New from beloved author Joan Holub, Hello Robots! is a fun, playful board book about robots and sequencing!
Hello Buzz. Hello Beep. Hello robots fast asleep. Wake up! Get dressed, robots!
Perfect for reading out loud, Joan Holub’s hilarious text and Chris Dickason’s lively illustrations will have little ones learning and laughing as they try to help sleepy robots complete their morning routine in the correct order.
A clever, interactive approach to first concepts, the Hello board book series introduces important “next-step” concepts like sequencing in a hilariously engaging way.
NY Times bestselling children's book author: GODDESS GIRLS series + HEROES IN TRAINING series (w Suzanne Williams); THIS LITTLE TRAILBLAZER a Girl Power Primer; ZERO THE HERO; I AM THE SHARK. Lucky to be doing what I love!
I love the bright primary colors and chunky pictures. Logan loves the robots doing silly things and when I use a robot voice to read "does not compute."
I love this story and think it's super silly. My only criticism is more so of society in that we are placing so much emphasis on STEM and machine work and I think we'll be missing out on other aspects of life. Because robots and machines seem so awesome to children I think they need a certain amount of regulation with how much interaction they have with them. This is one of the more silly stories I've read where the robots are humanized and have to get up and get ready for "work" and they have gotten ready incorrectly through silly mistakes and must reboot to properly dress and eat before starting their day. Fun and playful.
My 3 year old loves this. He's only starting to be interested in books and actually reading them, so it makes sense that he gravitated to something about robots. Every night at story time he "reads" it (memorized) to his Papa and then he asks Papa to read it. I like the clear personalities for each robot and the melody of the words. It's overall just a cute and fun read.
The robots wake up and start their day by getting dressed and eating breakfast in a very unusual way. Their socks go on after their shoes, and their cereal ends up all over the place. Eventually they need a REBOOT!
A great rhyming robot book for babies or toddlers, but probably too simple for older kids to be interested.
Thought robots would be fun for son, he was too young for book but illustrations are too busy. Silly rhyming story of robots getting together but not a great read or one we would do again.
