Catch Him If You Can was exactly what I needed. I found myself smiling through the whole book.

I love a good fake relationship story and Jennifer Shirk always does a good job with them. I thought the circumstances leading up to the relationship were humorous, especially the small town matchmakers that were driving Wade crazy. I would’ve like maybe a couple more awkward, fake-dating moments before the relationship started to become more real, but overall I thought it developed at a good pace.

I thought Wade and Arden were both really likable characters. They both had a good sense of humor and I enjoyed all their scenes together. The secondary cast of characters were all likable, if not exactly memorable. I also really liked seeing Kinsley and Damon from the previous book.
Overall, I really enjoyed Catch Him If You Can. I always enjoy fake relationship stories and this one was so cute and exactly what I wanted it to be. It was humorous and sweet and the perfect weekend read. I definitely recommend it to fans of Sweet Romances.

Overall Rating (out of 5): 4 Stars

Wade has been shattered by love before and isn't in any hurry to find love again, much to the dismay of the meddling menagerie of women in town. These women cracked me up! From Judy at the coffee shop, who only hears what she wants to hear, to the ladies bringing in "sick" pets to the clinic and leaving food on his doorstep, there are a lot of laughs brought to the reader by these ladies. Wade is the hot, but nerdy, vet in town and isn't safe from anyone's advances.

Arden, Wade's younger sister's best friend, has also been crushed by love, in a completely different way, and is content in planning the best weddings of the year with her business. I would die to see some of the weddings she plans--they sound so unique and perfect for each bride.

Obviously, a fake relationship is proposed to simplify and benefit both of their lives, but who can tell the heart how to feel? A fake relationship, with some prior sparks and chemistry, is one of my favorites and this one definitely delivered. I loved the swoon and sass with each interaction, especially as they tried to convince the town (and each other) that they were committed. Wade and Arden are strong and self confident characters, but have just a touch of marshmallow that really melt the heart. I loved the whole setting and premise and hope there's more coming in the "Accidentally in Love" series.

Content: steamy clean romance (the couple does have sex, but everything is behind closed doors); some innuendo; mild-moderate language

I loved this book! It's a sweet lighthearted fake relationship romance that left me with a big goofy smile on my face. It starts with the light freak out Wade has when he sees his waiting full of the town's single ladies and carries on as the town embraces the new relationship between Wade and Arden. While Wade has his reasons for avoiding relationships Arden definitely has him rethinking his position. Watching these two slowly fall for each other is a fun journey. I highly recommend this one.

*Thanks to the nice people over at Entangled I was able to read an e-arc of this book in exchange of me leaving an honest review*

a 3.5-star rating for Catch him if you can. This was a really enjoyable story about two people who are adamant – each for their own reason – about staying single. But when one becomes the sole ‘project’ of the townspeople to find him a nice woman and the other gets compromised at work when she tells an A-list client she’s engaged – which she is not, of course – these two find friendship and love when they least expect it, when they ‘team up’ to play fake fiancées to one another.

A recipe for disaster when both of them have known each other their whole lives and are discovering they work really well together right? Old feelings are stirring and new ones are blossoming in this really cute contemporary romance book, filled with joy and romance.
I loved the fact that our male lead is this really cute geek-like veterinarian – gotta love men who love animals! - and reading his thoughts and reactions to everything happening in this book was a joy to read. I love his humor and sarcasm. And our female lead is this sassy businesswoman who knows what she wants and who’ll do everything in her power to keep her company ‘alive’. And then she finds out that she was wrong all along about wanting to stay single and that she Does want to have her HAE someday, even if that means its not with Wade Roberts, her fake fiancée, who she falls in love with during their perfectly executed ‘scheme’.

I loved the banter between these two characters and they both felt so extremely right for one another. This was such a fun couple to read about and I always love the ‘fake relationship/fiancee’ trope a lot and the author did a great way of writing this one I think. I love how they have a bit of a friendship already and that this friendship grows and ultimately ends up in love. It was a beautifully developed romance. And seriously: can I get myself a Wade Roberts as well, pretty please? *dreamily sigh* You really need to read about him, because he’s such a great and lovable character.

Minor remarks; The story-line was quite predictable though - but the fill'up was neatly done and the characters are lovable so that's to be forgiven then I think - and I kind of missed the sex scenes, to be honest. Don’t get me wrong; I didn’t need any specific details or anything but there’s this build-up between these characters and when the moment is supposed to happen, the story-line jumps forward a couple of hours and it felt a bit ‘unstatisfying’, lol. I think it would’ve been better if there, at least, had been a global written scene, you know?
---
Overall, this was a cute, fun, light-hearted and fast-paced read which I ended up rating 3.5 stars. It’s perfect for when you’re in need of a book that doesn’t contain a lot of drama, with likable characters and addictive writing. It’s that kind of book you pick up and want to read in one sitting. I’m really excited to read the first book in the series and I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Chase away the clouds and let the sunshine in. Shirk lit up my day with Catch Him If You Can. When Wade and Arden decide to say goodbye to love, they end saying hello to forever. A bit of small town matchmaking full of big city personality had me losing my head and finding my heart. Hot fun in the summertime.

He needs a fake girlfriend. She needs a fake fiancé. What could possibly go wrong? In Catch Him if You Can, the second book in the Accidentally Yours series, Arden Pearson and Wade Roberts are going to find out faking it never felt so good or real.

Catch Him if You Can is my favorite book Jennifer Shirk has written. From start to finish, the book had me either smiling, laughing, or sighing. Jennifer has written a friends-to-lovers, sibling/best friend, fake relationship story that’s easy to fall in love with.

Wade Roberts lost his high school sweetheart, wife, and the love of his life to cancer four years ago. Since then, he has convinced himself that he’s happy being single and alone. He doesn’t date because he doesn’t ever want to feel the pain of losing someone again. Too bad for him, a few older ladies in his hometown of Cape Harmony have decided to find him a girlfriend. After Wade receives more food than he can possibly eat on his front porch and his vet office is inundated with single female pet owners, he knows drastic measures are required. In a moment of weakness, Wade announces he’s dating his sister’s best friend, Arden.

To say Arden is shocked to learn she’s in a relationship with Wade is an understatement. She has no desire to help Wade out by pretending to be his girlfriend. In fact, Arden has no intention on being anyone’s girlfriend, after her own happy ever after came to an end in a humiliating fashion. But in order to plan the wedding of the year for a very connected client, and save her business, Arden needs a fiancé FAST.

From the first sentence, I know I was going to like Catch Him if You Can. From the moment Wade and Arden started interacting, I knew I was going to love the story. These two love to push each other’s buttons and it makes for some really fun back and forth banter. Their fake relationship quickly turns real, but these two refuse to acknowledge their feelings to each other, much less themselves. To everyone around them they appear to be truly happy and in love. At a certain point, I thought the story would be predictable. I’m happy to say it wasn’t. Jennifer has written really good characters and scenes that stand out.

There is at least one more book in this series. The heroine has been revealed to be Elena, the third friend in Arden and Kinsley’s trio. The hero remains to be a mystery, but I do have my suspicions. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author.. (netgalley) We have a fake engagement and friends to lovers story. Wade is a widower and he is not ready to move on but he lives in a small town and the woman there do not leave him alone he is desperate for them to stop. He asks Arden his sisters best friend to play his fake girlfriend, and she thinks he is crazy but also feels that he needs to start living again. When a client of hers will only sign if she is in a committed relationship she asks Wade to agree since he needed her to but instead of girlfriend, she needs fake fiance. These two are attracted to each other but trying to fight it, until eventually what is fake turns real. Arden also had a difficult past since her fiance left her at the altar so you can see her reluctance but when she finally gives love a chance, he pulls back because he doesn't feel he can ever love again.

-‘She sighed. “You know, I used to feel sorry for Miranda because she died young and missed out on so much in life. But I was wrong. Now, I can see you’re the one I should feel sorry for.” He stared at her. “Why me?” “Because when she died, you put yourself in that coffin with her and closed yourself off to any kind of future commitment with another woman. To a wonderful woman, I might add. Since Miranda’s death, I’ve never seen you so happy as these past few weeks with Arden. Your life seemed…full. But now you’ve closed yourself off to someone who loves you, and who I think you could love back. She pulled her coat on. About to the reach for the doorknob, she turned back one last time. “All I’m trying to say is that Miranda had no choice with her life. But you still have one.”‘-

Very sweet, romantic, cute, sexy story. A little more edge than what I’m used to (spoiler: they have sex but it’s only mentioned, not described in detail so PG alert). I liked it. It moved quickly and was engaging. I can definitely foresee who the next story will be about and I look forward to reading it too. Recommended.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and these are completely my thoughts and opinions without prejudice. I did not feel pressured to leave a positive review.

Reviewed for Romancing the Readers Blog: https://romancingthereaders.blogspot....

This is the first book I've ever read by Jennifer Shirk. I enjoyed it so much that it won't be the last. I will admit that I decided to read it only because of the cute cover. I needed something light and fun to read and it looked like it would be just what I needed.

Catch Him If You Can turned out to be just that. I had such fun reading this story. I loved the characters, even the busybody ones. Of course I wouldn't want them to be helping me match up with someone but it was fun for them to do it with someone else.

I understood why Wade has waited so long to start living again. After a loss you kind of go in shut down and sometimes you don't even realize it's happened. I think, or maybe I should say I know he just needed the right person to drag him back to the living.

Arden did just that and more.

These two together are just so much fun to read. I'm not saying it went well between them all the time because we all know life isn't a smooth, tons of bumps in the road. But in the end they worked together and that's what I love about romances.

I really did enjoy this one and can't wait to read more by her. Unforgettably this is book two and I didn't even think of that when I agreed to read it. You all know how I like to read in order. I will mention that I didn't know it was book two for the most part, yest the characters from the first book are in it and important to this story but I was left slightly in the dark about them so I can go back and read book one with no issues of feeling like I've been there, done that.

In order to save her business as a wedding planner, Arden Pearson needs a fiancé quick. Luckily, there's someone that needs her just as much to stop the women of their small town from matchmaking. When Wade agrees to be her fake fiancé, Arden soon finds herself in trouble since falling in love was not part of their deal. Will Wade ever come to feel for Arden the way she feels for him or is their relationship never ever going to be more than fake?

What an absolutely entertaining, fast-paced, marvellous read Ms. Shirk has delivered in this second book of her Accidentally Yours series where the main characters were compelling; the dialogue was a wonderful combination of intense moments due to the main characters back stories and playful banter that had me loving these two together; and the obstacles these two faced to be together had me reading quickly, determined to discover whether they'd be able to overcome them since Wade has already had a great love and Arden is his second chance. Will he be able to let go of his past to be with Arden?

With the characters, I loved both the main and secondary ones because everyone wants Wade to find happiness again and isn't afraid to matchmake for him. Really, the matchmaking efforts of the secondary characters are amusing, especially with the way this story starts and I could understand why Wade would do anything to put a stop to everyone's efforts, even if he has to resort to a fake relationship with his sister's best friend. While the heroine, she's been through tough times when it comes to her career and I could understand why she's desperate for Wade's help. Will Arden and Wade be able to pull their fake relationship off?

As for Arden, she's resilient, courageous, hard-working and I liked the endearments she and Will called each other. I also liked the close friendships she has with Wade's sister and their other friend Elena, especially when things happen and they need each other. While Wade, I couldn't help but sympathize with him because of things that happened in his past that make him afraid of giving happy ever after another chance. How does he know that he won't lose someone else he loves? However, I liked that he was willing to help Arden in her time of need. Really, he's a good guy that would do anything for those he cares for.

Overall, Ms. Shirk has delivered a fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between Arden and Wade was powerful; the romance was on the sweet side; and the ending had me loving how Wade makes things right between the pair. Deals are made to be broken and struck again to be bigger and better. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up perfectly, as these two are definitely meant to be. I would recommend Catch Him If You Can by Jennifer Shirk, if you enjoy the sister's best friend trope, the fake relationship trope, or books by authors Sonya Weiss, Victoria James, Tara Sheets and Coleen Kwan.

Wade Roberts is the town's hot vet.  His wife passed away a few years back and now the town matchmakers are making his life hell.  The single women are lining up and his life is turning into a circus.

Arden Pearson is a wedding planner and best friend to Katie, Wade's sister.  Every hear that saying "Those who can't wed, plan."  Well that is Arden's motto.  She is committed to her job as a wedding planner and has no room in life for another broken heart.

When fate intervenes Wade and Arden both come up with a plan to be fake engaged.  This gets the match makers off his back and Arden gets her big client.  But what happens when one of them starts to believe it is real?

This book was hilarious fun.  The banter between Wade and Arden is so much fun to read.  These two had me in stitches.  These two characters felt real and it was easy to become invested in their story.  Not to mention they are pretty hot together.

"Arden please, it's too early to make me follow the bread crumb trail.  Just take me to Grandma's house already."

This is the first book by Jennifer Shirk that I have read and I have to say that I really enjoyed her writing style.  She mixed humor, romance and broken hearts to create a wonderful story full of fun and entertaining characters.  Her story flowed smoothly and at a steady pace.  I never once felt like she was rushing it.  This light-hearted read is sure to make you smile.  A true feel good romance.

So if you are looking for that Hallmark moment, then this book is for you.  A romance to fill your heart with joy and sunshine.  So grab a copy today.

Another great book from Jennifer! I loved this story, fun, romance and wedding hi-jinx! What could possibly go wrong with the towns most eligible bachelor who happens to be a Vet and the local wedding planner now trying to live down a wedding where the groom decided to leave the altar and ex pat to the Bahamas. Poor Arden. Wasn't like her Magic 8 ball could have predicted that. When Wade arrives at work on Saturday morning to a waiting room full of single women with any sort of pet imaginable, he knows something is up, his office help snickers assuming he knows he's the talk of the town and the owner of the town coffee shop who fancies herself a matchmaker and rules the towns facebook chatter, decided that Wade needs to date. Since he's been widowed for 4 years, he's still not willing to put himself out there. Meanwhile he's angry, goes to the coffee shop to tell her to cease and desist, behind him in line is Arden. Arden thinks it a bit humorous, but doesn't quite get the morning he's had. Wade is Arden's best friends older brother. Arden always had a crush on Wade in high school but when he met the girl he who later marry, Arden tossed that one. Arden has her own history too, being left at the altar. Arden is now helping his sister plan her wedding. Wade has to think fast on his feet so tells a tiny fib about he and Arden dating, which escalates when Arden has a VIP bride who she really needs for her business to pick up and tells the mother of the bride she's engaged... to Wade. Let the games begin!
What a great story and how fun, romantic, a splash of crazy and a couple of oops moments all at the same time. Absolutely had a good time reading this one!

I've been meaning to read more Jennifer Shirk, so I was thrilled to get a chance to read Catch Him If You Can. Her books are wonderful sweet romances with characters that you absolutely fall in love with.

I have to admit I love the fake fiance trope, so that really made this book more fun for me. Oh and when the characters love Doctor Who, well. Its happy happy joy joy time for me when it comes to reading. I love when characters like the same things I do.

Our hero is a vet. Squee! Animal lovers make me so happy. He's slightly geeky too. Wade is officially my new book boyfriend. I have to say that I seldom have tried to claim book boyfriends, but this year, I think I've claimed three! Wade is definitely one of them. In fact, I'd say he would be at the top of the list, for being a Doctor Who fan. I loved all the references to the show both new and classic versions.

Can you say perfection?

Yes it is! It is total perfection, especially as both hero and heroine need each other to be their fake significant other, him to keep matchmaking friends from sending women his way, and her to get a great client for her wedding planning business.

Its a small town romance about two people determine to not get attached to anyone. Of course, that doesn't work out, because as they really get to know each other they start to get attached!

I loved it!

I have been a fan of Jennifer Shirk since I read my first book of hers. Catch Him if You Can did not disappoint. How can you not love a geeky hero who is a vet?!

Wade lost his wife and has closed himself off to everyone. The town ladies are trying to throw women at him so that he will start living again and be happy. There were some cute scenes when he figured it out and was upset with the little old ladies.

Arden is a wedding planner with her own love troubles. She is convinced that no one will choose her for the long term. She throws herself into her work to make the best possible wedding experience for the brides.

I typically do not like stores where they are faking an engagement and the entire time you are waiting for a big blow up. This fake engagement was very well done. Wade and Arden have been friends since high school. So their time together and the developing relationship were not forced. It flowed smoothly.
Jennifer made several decisions with the characters that were not typically of the romance genre and I was thrilled. For those of us who read a lot you love it when the author does not take the stereo typical approach. This is just another reason that Jennifer stays on my must read author list.

This book is published by the Entangled Bliss line. So the physical scenes are all behind closed doors. You know they occur but there are no details.

Sex – 2 chemistry, behind closed door sex,
Violence - 0
Language - 1 damn 10 times
Drugs/alcohol - 1 I think there was a couple mention of drinks but nothing that stood out

“This will be a piece of cake. Look how great we’re getting along already.”
She glanced at her watch, then back up at him. “It’s only been fifteen minutes, Wade.”

This was a really sweet, really fun book. Catch Him If You Can is the second book in the Accidentally His series by Jennifer Shirk and just as enjoyable as the first.

Wade and Arden have chemistry and a need for a fake relationship, and it’s funny and a little heart-breaking watching them navigate that. Wade’s status as a widow adds a little depth to an otherwise light-hearted read, and also makes the pay-off that much greater and more rewarding for the reader.

Ms. Shirk has become something of a go-to author for me when it comes to cute, blissful reads. She doesn’t ask too much of your achy emotions, but gives back all you could want in the way of good feels. Highly recommend.

“Happiness doesn’t last forever.”
“Life doesn’t last forever. We all know that. So, shouldn’t we grab onto and hold whatever happiness we’re given?”

**Arc copy recieved from Entangled Publishing for my honest review**

Holy crap. I really enjoyed this. It was really good. I am hoping for another book in this series. The confessions (both inner and to each other) were kinda cheesy, a bit too much so. But I still really enjoyed it. The couple made me happy.

Writing: 3
(Not overly extravagant but not horrible)
Story: 4
(Wonderful premise, the ending was a bit rushed compared to the rest of thebook, though.)
Characters: 4
(Great, very likable characters that complimented each other well)
Personal: 4
(Loved this story. And can I have Wade? A vet that also loves Doctor Who! Yes please)

What a sweet and sexy story! Wade and Arden are so cute together. I really enjoyed their story!!

Wade is a vet in a small town. He lost his wife 4 years ago, so now he’s focused only on his work. However, the town old ladies have other ideas and are plotting a matchmaking scheme to find him a wife. Arden is a wedding planner. She didn’t get her happily ever after, so she does everything to give it to other couples.

Wade and Arden knew each other for quite a while. She’s his little sister’s best friend. Arden always had a crush on him but never acted on it. A series of events bring them both in need of a fake relationship and that’s when they make a deal.

Even though neither of them admit it, there are feelings pouring through the pages. It was so good to see them both finally coming to that conclusion and actually admitting whay they really feel!

The story is suitable for a nice afternoon read, with not much drama and full of feel-good moments!

I started reading Catch Him If You Can as soon as it hit my Kindle!

The second in the Accidentally Yours series, it follows Wade and Arden, the brother and friend of Kinsley from the first book. Wade is a veterinarian and widower who is tired of the town trying to set him up. Arden is a wedding planner who just told a little lie to land a big couple for her business. The solution to both their problems is to fake an engagement, but what happens if feelings begin to become real?

I really enjoyed Wade and Arden's story. They were adorable together, and I especially liked Wade's geeky side that came out every now and again. It was nice, too, they they each respected the other from the get go. The dual narration was perfect for really understanding the characters.

The story moves at a good pace. It reminded me of a fun rom-com movie, and if you are looking for a sweet romance with some humor, I know you'll love it too!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book is exactly what a summer read should be! A quick funny yet romantic story about a man (Wade) needing a fake fiance to get his small town off his back. But he doesn´t realize the woman he chose has her own issues and is someone who use to have a crush on Wade. I immediately liked Arden. This was such a cute story. From the first sentence to the last page I was emotionally involved in the outcome. I can´t wait to read the first book in this series. This author has a really great way of telling a story.
