This is a great book and well worth the read. I wish they would update it for Google Maps and latest best practices. Would also be nice to see a chapter on hiring from Upwork or Fiverr.

It’s kind of a catch 22. You can write the best web copy but if your website loads slowly no one will stick around to read it. But how can you make your site stand out, while keeping the loading times reasonable?

Fortunately, Website Optimizing shows the average person how they can have full website optimization. Now you don’t have to make a choice. You can have a quick loading website that looks professional and still create great web copy that demands attention.

I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by Website Optimizing. I expected it to be heavy on optimizing code and graphics. I never really expected this book to discuss web copy. Putting the two types of information together makes perfect sense.

Pick this book up, open it to a random page and start reading. A couple of minutes later you'll have found something on your site that needs fixing.

The book is packed with advice, case studies and tools. It's aimed at both techies and marketing and should be read by both. If you're serious about your web site go and buy this now.

libro ricco e apprezzabile, sopratutto la prima parte, sulla SEO, e relativi "case-studies" .. però..ho l'impressione (che non ho avuto modo di verificare) che la sua origine sia quella di una collezione di saggi e/o articoli nati sfusi tra di loro, e che questa si rifletta poi sul suo stile, rendendo difficoltosa la lettura e l'individuazione a posteriori dei contenuti

much of this book is just rehashing the same stuff from other books. There are some really useful pointers, though, and it does have some great details that are left out by other places

Technical book that does what you would expect. The math was above me but the text sections added to my understanding of web obitimization.
