This outdated book is how business dealt with disorganization of the 90's. In a sentence to book was about how Chaos calls for crazy strategies. The best of the book was the 50 steps listed at the end of the book.

It was an interesting book for its time. Tom Peters saw what was coming, and most companies ignored what he saw. Now it's time for the book to be donated.

It seemed a revelation when I read it some 15 years ago. In hindsight it seems like a bit hyped up.

My copy is actually a 1993 edition. Having read In Search of Excellence and Thriving on Chaos (which I liked very much at the time) I was perhaps expecting more. Well, Peters got is money's worth from me.

Don't bother with this badly outdated book by an angry old man who wants society to go back to the 1950s when he started working.

Ironically, I read this book after quitting my job and going home to have our first baby. I'm writing this review twenty two years later. The idea that sticks with me is the concept of "reinventing" yourself anew as you enter new projects. So in that sense, I was definitely reinventing myself from businesswoman to stay-at-home mom.
