I picked this up quite some time ago by coincidence. I liked the green cover and I like puzzles and quizzes and I'm a fan of Jane Austen's so ...

Since I only read Persuasion and Pride and Prejudice this month, I also only did the puzzles for these two books and will do the others upon reading the rest of Austen's novels. But I can already say with absolute certainty that the book is indeed fun.

Here are a few examples of the puzzles from the P&P chapter (yes, they are divided into chapters about each of the books):

They are varied not only in type of puzzle but also in level of difficulty which I liked a lot.

Just some not so mindless fun for booklovers presented in a great design.

This edition is very qualitative and beautiful - it's almost a shame to have to write on it to do the puzzles, and I had a hard time doing it at first!
the book is divided in 6 chapters, each corresponding to one of Austen's book - you don't need to know the books to enjoy this book (but will enjoy it more, of course, if you've read all of Austen) as there is a small sum-up of each book at the beginning of each chapter.
The game offers a good mix of puzzles (sudoku, decrypt a text...) and enigmas. The type of puzzles are similar from one chapter to another but varied inside a chapter so it doesn't feel too repetitive.
I had this book on my table for a few months and picked it from time to time to do a puzzle or an enigma, I had a lot of fun!

The puzzles are great, and the illustrations are beautiful. I do have a couple of issues:

- Some puzzles have a narrative but no question attached to it. So I need to go to the answer page to work out what the missing question was.

- Some conundrums have answers that no one could have possibly thought of the answer to.
