Once again, Jake Bible breaks the mold. I have yet to encounter another author that consistently comes up with such original storylines, and engaging characters. Max Rage doesn’t disappoint! From beginning to end, the storyline is chalk-full of action, violence, coarse language, and a fair amount of hilariously random farting. With the speed at which Bible manages to knock these kick-ass novels out, I’m hoping it won’t be long before I’m reading the next Max Rage adventure.

A fun "Space Rambo" story that doesn't take itself very seriously. Max Rage is a former grunt in Earth Corp's security forces (aka army). His attitude has not improved since he was drummed out of the force for liquidating his superior officers after they left him and his squad to be killed by giant cockroach aliens. Max ends up getting pulled back into Earth Corp intrigue and proceeds to shoot, blast, punch and generally slaughter his way across the stars as he follows his own agenda. Plenty of violence, gratuitous sex, violence, and more violence ensue.

Awsome

If Macho Man Randy Savage, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris met at a party hosted by Al Pacino and decided to make a main character in a book they would make Max Rage. Yes that was a run on sentence, get over it. So this might actually be one of the best books I've read in the last couple of years. I downloaded it on Kindle Unlimited and will be buying it shortly. Worth every penny.

More Jake Bible-ey Fun!

Max Rage is the tale of a troubled young man who....nah...it's MAX RAGE scourge of the universe! Imagine if you took all of the unsavory bits of the male ego, coated it in confidence AND competence and then stuffed that into a nearly indestructible and ruggedly handsome shell and you'd have Max Rage. Also, probably an egotistical sociopath with questionable morals and a penchant for destruction, but hey, omlets...still fun though!

OTT!

Wow, this book has balls made of brass, more testosterone than a American football team and more steroids than Mr Universe compitition!
Max Rage is as rude and crude as it can be, so over the top its brilliantThis is very funny in places and has a higher bodycount than a night playing Doom!

Read the preface

This book is everything the author promises. His other works are over the top, violent, profane and sexist.... You ain't seen nothing yet! For a gloriously irreverent, hyper-violent, out loud laughing experience, pick this up! It will be the best few hours you'll spend this week! Well done Mr. Bible!

Surprisingly entertaining.

When I saw the title of this book, after having read several hundred of the “gems” that KU has to offer I gave it a 60/40 chance of being garbage. I was very Pleasantly surprised to find that this wasn’t the case. Max Rage is actually a fairly entertaining sci-fi action romp.It is definitely worth picking up in order to kill a couple hours.

New hero on the block

How can you not love a farting goddess, metal aliens and the biggest baddest badass since Bill Galactic Hero. Max takes all the charm of The Hulk , the style of Dog The Bounty Hunter and the warm heart of Hellboy.
This is a total fun blood soaked romp through the galaxy.

Having been dumped out of Earth Corp, Max Rage is minding his own business as a bouncer, when he is blackmailed into a job to recover a goddess. What follows is a mad dash across the galaxy and a lot of violence!! This is a fun, over the top book that does not take its self seriously, this is Roak on steroids!!!

Good teaser to the bigger picture

Like most of Jake Bible’s stories there is a good flow and pace. I feel like this story will tap into some of the other characters that have been developed and I can’t wait to read this happen.

That said, I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Mental!

This book is utterly mental, as is Max Rage. Hilarious at times, brutal and bloody at others. Max is my new favourite bouncer.
