Loved it
Freddie gets her story. Freddie, Benny's best friend, is a mage and a familiar. Fulfilling a family debt, Freddie fears.for her life. Her abusive mage is getting worse and her latest encounter was near fatal. Freddie's friends have a plan.
Symon is a master mage with an an affinity with metal and drawn to demon magic. He is also a distant cousin to Freddie's.current mage, and.with a.little help from Freddie's friends, he will be her new mage.
Her old mage isn't letting go easily. Symon is firmly on her side. When the mage.guild comes calling, Freddie has a real.chance of ending her family's enforced servitude.

Spellbound
Loved the Freddy story. Glad she got some fun in her life after dealing with the cursed life. These stories are just the right mix of novel and heartwarming, with recurring characters who round out the back story. Great title too spellbound in a handbag.

Just as the plot WAS getting...
GREAT. Don't get me wrong but im so very happy Freddy is not getting the Crap beat out of her at every Whim of a Phsyco. BUT i REALLY don't THINK that Martha's gone YET. "REMEMBER ME" Could've been her in disguised as an Elf especially since Martha's mot able to cast the memory spells herself anymore. Freddie has forgotten how tiny she used to be after being dragged thru the Cosmos . Before being dropped into the purse.. so Something tells me I'm close,BUT I'm not in Viola's brain so I won't know until the book comes out. Where we can all read it.

Charming setting
The supernatural community has a renaissance festival and murdanes can't attend. Unfair discrimination! I like watching dancing and other moment skills from.surfing to horse jumping. Would love watching Freddy and Mosk 💃 dance.

Captivating
I loved this story. Freddie is a fantastic character and it is great that she can finally get peace. The storyline was captivating, I couldn't put it down. I need more.

Entertaining. Good addition to the series. Just a bit on the short side. I always get a feel good experience when reading this author even when unpleasant events are described.

2.5-3 ⭐️s. Ok, little weird note here. The photo of the woman on the cover reminds me of that famous photo of Heidi Fleiss (of Charlie Sheen fame, lol) during her madam (prostition ring) days. And given that this book is VERY PG , I'm disconcerted every time I see it, lol. Anywho, silly little things like that stick with me😜. The novella is cute, not my usual favorite for V. Grace (I like her spicier writing), but definitely worth reading.

Wonderful addition to the Obscure Magic series. It is not as steamy as many, but is extremely tender. You also get to take a peak on several other characters from this, and the Hell Kitten series.

The story feels incomplete. I'm a fan of Viola Grace/Zenina Masters work. I've just started reading her stuff in the last 2 years and eagerly await for new ones I would just like a comprehensive story.
