Ahoy me farties. Cap'n Tank Girl here. Today I’m hanging out with the gang at Port Peachy. This place is a hive of scum, villainy, and human poos floating in the sea. Not an ideal location for a fish and chip lunch, I’m sure you'll agree, but bear it we must for today is the day that Booga's friend Bartholomew Anchor gets released from prison after ten years' hard labour...

I do like a bit of Tank Girl and couldn't resist this anthology of stories when I spotted it on sale in Forbidden Planet.

The usual silliness is in full flow but I feel the language has been toned down a little (I would have expected worse than 'poo'). We see Tank Girl being set up, a unique version of The Importance of Being Ernest, and a bizarre 'James Bond' type story, amongst others.

It didn't quite land as well as the early comics but I couldn't help giggle in places. 3 1/2 stars.

A hodgepodge of silly takes. The art is good, almost too good for Tank Girl. Puns, double entendres, and the return of Camp Koala!

I like the ensemble style of the new Tank Girl. I think Sub Girl and Jet Girl are at their best in these new Martin comics.

Okay reboot, it’s a fun read honestly. I miss the charm of the old series and Jamie.
