Wine is great, but having it delivered right to your house is awesome, at least until it kills you.
When one local woman dies, Hunter writes it off as a tragic allergic reaction, but when another dies the same way, he realizes they may have shared more than just a monthly wine membership.
Meanwhile, Shelby and Noelle struggle to master their newfound magical abilities and Raeann has troubles of her own.
Join Noelle and crew - both living and post-life - for some fresh chaos, magic, and humor in this next full-length witchy adventure. This is book 7 in the Witches of Keyhole Lake Mystery series.
I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I've always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.
When I was a little girl, I didn't want to grow up to be a writer—I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, humor, and romance.
I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I'm not writing or reading, I'm racing motorcycles with my taller, more handsome half, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.
I'm eternally grateful for all the people who help make my life what is today - friends, readers, family. No woman is an island.

. I enjoy the humor, the shenanigans, and the quirky characters in this series. Ghosts are an intricate part of the community. Another high school friend from Noelle's past is introduced, when her mother is murdered. The solving of the murder seems less important than the everyday lives of the growing group of residents featured in this series. Not saying that's a bad thing, just an observation.
I'm looking forward to reading the more in this series (when they are published since this is the last one at this time) to get to know the lovable characters better and to discover what happens with this eclectic group.
This is a clean read that is able to stand on its own. However, it most definitely makes more sense if you read the entire series in the order they were written.
This book concludes with an H.E.A., but the next book in the series is sure to include another murder mystery that needs to be solved.
I was in a reading slump and Keyhole brought my mind back to where my heart is.
Never a dull moment in good ole Keyhole. There sure is something in the air and the mystery to be solved is a bit complicated. A colorful crime is in the making and our new villains need a lesson in tact and then some. Relationships are getting to next level status and the heat in the magical world seems to be brewing something cosmic.
Definetly the cozy mystery I needed to pump life back into my mind. Absolutley love reading about the eclectic lives of the Keyhole community and envisioning their magical family bonds growing.
It was so good to be back in Keyhole Lake again with Noelle, her family and friends. Murder or not, this is one crazy, fun group of people, dead or alive. The characters are so well written you feel like you know them and let's not forget the snark, gossip and laughs you'll get along the way. As always, this one has a good mystery and plot. Rae's powers seem to be growing. She waters a plant and flicks a little life back into it and minutes later she sees the vine coming around the edge of her computer! As if that's not enough, the customers go crazy with energy at her coffee shop the next day. The old people that can barely walk are up dancing around when she calls Noelle for help. I can't begin to tell you how funny this scene is. If course there's a murder to investigate and Noelle helps her boyfriend, Hunter, who is the sheriff, investigate. Lots of twists and turns and a very enjoyable book. Five stars from me.
A great read. Again missed Max having a bigger role but this was a great little plot with enough twist to keep every cozy lover happy but still leaving you wondering where the plot would take you next. The Battle of the Witches? Nice to see the characters unfurl even more, gain in confidence and that there little circle is growing by leaps and bounds - similar to their magic. When the meanest divorcee in town drops down ill in the grocery store and later dies it all points to murder. However their investigation keeps hitting brick walls. How and why? Her daughter (a lifelong friend that had drifted away with her marriage) becomes close to the group as does the ghost of her dead mother. Add in another murder, a nefarious plot, their witch powers going into mega drive, an attempt to run her truck off the road and wine for a really good read. Will they get all the answers? Plus who left the satchel?
I can never not love this series. It's like going back home after being gone for a spell.
Having the southern charm that I love so much always makes me smile along with the funny sweet characters always makes reading this series so much fun.
I love these characters and this town so much and I dread the day when I come to the end of the series.
I truly enjoyed this book and got some laughs along the way as I usually do, but definitely from a usually cantankerous woman turned ghost. She wasn't going to just idly sit by and let someone else take over what was once hers. I loved that she was willing to change. Even if she saw the error of her ways a little too late.
I loved that Noelle was able to help not only one but two people in the community come to terms of what happened. And a long the way, get more girls to join her girlfriend group.
There is a storm a brewing in the area and I know it's going to be big. Now to see where it goes from here!
Noelle's back in the thick of things and this time it's the murder of an old lady who was mean to all, so the killer could be anyone in town - plenty of red herrings for you to follow as you attempt to solve the crime along with Noelle! I love the cast of characters the author has created and how they interact with each other - they all have each other's back whether family or friend. The magical touches are not overdone - they almost appear just to be a realistic part of life. As has been consistent in this series, lots of funny and laugh-out-loud moments. As the book was winding down, the author provided a nice lead-in to what the future might hold for Noelle and her fellow witches - can't wait to read the next release! A good cozy read that I have no hesitation in recommending.
You know my favourite holiday destination? Keyhole Lake!
Whenever I feel lazy or not motivated to do anything at all, I take a holiday at Keyhole Lake to join Noelle, Shelby, Aunt Abby, Gabi, Rae, Hunter, Cody, Matt and all the rest of their wonderful friends to have a good laugh, lots of smiles and some suspense.
This one didn't disappoint at all (again) and made me crack up at puns like "sobriety impaired" and other bits in the sometimes outrageously funny dialogues. These stories really have it all, lovely characters, whether they are "living impaired" or not, evil villains, cranky little old ladies, nice hunks, bratty kids, or teenagers struggling with threatening adulthood, a great setting and well plotted plots.
Thanks again, Tegan Maher, for nice relaxing and funny read.
Of Witches of Keyhole Lake Mysteries!! If you're not reading them, what's your problem?? Pick one up right now and start reading! Unless the book has so many mistakes I can't read a word, I'm not looking for them. If I come across mistakes, big deal. Unless it changes the entire meaning of the story, I skip past it. I'm reading to enjoy myself. Not dissect the book for errors. It drives me bat sh#t crazy when readers pick a book a part! I just love to read. For the sheer enjoyment. Especially Tegan's books. If you want to laugh and get lost in a mystery, pick up one of Tegan's books. Thank you for having your books in kindle unlimited. I wish more authors did.
A great which he southern cozy mystery/urban fantasy series. A great cast of characters a bit of Snark and wet and lots of southern sayings. A small town in Georgia that has a number of which is living there along with a healthy and growing post living society. Another words ghosts. Other supernatural beings living nearby counties and occasionally come around. Follow along as this southern society that is intermixed with which is ghosts and normal humans interact and live. Kind of like a Mayberry with a supernatural twist. Small-town life yet still lots of weird goings-on
This is the 7th book in the Witches of Keyhole Lake series. As both the living & not so living crew expand, trouble looms on the horizon. Ida Crenshaw collapsed in the grocery store while Noelle is shopping. Now is shocked to hear she's been poisoned. But is she the only one? Rose, Ida's daughter, leans on Noe for support while arranging Ida's funeral. But something ain't right when when Rose's estranged father shows up with a tacky new wife. As things get more complicated, both the magical & ghostly worlds feel unsettled. Is it this case or is something more terrible looking on the horizon? This is definitely a noteworthy series to read.
The Living Impaired Community Angus was Keyhole's former town sobriety-impaired citizen who had died a couple winters before.
Verbiage “Nope,” she said, popping her P. " "I love to see Karma in action, and I just did. Ohmugawd."
Reference to past books but that’s another story, though it’s short. (A novella) hehe.. His was another long story that I won't get into here, but suffice it to say...
Small Town Gossip "She refers to the salon as the local information dissemination center. So let her disseminate some information in my direction for once." It's my kinda stuff, gotta love it!
We work on chasing down 2 different mysteries here. The Wine of the Month Club that we'll obviously solve because it's what this book is based on. But we're still getting more clues about the girls powers that are going crazy. We get a lot more info on all of that this time but it's still just building blocks that are waiting to be all linked together. I highly recommend this book and series though, you can't help but fall in love with everyone because they are that good and that relatable!!!
I have been binge reading this series for the last few days. Each book is both a stand alone and builds on the previous books. While I started with the 1st volume go ahead and be a rebel and start here if you want. Noelle and her family, birth and chosen, take no guff from anyone. From punching the mean girls to using magic to silence a whiny brat to helping the new ghost fit in they re doing what they think is right. Go ahead join them and be ready to pay the fines for starting a fight.
This was a great read. It is funny and always has little bits of extra mystery on the side. The stories are well put together and there is a mice flow. I only noticed 1 maybe 2 typo errors, one where the wrong name was mentioned. Since I can only recall the one it must not of detracted from the reading flow too much.
There has been an excerpt from the following book so far in each I've read. I usually skip it because I've not caught up to the new books yet so immediately start the next. Recommended series and author.
The mystery was sort of clunky, but OK. As with all of the other books, the delight in reading this comes from the warmth of the characters. The goings-on in the town are a joy to read.
I finally realized that the author is adding a few continuing characters with every book, so I have started making notes.
There are some significant differences from earlier books in the series. There was no climactic peril scene. And this book is setting the stage for more momentous challenges to come. So there is a real arc starting.
This series would be very sad if most of the deceased didn't get stuck in Keyhole. The mysteries in this series always have a twist. The characters are some of the most entertaining I've read. Noelle is the main narrator but she interacts with everyone. I hope the next book tells more about the blind guy Gabi met because I have a theory about him.
Couldn't tell you anything about this story and I just finished it. It has nothing to do with the quality of the work, It's this damned pandemic.
I zoned out reclining here with ice packs on my back, warm blankets everywhere , lovely Puss-kins lay purring about me and I just read. I'm sure it's a good story, she's a consistently good writer. I've read everything I can get my hands on.
Besides the book reads as if someone writing in her diary, the southern ways of honey, sweeties, and all.
Can't believe the wine of the month club is run by an old lady. she not only have to package her wine, she has to make the wine too. how did she do that? she only just hired someone to help her moving the boxes. I am surprised the author didn't make her killed by that helper.
Murder is never good for business but when it happens to people who own land and someone wants that land, you get the picture. Then on the up side, you add new people to your group it makes for more fun.
I love this series and the characters in it. I am glad things are working out for the core group. Cannot wait to read more about them.
This book seemed to start slower than the other books in the series but I found it. or more intriguing in many ways. Yes there is still always a murder but trying to solve it took me to the very end and also has me more excited about the next book than any other. Ioved this book.
I really liked this one. It might have been the best one since the first book of this series. I like the build up, the romance, and most of all the mystery. Here's hoping that book 8 will come out soon, and hopefully without the release delays (it was unavailable for a couple months on amazon-drat my timing)
I love this series and can’t wait till book 8 comes out in Feb 2019. This one ties up several issues about who is trying to get the land while they solve the murders of two older ladies with much sought after land. Please more romance....need some definition with Hunter. He needs to move in at least.
These books are so much fun. I love the back and forth between the living and the "not so" dearly departed. There's always a nice little mystery but, most important, is the back and forth between this great family and friends. If you haven't read this series yet, do yourself a favor and get started. If you can, start from the beginning but everyone is pretty much explained so take your pick.
Entertaining, easy reading, murder as always and witches and ghosts on hand to cause mayhem around the town. Max the talking donkey, Justin the adopted child, rats as pets, horses and motorbikes all rolled together to make this series work. Go to the beginning and catch up 😉
Once again someone wants to buy the farm from Noelle but she's still not interested in selling it no matter how much is offered, when 2 ladies who live near her pasa away and it's found that they were poisoned Hunter decides to investigate, there are changes coming and maybe not fir the better .
I really enjoy this series. It is a little heavier on relationships than mystery, but I enjoy that. The reader gets the opportunity to get to know the characters well. And the characters are wonderful. I also like the storylines. They are interesting and mix the ordinary with the paranormal.
While I like this series, it is feeling a little stale. I find myself skimming over redundancies. Also some details don't match. Noelle drives to her shop, someone picks her up, drops her back at the farm, and her truck is there? What? The number of characters are starting to get confusing for me to keep straight.
This made me laugh alot. It's hard to laugh while being quiet. My family used to scratch there heads seeing me busy a bit at books but sit straight faced or with just a smile at comedys, maybe I'm just weird. I love this vast of characters, I really do. I just might cry when the series ends.
The characters are quirky and fun ,there are allot of twists and turns and im always surprised at who there murderers are. Its fun and suspenseful and sometimes hard to put down. I recommended this book to friends who also enjoy it and my sister recommended it to me. Do yourself a favor and check it out
Friends, family and another murder in Keyhole Lake bring Noelle and Hunter into another mystery that may reach across the entire community. It was nice meeting a new resident and old friend of Noelle's in this book. Plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing and the reveal was sad but satisfying.
