How would you like to go to space? In space, people and things are weightless! In space, you travel 17,500 miles per hour. The crew is composed of a commander, a pilot , mission specialists and payload specialists. The flight deck is on top, the-mid deck is for living and working, the lower deck has clean air and water, and the crew lives in a small cabin up front. Many of the foods are dried and the person cooking has to hydrate certain foods. Then the crew must fasten their trays of food to their laps. To be an astronaut, you must be prepared to work 16 hours a day! The book even shoed a man playing a saxophone while he was floating in the spaceship! I found this book to be very fascinating!
