I do not know what to say. Let's just leave it at the fact that my reviews for the book 1 and 2 pretty much sum up my problems with this whole series. Because in all honesty, there is not a lot of difference between the 11 books in this series.

This was supposed to be a spin-off featuring Devyn's brother(s), but I don't understand why it's labelled "spin-off" because it's just another book in this series, nothing unusual or original...

I could get past these things if I felt something between them, but I fell nothing. She is just a wh*re he purchased.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS
ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-21/5/18

So I really enjoyed "Bought By The Badman" and this being a new author for me I wasn't sure quite what to expect.
Well, it was a really positive experience folks and I raced through this story not stopping till I was at the very end.
It was a definite one-sitter read for me.
So first; this is part of a series; number #10 I think, but let me tell you that doesn't matter a tall.
This can, and I did read this as a stand-alone; I had no issues following along with the storyline either.
This was told in Dual POV; my favourite and also had the added bonus of coming with many diverse and interesting side characters; some not very nice ones either.
This is a mafia romance and the (H) here Aiden O'Neil is head of his Irish family.
Father of four and recently single.
The (h) Giovanna Ross is an Italian mafia bastard; A princess in blood only and a pawn used for her father's whims.
Vanna is basically her father's currency who he uses quite liberally as collateral when and if needed.
So this isn't your conventional romance and has some very dark undertones of abuse.
Some of the scenes between Aiden and Giovanna border on the uncomfortable side of the spectrum; just so you're aware of this.
Myself, I'm pretty much down for anything; this is fiction after all and I think it does add a slightly more believable angle to the proceedings here.
Aiden being the head of his criminal family is hardly likely to be all rainbows and roses now, is he?
Despite Aidens profession and faults, I found his most redeeming quality was just how much he adored his children.
Even going as far as to originally go against convention when His wife betrays him.
And I do believe he did this mainly because of his children.
There is a lot of Aiden to dislike; but also so much to embrace.
This is the mafia and as such the rules are so different; expectations are so warped against this volatile playground; the reality so atypical from the usual norm.
Vanna's journey from being her father's property to Aiden's treasure was a road paved in ruin but also in new hope.
Vanna's past has shaped the woman she has become and as such, she is the perfect foil for her Irish prince.
In reality, she is the perfect mob wife; accepting of all things, knowing when to keep quiet and when to wade in.
Her previous profession's training is actually a plus here as the behaviour of how to act is already ingrained to the core within Vanna; who'd of thought aye?
So this had so many twists and turns and was a fantastic read.
It was a fabulous story and I'm looking forward to backtracking to read previous titles in this addictive series.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Bought by the Badman (Russian Bratva #10)" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

My bad man, my sweet man.

I thought this was a pretty good read.
A mafia prince now a king, and a mafia princess who never got to be a princess. I liked the story. Not that it’s unique or different, but it was a good quick mafia read. This is book 10 in a series, so there are established relationships talked about that I assume were in the other books. Maybe not though. Doesn’t ruin the story of Aidan and Giovanna any.

I have loved this series from the beginning and am sad to see it coming to an end but Hayley has kept the series fresh and exciting!

This isn't your typical Mafia love story. There isn't a virgin heroine or a heroine who has been contracted to marry into the mafia. Giovanna has family ties to the mafia but she's been used to give men pleasure and not by her choice.

Aidan has just divorced his wife and the last thing he's looking for is another relationship. He has been set up to meet Giovanna for his own needs. When these two meet the attraction they feel for each other is strong. Aidan struggles how she would fit in his life and how he would explain her to his children.

I really enjoyed this one. I really loved how we get to see a few past characters. Another great addition to the series.

It’s by-the-numbers but it hits my trope cravings. I’d give this a 3 if it wasn’t my favourite tropes. I’d give this a 5 if it was just a little less predictable and safe towards the end. There was more suspense and angst at the start. A little too much smut and not enough angst/character development towards the end. Nonetheless, I liked it a lot.

My favourite part was how Aidan in his POV and to Giovanna would say he would give her anything she wanted. It’s hot when he says it! 🥹😮‍💨

Giovanna Rossi is the dark side of mafia life. An illegitimate daughter of an Italian boss, that puts her to work for him in the worst sense possible. Aidan O’Neil is the new head of the Irish mob, after a very bloody family coup detailed in the previous book. In exchange for his position, he now answers to the Bratva, headed by his new brother-in-law. At first he is unsure what to think when he is given Giovanna as a "present". He never expects the "girlfriend experience" to become this real.

The Good:
1. Previously Irish mob themed mafia romance has been more miss than hit for me. This was a welcome win for the trope. I really bought into the world, and surprised to like the players after hating the members in a previous book.

2. Giovanna's backstory was tragic, without weighing the book down too much. It was presented more as "this is what is" versus being an angst albatross.

3. Aidan O’Neil is a benevolent jerk. He goes back and forth with frustrating a reader, and melting you into giving him a pass. If you are partial to alpha-holes, he will make your list.

4. Their romance trajectory felt realistic despite moving so fast.

The Bad:

1. I liked this, but missed my Russians that got me hooked on this series to begin with. This should have been a spin-off instead of being part of the Russian Bratva series.

2. If you have gotten to book 10 in this series, you know how dark it can go. This is one of those. It is not safe.

Final Thoughts:
A win for the Irish branch of mafia-romacelandia...finally. Those looking for their Bratva fix will not be so happy though. It did satisfy this Russian mob junkie, so there is that. If you're open to another type of crime story than expected, it is definitely worth checking out.

I realize that I did NOT start the series in order so I’m gonna have to go back to the beginning

I loved Giovanna’s character so much, my heart broke for her on multiple occasions. Ugh scenes where the mc loses hope and basically retreats into themselves ALWAYS ALWAYS without fail make me cry man. Also aiden is giving Owen Hunt to me idk why but I see it. Oh I know, both made me swoon and then two minutes later had me wishing I could pistol whip them 🤭

I do wish we were able to see vanna’s relationship grow with the kids tho because all of the sudden they’re all besties?? No babes I wanted ANGST… elowyn and Giovanna’s dynamic was sort of cute tho ig.

💓💓💖🎆

These books get better and better every time. I will say that I was asked to read this story as an arc for my honest review. And I thought I could read it as a standalone, but I couldn't. Maybe some people could, but with nine other stories before this one, I really had to go back and read the others. I am so happy I did!

I liked Aiden in the past couple stories he was in. He is a strong character and he needed a strong woman with him. But we already knew he was married. Little did we know what a horrible woman she was.

Giavonne is perfect. Her life is hell and she is in need of a prince charming. Aiden is not that. But he does save her in his own way. He is, after all, a badman.

I loved this story.

description
If you thought the Russian Bratva men were violent, intensely alpha wait till you meet Aidan O'Neil, the Prince of the Irish mob!

Hayley Faiman's latest book Bought by the Badman is a spin off of her Russian Bratva series and it is phenomenal.

Giovanna Rossi was born an Italian princess but her life has been far from a fairytale. Raised to be a whore she is given to Aidan, the man that is now a leader of the Irish mob but has formed a union with the Russian Bratva. Once reading the backstory of Giovanna you may find that she is a weak pitiful woman. If that is how you see her then go back and start over because she has to be one of the strongest heroines I have read. To survive, she has adapted her life to what others have made her. She takes control the only way a woman in her position can. She is broken in so many ways and is only seen as a pawn in a game that isn't hers to play.

I adored Aidan but in true Hayley Faiman fashion he had his moments where he needed a beat down because of his actions toward Giovanna. I could kind of excuse his confused feelings towards her because he didn't know her whole story but there comes a time when he pushed too far. But when this Irish hothead falls in love and recognizes his true feelings for Giovanna he doesn't let anyone stop him from claiming her.

Hayley Faiman knows how to write hot, intense, passionate scenes and there were plenty between Aidan and Giovanna. What was sexy was sometimes you wonder who was seducing who. I was overheated reading this book numerous times!

I love the Russian Bratva series but I would love more from her Irish men as well!

Russians, Irish and Italians oh my! Bought By The Badman is the latest book in the Russian Bratva series and was originally going to be the final book. I devoured this one. I have loved this entire series since I first read it but I really couldn’t put this one down even when I had to. Now there are some darker moments in this book like throughout the series so be prepared if you have potential triggers.

Giovanna and Aidan consumed my time. These two characters will earn your loyalty rather quickly. Aidan was sexy, he was dangerous, he could be sweet, and he could be a mean son of a bitch at times. I even wanted to take Aidan’s gun out and shoot him a time or ten, but I couldn’t help but still love him. I understood his line of thinking to an extent but at the same time I while wanting to shoot him I wanted to scream for him to open his damn eyes already. Giovanna, I felt for her. She should have been something precious instead she was cast aside so to speak but in the end, what happened to her brought her to Aidan, even if it was in a very unconventional way so to speak. The chemistry between these two is off the charts but it’s not only sexual, it is emotional as well.

Remember how I stated it was supposed to be the last book? Well Ms. Faiman has one more planned, maybe we can bug her to keep on even after that. Bought By The Badman has me wanting to read the entire series over again because I can’t help but love the badman, pun intended.

Gritty, rough, but exceptionally beautiful Bought By The Badman is by far my favorite mafia read yet. Mixed in with the darkness that goes hand in hand with the Mafia is an epic romance that will make you long for a man just like Aiden. Hayley Faiman has a way of writing that brings the characters and story to life in a way that is completely captivating. I found myself so lost in this book that hours flew by and I never even noticed.

Giovanna is an amazing women. Her entire life she’s been treated as an object and pawn but that didn’t stop her from being someone with a kind and gentle heart when it comes to those she loves. She perfectly balances being a sweetheart and tough as nails. The perfect match to Aiden who is more than the leader of the Irish Mafia, but also a loving father and a man who wants a better life for his family.

Their story is one you just HAVE TO read. The emotions that pour off the page right into your heart, the shocking action, the heart melting romance. It all has to be experienced to get the full effect of just how wonderful this book truly is.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! 5 IRISH DANCING STARS!!!! I FUCKING LOVED THIS BOOK!!!😩😩😍😍
My chest hurt like physically hurt whilst reading Vanna’s story. It was heartbreaking and painful and I knew it was gonna be phenomenal when i read the prologue!!! She was everything you want in a female lead. She was so damn strong! She suffered at the hands of such a bastard and Aidan just swooped right in and oh God!!! It was fabulous!!! The brothers were such a joy and his children....oh my Lord! Their names were precious and i loved the interaction he has with them and the love she immediately had for all of them. It was just simply wonderful!!! He deserved happiness as much as she did!
I have loved this whole series and the progression of writing from the first book to this one is absolutely AMAZING!!! She writes so well and it’s so beautiful with the perfect mix of angst! I will ALWAYS recommend these books as well as her others she writes because she is truly one of my very fave authors!!!!

Talk about starting a book off with a bang. From the moment you start this book, it is non-stop and you cannot wait to see how the story is going to unfold and how these characters are going to react. This is the 10th book in this series and honestly, if you didnt know that, you would not be able to tell from the book. Each storyline has been fresh and new, and this one did not disappoint as well.
The love story between Giovanna and Aiden is completely different from the rest. Their story is dirty and gritty but heart-wrenching at the same time.
They may be one of my favorite couples in this series.
5 Stars for a great book!!

Bought by the Badman is a standalone, but number 10 in the Bratva series. These books are crafted perfectly to be read on their own or as part of the series.

This is the story of Aiden and Giovanna. Having read this entire series, I can say that I found this installment to be the most well written and emotional of the series. I was in tears, I could feel Giovanna’s hopes and pains. It was beautifully done. While I could never choose a favorite Badman, Aiden is really close to the top of the list. He’s domineering and sexy, he’s ruthless, but can find his heart when needed.

Overall, Bought by the Badman was simply fantastic. It fits in beautifully to the works created, and is the best of the series. The characters are real, raw, and gritty. It gets dark at times, but there is a sense of light throughout. I would recommend Bought by the Badman to any reader who enjoys organized crime romance.

Aidan the oldest ended his 15 years marriage at 35. Fallon his wife was cheating behind his back with so many men. They had 4 children. His brother arranged him with a russian princess who has been whored out by her father, Giovanna. He instantly liked fucking her and she was a bit of doormat raised as a whore you know. She let him fuck her to the point of pain. He called her “my treasure”. He bought her from his Pakhan Timofhei for 3 million when she was to be whored out to the mean politician Blackluster. She was still self conscious and he fucked and whipped her ass. His family saw her awful state and berated him. He came out from his asshole self and beg forgiveness from her. She readily forgives him. She was kidnapped and tortured by Blackluster. She was saved and she shot Blackluster dead. Aidan proposed to her and epilogue of Aidan’s oldest daughter getting married 5 years later and they had 2 additional toddlers.

Let me start by saying that this book is one in a series of books. I didn’t know that, but I still feel you can read this book as a standalone. Now with that being said, go get the other books in this series. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. They all are unique and perfectly written. What I can say is that this book is not your typical mafia romance and by that, I mean it’s not your typical virginal heroine that is partnered or bartered away to help two rival families can come together to stop a war, no this is about a woman that is sold to satisfy men and not by choice.
Hayley Faimans writing is just so captivating that I was enthralled with this story. I couldn’t put it down to save my life. I ignored everything and everyone for this book. Not only does she bring out the dark and dangerous side of the Mafia’s, but it has this almost darker romance that is perfectly woven in.
Giovanna is like no other woman I have read lately. Not only has she kept hold of her humanity and her kind heart through out her hole life, but she is this perfect tough lady that you just want to go have a drink with. Even though she has been treated as an object her whole life a pawn to satisfy the men who buy her. The way Hayley Faiman wrote her has me wanting to jump for joy. The fact that Giovanna has been through all that but hasn’t turned into the shell of the woman she once was. She is also the Italian Mafia princess but he father had other ideas for her. She is a broken Princess.
Aidan is the head of the Irish Mafia. Despite hating his father and what he stood for he is now the ruler of what his father stood for. He is also freshly divorced from a woman that he has long ago feel out of love with. He may be the head of the Irish Mafia, but he is also a loving father, something his father was lacking. Now that he runs everything he cleaned house so to speak and made alliances with two powerful families. With all this ruling comes stress like you would not believe. That is how he meets the enigma that is Giovanna. The broken Prince meets that Broken Princess.
I absolutely loved Aidans brothers, they kind of keep him on the straight and like bring him back when he starts to go over the ledge so to speak. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. It hits you right in the feelings, not only do you almost instantly fall in love with him but you also at times just want to take of him the Mafia way. I am just saying I love the man and he is the perfect Irish Mafia king, but I just couldn’t help but think that he could be better. Even though he hated his father and everything he stood for I felt like at times he was just like him. Giovanna, I had this strong need to just hug her and take her away from all the pain and sorrow in her life, but that feelings honestly start to fade because you just know she won’t let anything get her down. She is that tough as nails. The love she still has for her family is something that I can’t fathom. I just wanted to sit her down and be like baby girl your father did this to you. I feel though that is what makes her her.
After reading this installment I went back and read all the others in this series. I do have to say they all have this hit you right in the heart/feelings way about them. As you read them you can feel the heart and soul of the author in each one till you get to this one and its such a strong feeling that you don’t want to see it end. This book is so beautifully devastating at times that I was moved to tears. I couldn’t stop them even if I tried. All the twist and turns had me on the edge of my seat because I just couldn’t believe the author did that to us. One of my favorite Mafia books hands down and Mafia Romances is my all time favorite romance sub-genre.

If you know me or if you follow my reviews frequently enough. Than you probably know that Mrs. Faiman is one of my favorite indie authors. Seriously I love all her Nortorious Devil's series and all of her Bratva Series. And speaking of which on her Bratva Series, I had been under the assumption going into this book that this one was the last of her Bratva men. which of course made me sad thinking about it all coming to an end.

I will say this book is not so much about my favorite Russian bratva men. As it is about my favorite Irish man. But don't worry the Russians do make an appearance in this book. Now I'm rambling on and probably giving to much away!!! Lol.... Anyways onto my review.

I think I will start with Aiden O'Neil, if you don't know who Aiden is I suggest going back and reading Devyn and Timofei's book of you haven't yet. But if you happen not to go back and read the other book before going on to read this one. Aiden is Devyn's big brother, the oldest brother. He is also the man in charge of the Irish mob, from his father's death. He is also a man who was in a loveless marriage for many many years. I really loved Aiden in this book, I thought he was sweet, kind, caring. You could tell how much he loved his children. You could tell how much he loved and cared about his brothers and sister, and their families.

Alright let's get to Giovanna. She is the illegitimate daughter of the Italian head of the mob, Antonio Rossi. Her father decided instead of acknowledging he had an illegitimate child that she would become a working girl. And that's what Giovanna has done and is the best at what she does. I felt for Vanna and what her father made her do.

I really really enjoyed this book. And I really enjoyed Aiden and Giovanna. I think they are really close to being at the top of my favorite couples, though no one could ever take Kirill and Tatyana's spot as my favorites in this series. But Aiden and Giovanna come in a very close second. I loved the dynamics that Aiden had with his brothers in this book. And although the Russians aren't really in this book, as mentioned above they do make an appearance. Also as mentioned above this book was supposed to be the last in this series, but Mrs. Faiman is going to have one more!!!

I'm giving this book 4.5 Stars out of 5!!!

Badmen have never been so hot! Take another lovely stroll through the world of organized crime with a touch of romance. Bought by the Badman has everything you would expect to see in mafia/organized crime book. You have action, shady dealings, jealous counterparts, and then a little romance on the side. This series is one of my favorites.
I was iffy about this plot to begin with. Could I really get behind this story? The answer is yes. While I had reservations about the topic, I fell in love with this story. I think I liked it even more because it was a dip into the Irish side of things instead of staying strictly Russian. We also were able to see many characters from before which was amazing as well.
I fell in love with Giovanna from the very beginning. She is such an amazing and dynamic character. My heart really ached for her so many times that I can’t even count them. Then you have Aidan. He really angered me at times. He is what you would expect from a man really. While he is big and powerful, he was also clueless to the workings of a woman at times. Even with that, I loved him too.
The heat in this book is top notch. All of these books have always showcased the heat in a beautiful and amazing way. These two characters have chemistry and even though they have been with others, it was nice to see the subtle change in how they are together. This part of the book was perfect for me.
I liked the way the author wrote this book. The pace was steady. There was just enough conflict to keep it interesting, but not feel like it was too much. The characters were written really well. I bought into their story and was rooting for them the entire time. The book is easy to read, but does have some pretty tough scenes.
Overall, I really liked this book. It is probably my favorite in the series. These two characters really made me feel for each one of them. I wanted them to have this fairytale ending with the dark and twisty that is organized crime. This was an amazing series and I will probably reread it again in the future.

The brilliant Hayley Faiman has penned another masterpiece in the Russian Bratva series (a standalone spin-off novel), and I'm in complete awe that she just keeps turning them out to be honest. Of course this time, it was more of the Irish crime family was featured when a fallen prince meets a fallen princess! See, Giovanna Rossi was born an Italian Mafia Princess (by blood only), but her father decided she would be raised to be a high priced call girl instead, so she had no illusions for a better life. Aidan O'Neil was an Irish Prince, who couldn't stand for what his father stood for, and once his father was dead, he cleaned house in the organization, & making an alliance with his Irish mob and the Russian Bratva. His brother in law, hooked him up with Giovanna for stress relief, but it doesn't take long before the line becomes blurry between stress relief and growing feelings. I couldn't help but falling in love with Aidan, although there were times that I wanted to seriously hurt him, luckily, there was a cast of secondaries that included his brothers, who helped straighten him up a time or two. And there were so many times that I felt so much pain for Giovanna, because of how the men in her life screwed her over, starting with her, (insert colorful metaphor) father, who kept her as property in the stables. Like the rage was strong on her behalf to the point that I couldn't breathe, and Aidan didn't help at times either. But you get the picture. At least their chemistry was off the charts flammable that lead to sexy times that lit the sheets on fire when he wasn't being a complete douche! And there was a twist or two that had the f-bombs dropping as well in the midst of my rage & other extreme emotions. Finally, Ms. Faiman made my day/month/year when she revealed that this wouldn't be the last book in this series, so YAY! And that's all from me, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not sure typical mafia romance but that’s why I love Ms. Faiman’s stories. In this book the female lead was not a virgin, quite the opposite. There were no marriage contracts between the two main characters, Aidan’s first marriage was a contract that was set up by his father and that ended badly. So what do you get when you put together an Irish Prince, who’s father was murdered in hopes to save the family business and put him with an Italian Princess whose father made her the highest priced whore in his brothel- A fan-freaking-tastic story. Aidan wants to keep his relationship with the head of the Russian Bratva, his brother-in-law, and the Irish Mob that he is in charge of now as a united front. So that’s when the newly divorced Aidan takes up his brother-in-law on the offer of one of his women to satisfy his needs.

Giovanna has never been given the choice to please a man for the sake of giving pleasure, her father made sure of that. She is used as a pawn to the highest bidder for her father’s own gain. She is sold to the Russians and she thinks her life is getting better because they haven’t used her like the Italians did. When she meets Aidan she allows herself to hope and believe. She always fell back on her training with Aidan and he didn’t like it. They had some off the charts chemistry between the two of them and the sex was absolutely HOT!!!

Standing in their way to a happily ever after were a few obstacles. First and foremost Aidan’s children- how could he introduce Giovanna to his kids with her “occupation”. When his ex-wife makes an impromptu appearance Giovanna has doubts in their relationship. To top it all off a client from her past kidnaps and hold her hostage. Will Aidan be in time to save her?

All of Hayley Faiman’s Russian Bratva books are excellent but I think this is by far my favorite of the series. Bravo Ms. Faiman!!

Bought by the Badman was a great 5 star read.
This is book 10 in the Russian Bratva series by Hayley Faiman.
I was once again pulled right in and couldn’t stop until I was done.

Giovanna is supposed to be considered an Italian Mafia princess, however her father has been using her body for years to make money. When she is told that she has been sold to someone else she isn’t sure what to expect.

Aidan is a single father after sending his wife away for infidelities and hasn’t been with a woman in months. When he is told by his brother-in-law that there is a gift for him, he goes but isn’t quite sure what to expect. When he meets Vanna there is something about her that calls to him in a way that unsettles him. Just when you think he’s given up on her there is a twist and he becomes her owner. Will Vanna get the life she wants with him or will she be a kept woman?

Sure, he claims he wants to keep me, but most men feel territorial about their toys.

There is so much more awesomeness to this story. There is intensity and hotness between these two, I loved it, although there is one scene that had me in tears. There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. I loved Aidan’s brothers and how protective they were with Vanna, and put him in his place. Hayley Faiman does such a great job with her writing, you get pulled right in and you feel like your a part of the story. She doesn’t hold anything back and gives you everything you could want in this great series. Hayley is an author that I will buy and read without reading the synopsis because I know I’m going to get a great read. Get started today on this great series. Note: all books can be read as standalones but don’t be silly, start at the beginning.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

So good!!

I could kind of excuse his confused feelings towards her because he didn't know her whole story but there comes a time when he pushed to far. But when this Irish hothead falls in love and recognizes his true feelings for Giovanna he doesn't let anyone stop him from claiming her.

Hayley Faiman knows how to write hot intense passionate scenes and there were plenty between Aidan and Giovanna. What was sexy was sometimes you wonder who was seducing who. I was overheated reading this book numerous times!

I love the Russian Bratva series but I would love more from her Irish men as well!

CHEATING book - DNF 80%. Apparently, this author only writes cheating romance, but since no one seems to mention this I thought I would.

SPOILER:

- H gets a BJ from someone after having sex with the h twice. This blow job scene is detailed and he isnt attracted to the woman who jumped on him, but he is rough with this OW during this as he thinks of the h . H/h are not in a relationship (she's a sex slave), so not technically cheating but I hate seeing this in a romance novel and I wouldnt have wasted my time on this book if I had known, so I thought I would mention it.

- h is kidnapped and raped by sadist (another common trope for this author).

- H beat her with a belt and raped her. This scene isnt one of those bondage scenes, he totally beat her butt because he was stressed about work and she pissed him off. She was so hurt that a few people had to carry her to the bathroom (3 of his brother saw her naked)...

- h is a doormat, but after everything, she's gone through in her life of sexual slavery, it's understandable. Most of the time, I felt bad for her, instead of being annoyed by her.

- "love" is not believable for me when they say the ILY, because they barely do anything but have sex. I felt like this poor girl deserved a HEA with someone who didnt have 4 kids, yuck.

- I am confused by their age difference. He says he's 40+ but he was 20 when he married his wife of 15 years, which makes him 35 yrs old. He also says he's close to the age of the Madam who is in mid 40s, made no sense. I assumed the h is in her early 20s.

Pros: Hot love scenes.

This was my first book by this author and I wont bother with her other books.

If you are looking for a easy love story than move on because Hayley delivered us a addicting dark romance that will have you feeling the highs and lows of this couples' journey. If you haven't had the chance to read anything by this author or this series now is the time. You don't have to read any others to enjoy this one but you will love them as well. This one left me not knowing if I wanted to jump into the story and beat the hell out of Aiden. Be prepared to feel a wide range of emotions while reading this story.

Aiden is a bastard in the figurative sense. He takes out things on Giovanna that leaves her wrecked and he thinks he knows who exactly she is but he has no clue. The constant push and pull that he puts Vanna through and his treatment of her made me want to jump in and crush him. Vanna has been neglected all her life. Then her father comes in and just treats her like the worst form of shit. She is brainwashed pretty much to believe she doesn't deserve any better and that she is there for one reason only. My heart absolutely broke for all she has dealt with since she was a kid and what she is still going through. I was rooting for her to get her happy ending and the twists and turns and bumps in the road still are going to keep coming.

I highly recommend this book and I am thrilled that she isn't done writing this series. I can't wait for more by Hayley!!

I don't have enough stars for this book. I loved everything about this book. From the beginning these books have held me captive. I don't know if it is the dark elements of these books or just the fantastic writing of the author.

I had no idea what to expect out of Aidan in this book. We have not seen a lot of him, other than in Devyn's book. I had high hopes that he was great, but with a little bad on the side. He did not disappoint!! He was a super alpha male that took his family very seriously. I am so glad that he saw his father for the monster that he was. I love the way he loved his children and the relationship he had with his bothers. Now don't get me wrong, he treated Giovanna like shit and it really upset me. She did not deserve the treatment that she got and he was terrible.

Giovanna...what can you say. When I read how her life had gone, my chest ached. I wanted to cry for her throughout this entire book. She was such a great female lead. The suffering that she endured, the horrible feeling of not having a place in the world. It was just heart wrenching!!!

This book was just fabulous!! I would recommend this series to anyone, it is just that good!!!! I do not want it to end*******

Please tell me why there are only 5 stars, because this book deserves so many more. I have followed this series from the very beginning. I remember being so excited for the release of Haleigh and Maxim in Owned by the Badman, and here we are at the final book of the series. Haley took us into the world of these Russians running their business and taking care of each other and the women they love. Sometimes it was ugly, and sometimes it was beautiful, but no matter what, these books were filled with danger, sex and romance.
Hayley did not disappoint with Bought. It was different from most of the series, being that the main family in this story was Irish, rather than Russian, but if you read Betrothed to the Badman, you already met Aidan, and were anxiously awaiting his book.
Most of the books in the Russian Bratva series had a underlying story line that you really needed to follow from the start to get the full effect. However this book could truly be read as a standalone. While some of our favorite Badmen make an appearance, we are introduced to a new family of badmen to hopefully fall in love with.

Even though this is the Russian Bratva series, the story revolves around the Irish mob. More specifically, around the head of the Irish mob, Aidan O’Neill. If you are a dedicated fan of the series, you will definitely remember him from Devyn (Aidan’s little sister) and Timofei’s book. You will also be happy to visit again with a couple of the Bratva members. If you’ve never read the previous books in the serious, no worries. This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone. It will only make you want to go back to where everything started :)))

I loved Giovanna and Aidan’s story. It was so unexpected, they were both so different, but I was so caught in their whirlwind of a romance. They were both such tortured souls in their own way, and deserved to find their happy ending. There were quite a few twists and turns, and just when I thought they were out of the woods, something else would happen. I also really enjoyed all of Aiden’s brothers.

On a final note, as a warning for those who cannot deal with physical abuse of any kind, if that’s a trigger for you, stay away. Giovanna is being put through the wringer, sometimes even by the hero himself.
