Abby has fought long and hard against the undertow of grief trapping her family. Her sister, Providence, went missing nearly a year earlier, yet their father adamantly refuses to abandon the search. Abby struggles to maintain hope, but the loss hurts too much and life must go on, right? Finally beginning to accept her new normal, she’s unprepared for the arrival of two strange men who claim to know her sister while spouting stories of alien invaders. Worse, the giants looked more like demons than aliens with their blood red skin, and their unbelievable tale is just as cruel.
Ashtoret was honored to be chosen for the mission that would save the human homeworld, although that wasn’t his only reason for going to Earth. He made a solemn oath to his friend Providence that he would bring word to her family she was safe. Never in his wildest dreams did Ashtoret think he’d discover his singular purpose for being on the hostile blue planet.
Caught in the crossfire, Abby doesn’t know what to think, but she can’t stand by when all hell rains down upon their strange visitors. With threats closing in from all quarters, Ashtoret must fight to hold onto his sexy, brave human.
Like all my tales, Warrior’s Purpose is intended for adults.
Writing is my hobby. As a child, I had a hard time learning to read, so anything I took an interest in was deemed acceptable. I have always enjoyed fairy tales, the older unsanitized versions, as well as the modern ones, mythology, science fiction, action and romance. As I read, my mind wanders, spinning its own tales. So, I figured I’d share my ramblings with you. The books I write contain little snippets from my life. I leave it to you to decide which scenes are fact, fiction, or a bit of both. I am far braver and bolder than is likely sensible, so my heroines are just as gutsy. I'd probably be categorized as an adrenalin junky. My life has been an adventure. I've done archaeology in the hot sun, am well versed with power tools, took Tae Kwon Do in college, have ridden on a Harley with a dark stranger, but never met an alien, vampire or shifter, that I know of. My stories are tawdry, feature a heroine who is gifted in some way, and will always end happily ever after. It is my opinion this is meant to be entertainment, and a depressing ending is not entertainment. Real life offers enough depressing crap. However, I have been called dark. My apologies for my horrific grammar. It is something I struggle with. It is probably connected to the slow reading thing. Believe me people have tried. I truly hope that my fairy tales make up for it.
I have really enjoyed this series, but this entry is lacking. Without detailing the motivations of the bad guys, the story is very one-sided. Despite bringing the story back to Earth, the story lacks depth. This one is paired with the next, which I will read because most of these books have been better.
I read chunks & skimmed. Not enough intensity in the book to hold my interest. I loved the action scenes especially the last one since where the H kicked ass.
This book was a little different from the ones before it in the series but still fun to read. Set mostly on Earth, well, you know how we are, Earth men show up to a tea party with an Army. Ash comes to extend an olive branch and all neck breaks loose. Abby is not as fierce a character as the previous heroines in the series but she does have her moments. The action is mostly realistic and the writing makes you feel like you are right in the action. The Florida details were right on point and I certainly appreciated that. There is a lot of conflict occurring in the story and it all flows nicely. I read it in less than three hours but I would have read longer if the story had continued.
Amazing addition to the series with a snarky humorous hero and a stubborn and determined heroine. Stephanie has done it again blending fun drama and steamy scenes to keep you engaged throughout the book
Another good read. This book had quite a few moment with Hope and Aculus having their back and forward banters. The sex scenes read totally awesome. This author really got my attention with the series.
If you haven’t read the previous books in this series... WHY THE HELL HAVENT YOU?? Ok ok... sorry.. 😁😁 you really should!! This book can be read as a stand-alone... but I really wouldn’t recommend that because.. firstly.. why would you want to when the previous books have so much great great story happening in them. To get the maximum enjoyment from this book you really need to read the others in the series.
A whole fantastic story of red skinned warriors, space kidnappings, epic battles between good and bad and totally kick ass heroines and the red dudes that are their fated mates!
I was estatic when I heard this book was releasing so soon after Book 4! The Cadi are going on a road trip!!! To earth!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
After accepting a mission to go to earth to warn the inhabitants of the dreaded JB’s..( nope not Justin biebers...😂😂😂 I just can’t spell the bad guys names ) Whilst making contact with the father of their friend and earth girl providence...Ash and Vintor run into one cluster f**k after another...Ash makes an escape when special ops attack ( and Vintor and Providence’s Dad are captured ) during the meeting and after being rescued by Providence’s younger sister Abby..realises that this mission has led to so much more that he expected. With the aid of Bonehead ( bahahahha as forever he shall be now known ) and much ass kicking..the mission continues.
I adore this series, and this writer...the plot, the action, the fast pace, the fantastic world building and the wonderful characters, the laughs and the off the charts chemistry 🔥🔥🔥!! The whole series is an absolute pleasure to read and this book did not disappoint.
If bonehead and Hope don’t get a book I will pitch a full on fit and SULK 😂😂😂
This Cadi Warrior book swings more toward a light hearted main couple again (like the third in the series). The MMC is actually silly at times and their dialogue is sweet. I like that she is a bigger woman and less athletic. Each time romances address female body size and appearance, it reframes beauty myths into something available to every woman. She thinks to herself,
“Next to Ash, with his ripped abs, corded arms, and an ass she could bounce quarters off of, she was a bunch of pudge.”
And his point of view,
“I have heard you human females complain about this,” he scoffed. “A Cadi warrior likes a curvy female. Our females have them, but yours are exceptional.”
And,
“It is very attractive and supremely feminine,” he husked near her ear.
Given how devastating our society's socialization is, we could probably never hear this contradiction of traditional beauty myths enough.
Another insight I liked was the MMC’s comment about the cost of a species warring with themselves for so long,
“I have witnessed many horrors and lost many friends. As a young warrior I learned to harden myself to it and go on to fight another day. But now that we have peace, it angers me how we all were. Perhaps if we allowed ourselves to feel the depth of our loss, let it wash over us, maybe we wouldn’t have been so cavalier about going into battle, and the war would’ve ended sooner.”
It's interesting to see all the technology Cadi lost due to their centuries of war. It's a reminder of what humanity could achieve if we stopped being so horrible to each other.
The verbal sparring between Aculus and Nadia is delightful.
OMG!! Another Cady warrior is here! I was so looking forward to this book after Riley and Cyprian story; knowing that the guys were sending Ash and Vintor to earth to meet Providence family had me giddy for months! This book covers Ashtoret (Ash) and Abby (Peanut) story. Ash was sent to earth on a rescue mission with his fellow Cadi warriors and Aculus, the Cadi and Osivoire know is just a matter of time before the Juror Biljana discovered earth location. So, they plan to contact the government though Providence father, and let them know a shield is going to be put into place to protect earth easy-peasy, right? Except nothing is easy, they arrived at the house and instead of Providence’s father her sister Abby is there, somehow the government discovered they are in earth, and Vintor (another Cadi warrior) is capture along with Providence’s father, and Ash and Abby are in the run… This book has it all, action, adventure, laughter, a kickass heroine, alpha no nonsense hero who is sweet, funny and an animal in the sac and great sex!! What else can you ask? This is one of my favorite series, I remember downloading book one in a whim almost a year ago, it was one of the best erotic PNR I have read so far, and book five is not different. Word of advice, even though you would enjoy this book as a standalone, I will highly recommend starting with book one and working your way down, just because the book mention situations that happened on previous books.
These are quick and hot romance books--strong language and sexual scenes. Each book features different human females and alien males. The characters also appear in the future installments in minor ways. Up until now, they have been pretty good HEAs for the main characters. This one, although a HEA, ends rather abruptly with quite a few loose ends.
I would like these to be longer books. They just seem a bit rushed to me. The World Building is good, since the ongoing plotline adds detail in each book. The sex is hot, but the romance buildup could also benefit with longer length books. The characters have been interesting. I enjoy them enough that I'll continue the series.
I am reading this series and enjoying it. This book is filled with humor from Provenance’s sisters. It’s a wild ride this book, literally. Ashtoret, Vintor, Aculus, and his crew have set off for Earth. They are trying to warn the planet’s leaders about the bad villains. Provenance worked with them to go see her dad first. He has a government job and could help impress upon the leaders somehow. Well, things don’t work out as planned. I don’t want to give too much away but Aculus is a fantastic ally to the Cadi Warriors. Read On!
First, the cover is a beautiful snapshot from a scene in the book. It is lovely. All of the Cadi Warriors Books have been great reads and this one is great as well. I like this author’s imagination. She has a nack of putting so much personality into her characters that they come alive on the pages. This book was full of action/adventure and romance as the characters race against time and luck to rescue loved ones and the sadness of leaving someone behind. This was well done.
Great book. Fast moving. SPOILERS! I can see all this happening in reality. Aliens coming to Earth, our military attacking instead of talking, A whole family being whisked away... Yeah. I can see it now. This is a crazy good plot, emphasis on crazy. ET on steroids. Meant for adults to read, not kids. It is better to read the series in order or you'll get lost.
I really enjoyed Abby and Ash’s story. This one just wasn’t long enough. I look forward to hearing more about them in the following books. This series is full of adventure and action in each book. This one isn’t quite as exciting as book 4 but it’s leading to what appears to be an interesting story of how the beloved Cadi warriors will try to save earth even when the military is fighting against them.
I enjoyed reading this book from the first page the drama, suspense, the danger and the interaction between Ashtore and Abby was one that it felt like I was there watching the story unfold. I want to read the next book. I would recommend this book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
Yeah book 5 was a great edition to this series if you like sci-fi romance with kick ass story plot great romance added to the mix check out this series I am looking forward to reading more books in the series. No spoilers I voluntarily review this book for my honest opinion. Reasons I enjoyed this book: EntertainingGreat world buildingOriginalSteamyWonderful characters

I really enjoy all of the series so far......Read the whole book in one setting....Just could not put it down......Will definitely recommend it to my friends.Great read from start to finish.
Stephanie West writes great love/lust stories combined with great sci-fi stories. They can be read one on one or out of order but read in order adds a whole new layer to the story. Great characters and plots. Glad that I bought them as I am sure that I will read them again.🐱
Honestly I had stopped reading the Cadi books because they had become repetitive and boring. Every 5th page was sex and more sex. I'm not a dry old lady and like sex but when is all they talk about... is boring to me. But got stuck when I was reading Boaz's book so I have come back and continue reading the Cadi Worries book to understand them better.
Finally, the long awaited crossover with references to the Anguis Defenders series.
After reading all of the Anguis Defender books first as I did, I can now see where the big red alien comes from as the Air Force base/black ops holding facility is infiltrated.
The cad i came to help earth, but typical we try to kill them. Multiple times. Abby helps Ash escape he mates her and saves her and her family. Great action and romance.
Having read about Boaz I found the repeat of the escape together and so I skimmed through much. Vintor is a very honor driven character and his romance with Maya is great.
Ash is one big tough cookie, hard on the outside with a gooey sweet center. It was great to meet Abby and most of the rest of Providence's family. But we left off on quite a cliffhanger!
I'm so glad this series is continuing! I can't wait for book 6 :) Ash and Abby are perfect for each other and I love the humor thrown in among the serious plotline
This was a wild and crazy ride. Up until now the books have taken place far from Earth but this book brings the Cadi Warriors to our planet. Of course humans go crazy and mess everything up! Great read.
To be honest this is my first book I have read from this series. And I definitely love Ash and Abby story that now I'm going to start and read the rest of them. I hope we get the next one in the Cadi Warriors very soon.
