Max the Rabbit Plays Hide and Seek is an adorable children's book written for ages 0 - 3 years old. Max, the cute white bunny is playing hide and seek with all his friends, Chick, Porcupine, Froggy, and Kitty. Each animal friend is hidden on the page in the scenery. Each hidden animal is a puzzle piece which you need to put together to solve the mystery of Max's best hiding spot on the last page.

I have a 3 and 1 year old and they loved this book. They actually fought over it because they loved putting the puzzle together and returning the pieces to the correct pages. I think this book is very cute, a great story, and a fun fine motor/learning skill for young children. The board book is nice and sturdy and the puzzle pieces are nice and sturdy as well. The puzzle pieces can be removed and replaced easily. I would love to have more fun books like this.

I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

This morning I received this book through the Goodreads Giveaway. It is a delightful board book with nice drawings and colors. Max the rabbit goes out and finds his friends, all camouflaged by something--chick in the dandelions, etc. Each of these animals are a puzzle piece that the child picks out; the last page is the board where the puzzle can be put together. I know this is going to be a great gift for my grandson!

I'm going to have to think and plan carefully about how I'm going to do this. It might be seen as a little young for the kids I'm working with, but I think the puzzle is something they would enjoy, especially some of the three year olds. I think kids will enjoy it, but I'm not sure how to create a lesson plan.

Max the Rabbit plays Hide and Seek is a really fun interactive board book for young children. As you read the story you find the hidden character and then use the pieces to put the puzzle together on the back page of the book. It is a sturdy hard backed book that will entertain the young ones over and over. I received my copy through Goodreads first reads in exchange for my honest review.

My kids (2 and 4) loved this book. They both wanted to put the puzzle together and after we were finished reading, fought over who could sit and look at it alone first.
