Learning and Enlightenment

Learning and enlightenment can manifest in diverse forms. J. A. Rogers has significantly simplified this through his substantial efforts to document the contributions of Black individuals to the annals of human history.

This second volume of J.A. Rogers' decades-old work once again proves that black American scholarship and research is prosperous and can thrive in an environment of indifference and silence.

Further, Mr. Rogers showed in this second work of the series that there were indeed many great personalities of African descent who proved themselves worthy of historical mention and civilization influence all over the world.

It is right that black Americans in particular read, study, and further the investigations put forth in this book and its first volume. The restoration of pride in ourselves begins with knowledge and proceeds from knowledge to positive action.
