The Wild Kratts go in search of lions, tigers, and felines of all sizes in this leveled reader!
PBS's successful animated show Wild Kratts joins the adventures of zoologists Chris and Martin Kratt as they travel to animal habitats around the globe. Along the way, they encounter incredible creatures while combining science education with fun. Boys and girls ages four to six can learn all about cats--from ferocious big cats like lions and tigers that live in the wild to adorable house cats. Stickers add to the fun.
Step 2 readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories for beginning readers who recognize familiar words and can sound out new words with help.
We love Wild Kratts. The TV show is good and the books are excellent to retain the knowledge and keep working on reading skills. It has a lot of info useful for adults, too. Cubs are the young of big cats, kittens are the young of medium cats...the difference between the lynx and caracal, jaguar an leopard, etc. Great book and series.
I love learn about animals and their habits. I learn more every day by I watch their TV shows. In science we had a test about animals and their habits I made a 100 percent because of them. It may looked boring but it is not.
5 out of 5 is how much I love there's books and shows. There's books and TV shows are interested and amazing I love it
A fun and entertaining way to learn about different kinds of cats with the Kratt brothers. I could hear the Kratt brothers' voices as I read the facts in the book. It is written for early readers but still provides a lot of information. This is a good book to have on the shelf to get young readers into informational texts.
I love how they explained about all of the different cats in this book. However, I have no idea what a KRATTS is, and I did not know how to explain to my child what the strange creatures with human faces were and how they were related to the big cats. Some explanation would’ve been very helpful.
Lots of interesting information about wild cats. Includes the names of some animals that kids might not know (servals and catamounts, for example), with just a couple of sentences on each topic. Covers how different cats hunt, what their babies are called and where they live. It was a lot of new info and also a bit long for my preschooler, but he likes Wild Kratts and animals so he liked the book nevertheless
