The Lizard Man Heroes Arc
Bit of a slow start with this arc, I think what hurt it most was the fact that up until this point we were following Ainz as he journeys through world but in this he's not even a background character, he only has 2 appearances.

For the rest of the time we are following a Lizard man as he travels to see other clans to join forces to defeat the evil army, that will be attacking them which is owned by Ainz, still not sure why he was trying to exterminate them. The Lizard is alright but it took a while to warm up to him, he gets really interesting when he develops a relationship with an albino from another clan. They hit it off almost immediately and it really gets you caring for them both as a couple and the upcoming threat.

He also befriends a fellow warrior which again fleshes them both out nicely, we get to the big battle which was alright what I enjoyed about it was Cloytus he decides he wants to save the lizard man which goes against what Ainz said but he allows it as long as they live under his rule.

So yeah it won me over at the end, defiantly a 4 out of 5 stars.

The final showdown between Cocytus and the Lizardmen! It's exciting and full of action and then we get Ainz Ooal Gown planting the seeds for a growing empire.

Then we flip over to the most boring thing I've read in a while: human politics. Yeah, we get some lore drops, some set up for future plot, etc. but...there's a lot it's trying to give us in such a short amount of time with next to no action that it reads like an infodump. (Dunno if I just wasn't up to it today or what, but I couldn't keep my focus on the book) But this does catch me up (roughly) to where I am in the anime.

A much bigger volume than previous (not that I'm complaining) holding alot of new information while also introducing some new characters that will be interesting to see how they will fit in the series from here out.

The climatic battle between Cocytus and the Lizardmen brought chills. This was due to the nobility of both sides, especially the Lizardmen staring guaranteed death in the face.

The Lizardman Arc comes to an end. I thought it was a great arc, though it made it hard to focus on the main characters ^^;
