About the author

Shungiku Nakamura (中村春菊 Nakamura Shungiku?, born December 13,1980) is a Japanese yaoi manga artist. She is most famous for creating Junjo Romantica: Pure Romance. Shungiku Nakamura's distinct style of manga has been identified largely throughout Japanese and English yaoi fanbases. Her works usually include large age gaps between the seme and uke and characters with careers in the publishing industry (as depicted in Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi). She often cowrites with Fujisaki Miyako, who authored the novels of Yoshino Chiaki no baai in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.

Me costó engancharme con este tomo, y cada vez son más las cosas que me molestan de esta historia. Que son cosas que estuvieron siempre, pero Meli adolescente prefería hacer la vista gorda, cosa que le cuesta más a la Meli adulta.

Quítando eso, me volvió a pasar que por partes la edición estaba confusa en cuanto a orden de lectura. No sé si es una manía de la autora o si es un problema de quien traduce y edita estos mangas, porque solo me pasa con Junjo (no van a venir a mansplanearme la lectura en japonés porque los cago a piñas. No es eso).

JUST CANT GET ENOUGH!!!

Love this series I cant stress how much. Misaki and Usagi are back and their problems just seems to go on. Misaki is caught up in the whirl wind of family drama, where two brothers want him and their father thinks he’s ruining their lives. So Misaki and Usagi are going on a little trip to take a break from all the troubles at home, seems a nice relaxing weekend at an Onsen( Hot steam Bathhouse) might just be what they need.

Well Usagi dad pops up kills M mood and Usagi-san has to prove to him there’s not a thing to worry about. Which comes in the form of a very sexy bath together, man these two get my mojo going. I love the little world they live in I wanna be a fly on the wall when it comes to these two. All is not perfect when it comes to a love that no one understands an unexpected obstacles keep popping up.

What annoys me though is Misaki’s procrastination when it comes to what he feels for Usagi. You love him quit changing your mind already and the whole “ I am a guy” has lost all meaning. I think that’s kinda why he wants you. It’s a little bit too late to go back now. Otherwise I totally love it, its fun, witty and Misaki is always one reaction a way from a heart attack.

Junjo Egoist has a sweet little interlude in this volume. Miwaki wants Hiroki to tell him he loves him and that’s like pigs flying. Never gonna happen but it was sweet and funny This series never disappoints.

the adventures of everyone's favourite muppets continue. all romantica this time, with a very short (very funny) egoist story at the end.

i'm impressed by the speed with which blu is bringing this out, but yes, the paper quality is pretty shitty. so long as they realise that we the consumers want them to stay in business, so we'll continue to buy the product at the same price even though the quality is worse, but when the profits rise, they should go back to better-quality books.

Este tomo tiene aún más dramón que el otro. DEMASIADO.
Luego de que el padre de Usagi le diga cosas feas a Misaki, él se quedó con la duda de como era visto el con su relación con Akihiko y que realmente tenia que hacer para que eso cambiara.
Pero en general el problema es del padre, re metido. No se da cuenta que si hijo tiene 29 años??
Usagi lo mando a volar y todo arreglado.
Eso y el hecho de que todavia esta conflictuado con respecto a sus sentimientos con Usagi, lo ponen en una situación en donde tiene que poner todas sus cartas en la mesa o si no se vera en un aprieto entre él y el hermano de Akihiko que no para de idolatrarlo.
Yo que el corria, pero ni eso pudo.
Pero todo termina bien y la pareja se solidifica mas que antes.
Pero, lo que destaco un poco más, aunque es un poco tonto tomando en cuenta que todo BL, salvo soft, tiene escenas explicitas, este tomo en concreto fueron SUPER EXPLICITAS. No me malentiendan, me gusta, pero yo me habia acostumbrado de que hubiera, pero que estaban con un poco de censura. Aca no dejo nada a la imaginación.

En fin, me gusto mucho y espero con ansias que algún día se digan que se aman de una vez, no con tanto boleo, pero eso es pedir mucho a Nakamura. Ese es el toque del manga jajaja.

(side note, se me hace muy lindo cómo genuinamente Misaki aconseja a Haruhiko cada que puede acerca de que no abandone su sueño de dedicarse a la arquitectura😿)

Este manga está más centrado en Usami y Misaki y la verdad que es una pareja que me hace mucha gracia y aunque en mucho momentos en los que Usami y por otr lado, tenemos un poco de la relación de Nowaki y Kamijo en san valentin y Nowaki es un amor y me encanta su historia

The egoist Valentine’s Day chapter was very cute. The romantica chapters were interesting. Entertaining, quickly resolved drama. Love to see it. I also really enjoy how Usagi’s BL novels are named similarly to Junjou and how both their animes were released at the same time.

Το vol. 10 είναι χωρισμένο σε 3 κεφάλαια, με τα δύο πρώτα να αφορού�� τους Misaki και Akihito. Ο δεύτερος, αφού ξεφεύγει με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες μια οικογενειακή συνάντηση, φεύγει μαζί με τον Misaki για ένα θέρετρο ιαματικών λουτρών. Ο Misaki, προσπαθώντας να απολαύσει το χρόνο του εκεί, συναντάει τον πατέρα του Akihiko ο οποίος έχει φτάσει στο θέρετρο με σκοπό να τον συναντήσει και να του μιλήσει για ακόμα μια φορά, θυμίζοντάς του πως τ�� μόνο που τον ενδιαφέρει, είναι τα παιδιά του και το να μην πληγωθούν, ειδικά ο Akihiko που έχει κακό ιστορικό με τα πράγματα που χάνει, και πως θα ήταν καλύτερα να μείνει μακριά του εφόσον τα συναισθήματά τους, δεν βρίσκονται στο ίδιο επίπεδο. Έπειτα από πίεση, ο Misaki, αναγκάζεται να τα πει όλα στον Akihiko, ο οποίος και έχει μια έντονη συζήτηση με τον πατέρα του, την οποία άθελά του θα ακούσει ο Misaki και θα τον κάνει να επέμβει, δηλώνοντας πως μπορεί να μην ταιριάζει με τον Akihiko, όμως, είναι πρόθυμος να κάνει ό,τι χρειαστεί για να το πετύχει. Ο τελευταίος, δίνει τέλος στη συζήτηση, ξεκαθαρίζοντας πως τα αισθήματά του απέναντι στον Misaki είναι απόλυτα σοβαρά και πως είναι όπως τώρα, χάρη σε εκείνον, ζητώντας του να μην αφήνει τη γνώμη του κόσμου να τον επηρεάζει και να τον καταβάλει. Γιατί τελικά, αυτή είναι η βασική ιδέα της αγάπης. Ακόμα κι όταν, θεωρητικά, δεν ταιριάζεις με τον άλλον, να προσπαθείς να ταιριάξεις τις ζωές σας, άσχετα από το τι μπορεί να λέει ο καθένας. Ο εκδότης του Akihiko, θα καταφέρει οι δυο τους να βρεθούν μόνοι, έτσι ώστε ο αδερφός του Akihiko να μπορέσει να πολιορκήσει τον Misaki, και γιατί όχι, να τον κάνει να υποκύψει, θέλοντας να δει πως θα αντιδράσει στο ερωτικό κάλεσμα κάποιου άλλου, εμποδίζοντας μάλιστα τον Akihiko να επέμβει, όταν εκείνος καταλαβαίνει πως κάτι περίεργο συμβαίνει. Φυσικά, η εξέλιξη είναι η πλέον ικανοποιητική για εκείνον, αφού ο Misaki, όχι μόνο απορρίπτει τον αδερφό του, αλλά ομολογεί πως αγαπάει τον Akihiko και πως δεν μπορεί να επιλέξει κάποιον άλλον αντί γι' αυτόν. Υπέροχα δοσμένο κεφάλαιο, με πολύ συναίσθημα, που αποδεικνύει περίτρανα πως μπορείς να αγαπάς, ακόμα και κάποιον που είναι κατά τ' άλλα ενοχλητικός και με χίλια δυο ελαττώματα, απλά γιατί είναι εκείνος. Δεν χρειάζονται απαραίτητα εξηγήσεις στην αγάπη, ούτε να το δηλώνεις κάθε ώρα και στιγμή, απλά και μόνο για να είναι αληθινή. Το 1ο κεφάλαιο το είδαμε τηλεοπτικά στο 11ο επεισόδιο της 2ης season, ενώ το επόμενο, είναι το μισό από το 12ο επεισόδιο της 2ης season, το οποίο και κλείνει αυτόν τον κύκλο. Το τελευταίο κεφάλαιο του τεύχους, αφορά τους Nowaki και Hiroki και τη μέρα του Αγίου Βαλεντίνου. Και ναι, μπορεί κάτι τέτοιες μέρες να είναι χαζές, όμως μια μικρή κίνηση μπορεί να σημαίνει πολύ περισσότερα για τον άνθρωπο που αγαπάς και σε αγαπάει, ακόμα κι αν φαντάζει τίποτα στα μάτια των τρίτων, απλά και μόνο γιατί υπάρχει η σκέψη.

I know I haven't posted a review in a long time. I'm going to try to review this manga series again.

Junjou Romantica Act 15-16: I really love this couple more and more. In Act 15, Misaki and Usagi-san go on a trip to a bath, but while there Misaki runs into Usagi-chichi (Usagi's father), who expresses disapproval of the younger's relationship with his son. After trying to keep this meeting and the previous meeting from Usagi, he finally tells him what has been bothering him. Usagi says he shouldn't worry about. Trying not to give too much away. In the anime, I really didn't like the father cause I felt he was being judgemental based of someone's background which isn't fair. And even in the manga he is the same way. I can't wait til the chapter where he comes around. In Act 16, Usagi forgets a manuscript at home so Misaki brings it him. While at the publishing company he meets one of his favorite manga authors, as well as gets locked in a room with Usagi-ani (Usagi's brother) who kisses him, but Misaki rejects him saying that he does indeed love Usagi. Back home, Misaki tells Usagi, that his brother did indeed kiss him, which I was happy about because I wasn't sure if he would keep it from him or not so I was glad that he did tell him.

Junjou Egoist Act 13: This was cute a chapter. Nowaki wants chocolate from Hiro-san but Hiro-san says he doesn't like Valentine's Day. Nowaki is also trying to get Hiro-san to express his feelings more openly but is unsure how accomplish that.

Read this series years ago, collected volumes off of Mangatude (I was a big swapper/collector back in the day) and Justmanga.com (which is now defunct) and Akadot (which is expensive but they had the new releases first) so when I finally got around to reading them I got bored! Probably not a good series to read back to back. It started off funny and sweet but quickly gets repetitive and annoying. I sold the series on ebay for a tidy profit!

Everybody is butting into Misaki's relationship, wanting to know how he really feels about Usami. First, Usami's father is worried Misaki's is not serious and will hurt Usami. Then, Usami's boss wants Misaki's to declare his feelings. In previous volumes Misaki's has said "I love you" to Usami but he has trouble admitting to others what he feels and still can't make the first move.

Well this was another cute volume. I especially loved the Egoist short arc at the end!! The Romantica stuff was good too and we got a small confession in this one!! However, Misaki rakes my nerves sometimes. I just want him to come out with it already! I also have been patiently waiting for Misaki to overpower Usagi like he said he would early on lol anyway, good volume and onto the next.

Misaki is on winter break! He and Usami go to a hot spring. I love that Misaki is finally learning to trust Akihiko and lean on him. Misaki is so sweet, even when he has to turn down Haruhiko. Misaki love for manga is also super cute, his passion for the cooking manga (and Akihiko's resulting jealousy) is 👌. And oh no, Hiroki is absolutely hopeless against Nowaki. I looove it.
