From the moment Ariel first looked inot the hot smouldering eyes of Captain Ian Montague, she knew he was exactly the sort of hell-raising scoundrel she most abhorred. Even Montague's maddening sense of humor-and sense of passion-was endurable if it helped the British cause...
LURED INTO PASSION
At first, the irony of it all had amused Montague. That he, a rake with decidedly decadent habits, should at last be shackled to a cold, virginal prude like Ariel Frazier. Usually bad ratings on goodreads don't mean a book is bad, just that it's offensive to someone. I love offensive, politically incorrect content so *takes aim* *tosses up skycraper size TBR*
The beginning and the end is quite good, the identity of the head spy was unexpected. However the middle, where Ariel and Montague are staying at and spying on her distant relations is boring, everyone seems incompetent and it felt like this subplot was inserted just for page count.
