Archangels MC is book two in the Bad Influence series by Ivy Fox. This is my very first book by this author. This is a reverse harem, motorcycle club romance that was recommended to me and I am so very glad I took a chance on this. It’s a complete stand alone so you would have no issue jumping in with book two as I did.

The first thing you will read in this book is the prologue and wow! It set the stage for an amazing story. You will meet a young woman, Hope, who is determined to live. Who is determined not to let that awful night be her last. Was it fate that took her to the front yard of our three bikers to save her? Or was it fate that brought her there to save them?

Michael, Gabe and Cam are best friends, all share a home well out into the woods near Warren, Pennsylvania, and although they are as different as night and day, they are as close as brothers can be. They are all members of the Archangels MC. Michael is VP. The current president is waiting for Michael to decide he’s ready to take the position that is rightfully his. Cam is the fun, talkative one of the group. Always smiling. And Gabe is the quiet one. He’s also the biggest of them all. He rarely speaks, doesn’t believe in wasting words. They have just returned from a two month trip, are exhausted and want a shower and a bed when they find her.

Hope has no memory of how she came to be on her savior’s front lawn. She only knows that they saved her. She instinctively knows she can trust them, that they would never hurt her. They each seem to have their special part in her recovery.

As the weeks pass, Hope becomes stronger and her relationship grows with her three bikers. They are all individually falling for her but none want to hurt the other. But even so, they begin to consider her theirs. They begin to see the four of them as a sort of family. Hope still has no memory, though, of anything before they found her. Only the horrible nightmares that plague her every single night that disappear as soon as she wakes up. It seems her mind is not yet ready to remember whatever horrible thing happened to her.

I enjoyed this book so much. Hope truly was so strong. And I loved watching her blossom with the care from Cam, Gabe and Michael. This was a bit of a slow burn. I think that really was my only complaint. There were definitely some surprises thrown in there during that last twenty percent or so! Hope again showed how strong she had become. I want to throw in here that I loved Michael’s aunt, Aurora, who is also a doctor. I am thinking she’ll get a book someday? It seemed like there is a story there to tell! At least I hope so! This really was a great read with all the things that are present in a book that makes it work for me! Sexy alpha men, sweet moments, suspense and surprises. This definitely won’t be my last book by Ivy Fox!

One of the most important things is this is a standalone reverse harem novel.

I liked our MMCs - Gabe, Cam and Michael. All of them were unique in their own ways. Gabe was my favorite though. The broody, grumpy thing going on with him made his character more enticing. They all were very protective of Hope, the FMC. Despite being the badass MC club members, they were like marshmallows. Hope. I took some time to like her.

Overall, a comfy read.

Loved It !

This is my first time reading this author but it certainly will not be my last. I got this book because I was intrigued by the cover and the title of the book. But let me say the prologue hooked me, I just had to know why and who had done to Hope what was done to her. I loved the characters in this story Hope was strong and guarded, it took strength to get through what she had to endure at the beginning of this book. Gabe, Michael and Cam were interesting complex characters, I do have to admit Gabe was my favorite of the three, he was withdrawn, silent, strong and always had his guard up, but his little bird was able to penetrate his armor. The secondary characters were great too loved Aurora she was strong and sassy, I would love to read more about her (hint to the author). I really enjoyed this book it was well written and had an engaging storyline. It had drama, suspense, emotions, a little humor, sizzling chemistry and of course love. A fabulous read that I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this reverse harem story. It was a combination of RH that I enjoy with a fantastic MC Storyline. Throw in some plot twists & a HEA and I was a happy reader. While I enjoy RH they are sometimes light on storyline. That’s not the case here.

Not all angels have wings...
Reverse Harem – MFMM – Bad Boy Bikers.
On my second outing with this author I felt more relaxed. This story had considerably more believability about it than the first in this series.
Our characters here were very well developed and the world building was amazing. I was so happy with the entire story from start to finish.
Our heroine, Hope, is found by our three heroes, biker hotties Michael, Gabriel and Cam. She’s barely breathing in their front yard. The journey from death’s door to healthy and sassy is a delicate and sometimes solemn one where we learn a lot of the hidden secrets of our lead players.
This story had some scenes that were heavy with innuendo and a few that were just pure female fantasy, PHEW! *fans self*
The drama in the plot and the twists that the story took could be called a little dark but were well worth it for the HEA.
The conclusion and epilogue were done so beautifully that I gave it an extra star on that alone!
Well done Ms Fox! Four stars from me.

Revenge is a Screaming Eagle

This is the first book I've read from this author. This had a Sons of Anarchy meets The Sinner kind of feel to it for me, which I loved.
The personality of each character and how they worked together in the same club, same house, and ultimately with the same woman blended really well. The intrigue throughout this novel was fantastic - twist after twist.
And that ending? Dynamite! I didn't see it coming. The heroine was strong enough to hold her own and the heroes were dedicated to their club and their woman, which was a hard battle to win on some fronts. Loved it!

I swear I just don’t think this Author can write a bad book! I absolutely loved the story of Hope and her Angels! I so enjoyed how she woke up from such tragedy and abuse a kickass, take no prisoners, loving woman. The men in this book are exactly what a woman who had been through what Hope had needed! Holy smokes!

Why is this book not talked about more??

I absolutely loved this book!

I adored Ivy Fox's writing style in this book! Especially the chapters where Hope was recalling the past or her dreams! They were beautifully and poetically rewritten. They added so much emotion and depth to her character. Sometimes, I struggle with amnesia trope books because it feels like there's just too much angst and unknown, but the way Ivy tied in those chapters helped me connect better with Hope!

Like a ghost. The other kids even took up calling me Casper. They think they’re teasing me, but I don’t mind. I want to be a ghost. Ghosts can travel through walls and leave locked rooms whenever they feel like it. They don’t have to be stuck in a place they don’t want to be just because they are frightened of the alternative. Ghosts don’t go to bed hungry or get cold when the weather turns. Ghosts don’t need to sleep with their eyes open, looking for any dangers lurking about. Ghosts are free from imposing man- made rules, their judgments, or pitied stares.

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

The book opens with Hope digging her way out of a "ditch" with no memory of what happened to her or her past! This chapter had me hooked right away!

"If I should die tonight, it will not be because I caved in to my ill fate. The cold may take me. An intrigued animal might mistake me for a desirable treat. But I will fight to the end with my very last burning breath."

Hope was on hell of a fighter! And fate managed to put her in the hands of 3 very protective alpha males! Who were determined to help her pull through.

I loved all three men! They created such a great balance!

"Cam loves strays, and well, Gabe and I fit the bill to perfection. The fucker has a talent of seeing a person’s true colors and still accepting them into the fold. To two misfits like Gabe and me, Cam balances us out perfectly."

🔹️Gabe was the classic growly cynical alpha with a damaged past. There were times when Gabe got to me, and I was basically screaming at him through my kindle! There was so much push and pull! Then he finally acknowledged how much he loved her! And I swooned!

"She spoke two sentences. Two measly sentences, but her voice traveled through me like tidal waves, slapping each pronounced word on my cheeks, forcing me to wake up and see the imminent danger I was about to face. This meek, broken thing might be more powerful than I gave her credit for. I knew she had will. That was a given by the way she did everything she could to survive this long.

🔹️Cam, oh my gosh, I loved his character so much. He was you classic golden retriever and brought so much humor to such a heavy book. His determination in the beginning to get Hope talking was hilarious. Even when she was rude, he just kept rolling with the conversation completely unfazed! I loved his persistence.

-“I remember trying to sleep, and you interrupting that, too,” she adds sarcastically.
“Next time, I’ll try a lullaby if you don’t like my prose,” he counters, giving her his best flirtatious wink.
“I rather you didn’t,” she replies back. “Or is this your definition of torture that you perform on all your kidnapped victims?”

-“Yep, going to see my girl and take her out to have some fun tonight,” he remarks with a glint in his eye.
Your girl, huh?” I bite my inner cheek before letting my wide grin get the best of me.
“We ain’t there yet, Hope? You wound me. But I’m a patient man. You’ll see soon enough that I’m a catch.”
“Oh, I’m sure I’ll catch something, alright, from all the cheesy lines you’re feeding me.”

🔹️Michael was tough and serious on the exterior, but a teddy bear like personality on the inside. He was so gentle with Hope. He was also the reasonable one of the group. Being groomed to become the Prez of their MC.

“You were wrong earlier,” he continues.
"How so?”
“You do have a home— and a name.”

Let me start by saying, RH is not a style I generally pick out for myself. However I love MC romance & when I won a copy of this book from the lovely Ivy Fox herself and thought why not lets do this!

If you've ever read any form of MC romance you know their intense, full of brooding from our alpha's and a lady strong enough to understand them, in this regard Ms Fox did not disappoint.
Ivy has done an exceptional job of portraying the point of views of our three main squeezes (Michael, Cam & Gabe) and another for Hope. While there were parts that I would have desperately love to have seen play out where one character left a scene written in the point of view of another to do a side mission (i.e Florida! Michael, Cam and Uri) but I understand, Ms Fox seems have written this in a face paced manner but has given all the slowburn feels. The boys have their own demons, their own burdens and are held together by an unbreakable family bond. They are in all sense of the word bar blood "brothers" our heroine is also not without her struggles, but it seems her past, one she doesnt remember, is the least of her problems. Ya know, if I was hope and that was the condition I was found in I probably wouldn't care if my rescue team never found answers until the past came knocking either.
There are a few twists and turns but I believe they became the backbone for character development. Lastly though, Aurora was one hell of a Badass bestfriend/Aunt/doctor, her own story could possibly fill in the gaps from the final chapter and to the epilogue.
But we'll see where Ms. Fox's muse takes her next.

I keep trying to get into these RH books. So far i've read a couple of goodish ones, several bad ones, and then some that were just eh. This one was eh for me. A lot of things didn't make sense, why would you not want to find out why a girl is found mostly dead on your front lawn, who did it and what if they come back? But, that isn't something they worry about until midway through the book and it just fell in their laps. The men were hot but oh em gee what is up with the internal monologues, the first half of the book is literally all in their heads. What is up with that. The sex was okay but still not as steaming hot as i feel like it should have been. This was a first book for me by this author, not sure i'll pick another up

I loved this book so much! So many twists, both to the plot and the characters (I actually hated Uri half way through, only for him to believably come through at the end!). I found myself holding back sobs at some points, then laughing out loud at others. The story itself moved along at a perfect pace, really dragging you in.
I highly recommend this book and am so looking forward to Ivy' s next offering, she certainly hasn't disappointed with her 1st two books!

More than just a cookie cutter RH...

Never thought I would say that... but the book market has been a veritable deluge of over the top instalove RH stand-alone or series novels. The Fox is a gem among the costume jewelry. Her characters don’t just do a swan dive into the sheets, they struggle with their feelings for each other. There is actual story and character development. The females Aurora and Hope are not the despised Shrinking Violet. They are Spitfire Ladies, which we definitely need more of. Hope is someone I never found myself wanting to yell at to pull up her big girl panties and grow some lady balls, I can give no bigger compliment...

You got to try this!!!

So let me first say that after reading Her Secret 7 times (yes I am so serious!! 7 times), I finally decided to try Archangels MC because I was like “I should give it a try.” I had passed this book over a couple of times already in my suggestion. Now I realize that I should have taken the jump earlier. This book is AWESOME! This author is AMAZING and you will not be disappointed in the least. I look forward to reading this book 6 more time :-) until the next one comes out!!!

I loved Her Secret, the first book by this author I could find. I had to read this next book in the series but didn’t want to be disappointed after how good the first one was. I wasn’t disappointed. This author writes extremely well. The author’s grammar and spelling is excellent as is her vocabulary, which is alway a pleasant surprise when reading a “genre” romance. Reverse Harem is a genre that seems to be everywhere on Amazon these days and I don’t have a problem with it. When done well the RH genre is one of my favourite. I find that done well, the layers and interactions between multiple characters can be rich and rewarding. Reverse Harem done well, is exactly what you will find when you read one of Ivy Fox’s books from this series.

The story starts with a woman clawing her way out of a grave with no recollection of who she is. She manages to stumble her way out until she collapses unable to go further. She is found in the front yard of a house that is home to three men who happen to be members of an MC. I love the way the main character Hope finds herself as she recovers from the physical trauma she underwent and starts to rebuild her character and confidence with no memories to base it on. I also like how Michael, Cam and Gabriel slowly begin to show their characters and histories as they start to become interested in Hope.

I really appreciated this slow build up as often RH can be very much instalove, which to me is a fun plot device but in no way believable. It seems strange to want realism in an RH, but I do and I don’t think I’m alone in that.

So the reason I give this book 5 stars is because it is well crafted, well written, interesting characters and great plot. Give it a read, and go back to read Her Secret if you haven’t done so already, you don’t need to do that to follow this book, but it is REALLY good.

Interesting

So this was the first book I think I've read from this author, and it was good. This was also is of maybe three books I've ever read where one of the main characters has some form of amnesia. The whole amnesia theme doesn't normally appeal to me but the way this author wrote it was quite enjoyable. Not to spoil anything so if you want to go into this book more blind only knowing it was a good reverse harem with an HEA then stop reading here, turn back now or I won't be held responsible if I spoil anything lol. Still reading then here it is while this author has a character with amnesia I think what allowed me to enjoy it so much was that this amnesiac character who happens to be our heroine was looking forward. She wasn't obsessed with her past and letting that obsession derail her possible future she became okay with not remembering she didn't ignore it and she acknowledged her past was probably not good So she let it go and moved forward. And I'll admit some of what helps her move forward surprised me and I wasn't sure I was gonna like that surprise but it worked well for our characters. This author definitely has a way with keeping some twists and turns in there to keep you guessing. One thing I didn't like and I'll keep this as vaguely specific as possible is toward the end one of the bikers says something during a very intense time and I just go what why did he say that, that was stupid. And I that reaction because the guys are bikers and to some degree one percentage So when he says what he says I'm thinking you just put blood in the water and that doesn't seem like something this biker who is Michael would do. But he did and I get how it plays into the rest of the story but it just didn't necessarily seem like the best transition for that twist to occur in my head. But then again people can do things out of character in high emotion situations so maybe that was it. And if your curious there are some hot multilayered scenes in this book, enough to set your whistle but not so many where it seems like that's all its about So I think that was well done and kept a good proportion. So overall this book was a good mysterious hot reverse harem with a dash of bikers and amnesia and an HEA that was just good and gooey; would recommend.

Michael, Cam, and Gabriel are Archangels. MC Brothers. They live on the edge of the law. Their moral code is clear. Protect the Archangels, protect the family, protect the brothers. Justice is what they decide it is. So when they arrive home to find a girl in their front yard, severely beaten, more dead than alive, they take her in, determined to see her back to health and seek revenge on her behalf. She has no memory of her past, not even her name. A bracelet with the name Hope is the only clue. Hope may be bruised and battered but she is not broken. She has an inner fire and a determination to be the woman she wants this time around. It's a second chance for her and the baby she discovers she's carrying. She wants to be strong, independent but she also wants the three bikers who saved her. They seem to be in total agreement. However, it may not be that simple. Even though she doesn't remember the past, that doesn't mean her past can't catch up to her.

Archangel MC is the second stand-alone in the Bad Influence series. There is one tie-in which is fun but this is definitely its own book. I liked this one so much more than Her Secret. At no time was I offended. At no time did I hate a main character. Progress! The characters were nicely defined. Hope was easy. She was a clean slate so she got to choose who she wanted to be. Cam was a likable, eager puppy. Once he decided that Hope should be his/theirs he was all in and never held back. His single-mindedness was refreshing. Gabe was the dark, sexy, brooding soul. His history was heartbreaking. When he finally decided to give in to his feelings, it was fantastic. I loved his little bird inner thoughts. Michael was the most complex, conflicted. he knew what he wanted but he had been groomed for a role that didn't allow for it. I liked that this Viking god took his life and his happiness into his own hands. He was true to his brothers and to himself. The side characters were a nice assortment. Aurora was kickass, Uri was not likable, Mabel was a hoot. The others will remain secret to avoid spoilers.

The storyline was entertaining. At times it was a bit disjointed. The characters didn't always act like it seems they should. Overall, though this was an absorbing read.

This story was a huge surprise to me! I have read other Ivy Fox books but I had been sorely missing out by not reading this book earlier! I loved everything about this story, the guys being so raw, dirty, sometimes bad. Hope really growing into her own, finding her place in a world that changed for her in that fateful night. I loved that this story had a baby aspect to it. I didn't think I would as much, but it really brought out some amazing qualities in Gabe, Cam, and Michael. I loved how they couldn't help their attraction to each other but everyone was trying to do the right thing, despite their sexy time slip ups haha. I wanted to punch the Pres in the face but it ended alright haha. I can't wait to see if we get a story about Doc and Nico. I think they will be feisty and adorable and their story will be just as hot as this one 🔥

I could see some of these twists coming, but some were a shock to me as well. I loved how Ivy weaved in the MC part of the story, but the main thread was how these men were drawn to Hope, how they helped her get back on her feet, how she helped them love, and how they all fit together in this amazing puzzle, that wouldn't have been complete without each of their pieces. I love how BA Hope became and I wish we could have more of them. Highly recommend this standalone book and fantastic audiobook 💋

My commentary on the narration. Aaron made this audiobook for me a 5 stars. I couldn't honestly give it anything less. I think Stephanie was good throughout the story, only a couple times where I think she didn't handle some things right/her voice wasn't great. I think for future books, she should consider not speaking so slowly, I think that is what did me in a couple times where it stopped me from engrossed in the story. I would have given her 4 stars anyway. I definitely would listen to other books they do and hope they do more for Ivy.

Archangels MC is an amazing story from start to finish. Following Hope from the moment she crawls away from her past and is saved by the guys, we get a story of recovery, self discovery, and love that blew me away.

When Hope is rescued she isn't sure of anything, not even her own name. Bedridden and healing in a house full of strangers, the only glimpses into her past are nightmares that she can't quite remember upon waking. But gradually, with the help of Michael, Cam and Gabriel, she heals, both inside and out.

I loved this take on a Motorcycle Club. While the guys were definitely big tough bikers, their personalities were really unique making them seem so much more real and relatable. I loved getting to know them and Hope.

Overall this was a sweet read with some steam and definitely some darker themes that combined, kept me enthralled from the first chapter to the end. Ivy Fox does not disappoint and I cannot wait for the next book in her Bad Influence series!

So Hope is a resilient one. In the beginning her body fought to stay alive for herself. And then she pushed to get better as she healed. I was amazed at how strong she was for herself and the baby. She may not remember who she is but she grows into herself none the less and in the end it turns out she was becoming exactly who she was meant to be.

Michael, Gabe, Cam were amazing to her. Being caring and taking care of her whenever she needed it. They became her world. Her everything. These three hard bikers falling for this women that landed on their doorstep and needed them more than anything. they loved her and her unborn child. Even if they knew it wasn’t there’s.

Honestly there were a few times I wanted throat punch Uri. He was being so heartless towards Hope and in almost caused her demise.

Powerful love happens in this book and I really enjoyed it.

Yes it’s real and it has a plot!

I loved how this RH didn’t have any paranormal aspect to it. Those are the best kinds if done right. No shapeshifter, witch, dystopia in sight. Mrs. Fox is my one click wonder when it comes to RH novels. It all starts with Hope and her being found broken and almost dead. The best part she has no memory of how she got there or who she was. I say was because she is a bad ass! She owns it and knows what she wants and goes for it. No waiting on the guy to make the first move. The other thing I love is that each guy has his own unique voice and characteristics. I love me some Cam, Michael, and Gabriel. Yummy! That doesn’t mean they are weak either, but smart and kind to her. I loved finding out why Gabriel is the way he is and why Hope has no memory and who she was before. Definitely a one clicker.
