'Incluso los Reyes no pueden evitar querer rescatar a una damisela en apuros a veces'.
The King Virgin's bride de Natalie Knight serie multiautor libro 1
Edward and Gwen are supposed to marry different people not each other. Edward is best friends with Gwen's brother and he knows Gwen but he never really paid attention to her. So when he sees her he has to have her, damn the consequences.
Gwen is more than happy to choose Edward over her soon to be husband. She has wanted to be with him for a while so now her dreams are coming true. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.
Will they or won't they? Do they or don't they? Knight will have one's head spinning with the sordid tale of a King wooing his Queen. Will Edward choose duty over his heart? Gwen and Edward are a naughty match waiting to spark a fire. The King's Virgin Bride is a scandalous tango of love.
A short, very sexy , story of young impulsive love at first site. And our emotions. Heightened, impulsive behavior.. Rules go out the door along with any other logical details. Sometimes...we have to be pulled aside, for the better of us all speech.....it's true! We can't think about what's right or wrong. She. We can't keep our hands, mouths off eachother.. Sometimes,,,,we have to be pulled away. Separated for our own good! Or do we? Why did we listen? It's our lives...and it's obvious were miserable with out eachother, doing what were told was the right thing to do? Well Not anymore! We're the only ones going to rule our life.s, Press be damned.. we're in love and that's all that matters! Right?
Blech! Horrid. Heroine is a narcissistic twit. Hero is just horrible. Both self absorbed. They're just bad people I wouldn't trust to run a lemonade stand, let alone a fictitious country.

Edward is a king who is set to marry a woman he cares nothing about. Her family just happens to be willing to put a lot of money into the royal charities in his kingdom for her to be able to have the title of Queen. During the party where he is to announce his engagement to "the boring, prissy, title-grabbing cow otherwise known as Ignora Bingsley-Doopenhorf" he spots a goddess walking (or is it stumbling) into the ballroom. His best friend and heir to the throne of his country's greatest ally, Prince James announces that that is his sister Princess Gwen. Edward points out that she's drunk and James says, you would be, too, meet her fiancé, Marquis de Roach. Boy does that name fit Gwen's slimy fiancé. When Edward goes up to Gwen he can't believe what a gorgeous woman she has become. The sparks fly between these two and it's going to take a miracle for these two to stay apart. Gwen has always had a crush on Edward and now Edward can only see his life happy if she is in it as his Queen. Grab this fabulous book and find out what these two get up to after reconnecting again. Will Edward and Gwen get their HEA or will their lives be bound by duty to their people and country? Loved this story.
I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the Royal Weddings series and features the story of King Edward and Princess Gwen. King Edward was set to announce his engagement to a princess he doesn't care about when he sees Gwen walking in. Gwen is the little sister of his best friend and when Edward sees her, he decides she will be his queen. Only Gwen is engaged to another man also. When Edward takes Gwen to see his throne, he asks her to marry him and be his queen. Gwen refuses because of them being engaged already to others, but Edward persists and eventually convinces her to marry him. When Edward's aides hear of this, they force him to honor his original agreement, hurt both Edward and Gwen. Only things don't work out as planned. I loved this book, I thought Edward was funny and persistent. He knew he wanted Gwen and wouldn't take no for an answer. They were good together and really loved one another. The descriptions of their fiancées were funny and you could understand why they didn't want to marry them. Good one.
King Edward is marrying a woman he didn't love much less care for. At the party to announce their engagement he saw his childhood friend's sister and was captivated by her beauty. Edward knew he would do whatever he wanted to claim Gwen even if it caused the biggest scandal his kingdom. Gwen is disgusted by the man her family has sold her hand in marriage to but has no way out of it. So when she arrives at the party she starts slamming drinks down to numb her pain. Edward makes his way towards where Gwen is staggering around and catches her before she can fall. However can his being King make it easier for them to end their engagements and be together?
This was a great steamy story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this to any of my book friends.

King Edward I’d being forced to take a bride he doesn’t want and knows she only wants the name and crown. At his engagement party he sees his best friend Prince James come in with a beautiful woman and knows she’s his soulmate. When she turns he realizes that it’s Princess Gwen James’s younger sister. Edward remembers her as a little girl that played with them as children. Gwen is engaged to a man her parents are making her marry for their own selfish reasons but she hates it. When she sees Edward, who she’s has had a crush on him for years, coming toward her talk. They tell each other that they don’t want their arranged engagements and decide they want each other. They go off together but will they have objectives thrown their way by others that don’t want them together?

A wonderful well written story of arranged marriages can never hold up to the chemisty of love. Talk about a page turning, attention getting, fabulous read. King Edward is engaged to a woman that repulses him she only wants the name and crown. Virgin Princess Gwen who is Prince James little sister is engaged to a man that she was auction off to the highest bidder that King Edward seemed not to be invited to, that is threating her family with the tabloids. He realizes this is his childhood friend that he hasn't seen in years. Can love and chemistry win out? He is the king after all. What appropriate names for the unwanted two that they were suppose to marry de roach and ignora (ignore her) Haha love the irony. A definite one click you will not be dissappointed ro follow the antics of a great tale.

Oh what a twisted tale we weave! Natalie Knight brings us a royal scandal that will nearly light the kindle up! Princess Gwen and King Edward are both betrothed to other people, though they would rather not be. Knowing each other since they were children, when they run into each for the first time in years, sparks ignite! But how to go about this attraction knowing what their futures hold? A tale of forbidden love and sex, engagements and weddings, and setting things right. A fantastic read! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Edward = 5/5 Heroine, Gewn = 5/5 Chemistry, = 5/5 Sex, = 5/5 Plot, = 4/5 Mystery, = 2/5 Action, = 2/5 Darkness, = 1/5 Humor, = 3/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this auther = yes
King Edward is suppose to marry someone he doesn't love or even like. Her family is suppose to bring a lot of money to the crown so she can be named Queen. At his engagement party he sees his best friend's little sister, Princess Gwen, and can't believe how beautiful she is and he knows he wants her for his Queen. Princess Gwen has had a crush on Edward for as long as she can remember but she is engaged to Marquis de Roach. She can't believe that her parents sold her to the slime ball. So when she gets to the party she proceeds to get really drunk. They will go to any lengths to be together. This is a very sexy read. The chemistry is over the top. I loved this book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Kelar baca gw Cuma bengong “kenapa ya gw baca ni novel” ahahahahaha absurd banget pokoknya, liat princess, adek temennya, taunya ude tunangan sama marques siapa gt lah gak penting, horny, hampir uhuk2.. trs mengumumkan pada dunia kalau die akan nikahin si princess bkn calon tunangannya yg anak pengusaha. Trs di tekan sama penasehat istana, kalau lo tu gak bisa sembarangan nikahin cewe mana saja.. trs bikin pengumuman kalau tadi Cuma joke, die akan ttp nikahin calon tunangan yg anak pengusaha.. dalam satu malem!
Terus marah-marah pas princess nya milih pulang sama si marques abis itu.. lah menurut lo?! Kesel kan gw… akhirnya HEA si, king nya ttp gak bisa hidup tanpa si princess.. duh geje banget sumpah!
Cute, funny novella about King Edward and Princess Gwen, who are both betrothed to others (Ignora and Roach, respectively) but fall in love. The King's best friend is Prince James, and Prince James' sister is Gwen. So, this is a best friend's little sister royal story. Edward is a cocky King who takes what he wants, but can he honour and serve his people if he breaks a betrothal promise? Will the subjects accept Gwen? It's a tough life being royal but their attraction can't be denied. You can expect the King of Amore to prevail!
I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.
A fantastic and intriguing book. King Edward is engaged to woman he cannot stand and Princess Gwen is in an arranged marriage to a man she cannot stand too look at. When King Edward sees the princess at this engagement party, he is more than smitten. He cannot believe how much the princess has changed and grown over the years. She is after all his best friend's sister. When she literally falls into his arms, all engagements are off and these two have connected for real and the king will not stop until Gwen is his queen. Very short read that keeps your attention and shows that true-love does exist! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Princess Gwen can’t do it, she just can’t....marry Marquis de Roach. The most disgusting, evil, slimy man ever but she has to according to her parents. No hope then BUT at her engagement party she never expects to see her brother James childhood friend..King Edward. Oh no, he’s engaged too. A brilliant story of a King pursuing the woman who he knows is truly the one for him...Princess Gwen. A hot, sexy story of a King going after what he wants and what he wants is Gwen. Now how to get around a problem but being a King gives him some privilege right.....oh yeah . Fantastic story, loved it.
I'm disappointed in this story. It had the potential to be a good love story but it was mostly bad language and sex, which isn't the same as romance. The story will probably be popular with people who like erotica. The princess Gwen didn't act or speak like a virgin at all. Edward was more believable since he fell for Gwen as soon as he saw her all grown up and decided to marry her, but he was quick to put the moves on her the night they met again. I'd recommend it to people who like erotica.

King Edward is hosting an engagement party for his arranged marriage, his best friend walks in with a beautiful woman and in that moment King Edward knows that she belongs to him. He is shocked to discover the beautiful woman is Princess Gwen, his best friend’s little sister all grown up. With both King and Princess engaged to others will they find a way to be together? This is a fast paced read with loads of drama and suspense. The story is fun and entertaining with great characters and plenty of steam. I really liked it.
I loved this book, it took me barely a couple hours to read. Like almost all girls I love my fairytales with my princes and princess. Yet we're not dealing with boy princes here. Oh no we're dealing with the real thing- Kings; strong possessive, dirty talking more than bark Men.
A great first book of a three book installment. I can't wait to read the others. I've loved this one quite a bit. I hope The Kings Surprise Bride comes out soon.
The King's Virgin Bride is an entertaining short read filled with engagements, breakups, romance, steamy sex and twists that will keep you turning the pages. Loved Princess Gwen and King Edward and how even though they were engaged to others they fell in love. Great storyline, well developed characters and a perfect ending make this a 5-star read. This is my first book by Natalie Knight and I will definitely be looking for more of her books. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is the 1st book A Royal Wedding series and it’s a great start to the series.
Gwen is the sister of King Edward’s best friend. She is engaged to a man she doesn’t like but family duties and all. King Edward is hosting his own engagement party to a women he doesn’t love for his kingdom. He spots Gwen and sparks fly. They come together and have issues with the Kingdom. Do they stick it out and get their HEA?
Edward King of Amore is set to marry Ignora at his announcement party his best friend Prince James reintroduces his sister Princess Gwen who’s engaged to someone else. The moment they see each other there is instant attraction. Edward now wants Gwen to be his queen. Can they get rid of their obligations and be together or will they be stuck with people they don’t want. Good book.
He is engaged to a selfish woman who only wants to be Queen. He needs a Queen in order to be King. She is with someone her family sold her off to. She is the sister of his best friend who he hasn't seen for years. He wants her and she wants him but there is so much in the way. What do they do? Exciting, suspenseful, very emotional, surprising and so much more. I was given a review copy boy book sprout and voluntarily review it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This genre isn’t one of my favorites. I did like the humor of the characters. Edward and Gwen were childhood friends. She secretly always had a crush on him. When they bump into each other at his engagement party, things start to steam up. Edward attitude was a little annoying, but overall an ok book. This is only my opinion and shouldn’t discourage you from reading it. If you enjoy historical books you’ll like it.
An addictive royal romance that will make you fell good all over. Especially this weekend 😊. This romance, with a dash of royalty and a sprinkle of glitter was everything I could have wanted from a royal wedding book. This beautiful romance had it all, glitz, glamour, passion and lots of sizzling hotness you won’t want to put this book down. If your after your own royal wedding, then this book is definitely for you. I would absolutely recommend this book to all book lovers out there
King’s Virgin Bride is Gwen and Edwards royal Romance story! They were friends as kids and he was her brothers best friend, but after not seeing each other for years the sparks fly! They are both betrothed to other people and neither are happy about it. Will they get together? Will Edward cross that line and go for his best friends little sister? It was a great story with loveable characters. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
